   We had a party of 10. The waitress was awesome!!! (Chantelle). They allowed me to go in 15 to 20 minutes before my guest to setup my tables. We were celebrating my birthday!!!

    Ended our night at the racetrack with dinner at the Spotted Horse. We were seated immediately by the hostess and our server was very attentive and personable. We didn’t get an appetizer, but the free bread and butter was great! I got the ribeye with a side salad and baked potato, and my husband got the seafood Alfredo with a side salad. Both dishes were great. My steak was a little bit more done than I would have liked, but still seasoned very well. It’s a bit pricey—$70 for both of our entrees, but the food is very good (way better than the other food options at the casino in my opinion) and the atmosphere is nice.

    Nice and quiet since it was early. Filled up on the appetizer and could only eat half of main course. Will finish off tonight. Everything was very good. Wait staff all smiles and friendly. Will definitely go again.

    Overall it's not a bad Restaurant. The initial service in seating was good. The appetizers were delicious especially the fried tomatoes. However the time it took to get our entrees was longer than one would care to wait. Steaks were slightly overcooked but edible.

    This was our third visit and despite having a reservation and there being only a few occupied tables, we waited 15 minutes before being seated. The hostess cited problems with re-stocking food?? When the bread was brought to the table, it was hard and cold - obviously old and microwaved - wasn't even warm enough to melt the butter. The food and cocktails were very good. Prices have increased. Very poor ventilation with no ceiling fans to move out the smoke coming from the casino makes dining uncomfortable for those with respiratory issues and there is no on-site restroom. Patrons must walk down smoke filled hallway adjacent to casino to get there.

    Cannot write anything about the experience. We got there at our scheduled reservation time only to have someone tell us that the restaurant was booked for a private party. The person told me they tried to call but I never received his phone call. It shouldn't have been hard when he couldn't contact me to go to the desk at the hotel and leave a message for when we checked in at 3 p.m. to know we didn't have reservations anymore. Instead of 9:15 when my party showed up looking forward to eating there. The guy did comp a meal for us at the "to go" fast food place there. It was my birthday and everyone was looking forward to a higher class meal steak, seafood, etc. Instead we had to settle for frozen fried food. We would have made other plans if we would have been properly contacted. Definitely failure on The Spotted Horse Tavern.

    Food was excellent!! I had the crab cakes for appetizer, and the salmon for main course. I also had chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, and French 75 cocktail. My husband had fried fish and shrimp. We were both very happy with our food. Service was great. Alice was very attentive and caring.

    I went to The Spotted Horse Tavern & Dining Parlor on 9/17/21, but I went on that date because I previously went the weekend before (I should of known better than to return). When I went the week before the service was HORRIBLE but the food was MAGNIFICENT. I assumed maybe it was a bad night with staff so I’ll try again the following weekend which happened to be the visit of the night 9/17/21 which I had a reservation for. Well my upon checking in with my reservation the restaurant manager mentioned that they are running 10 minutes behind to have a seat so we waited then 10 minutes turned into 30 minutes not to mention the manager was very RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! We were seated then we waited 20 minutes before we were even asked what we wanted to drink. It was so bad that the bartender kept saying, “ someone will be with you soon please be patient”. Once the waitress came we gave our drink orders then it came 15 minutes later so 20 minutes later I asked the waitress where is the drink from the bar we ordered she stated she forgot to submit the order. When she finally submitted the drink order she then came which is now almost 30 minutes of us waiting to take our dinner order. Well however we had to ask for 2 servings of the complimentary bread because we were hungry due to our food being an hour behind!! We sat an hour with bread, water & tea waiting for our food. I stopped the manger to ask her what is the delay she stated she will check on it, when she returned she LIED & stated, “ the food is in que it’s been 24 minutes it’s in perfect order timing” I stated ma’am we have been waiting an hour. She then just walked away! Our food came about 15 minutes after I spoke with her so now we’ve waited an hour & 15 minutes for COLD food. I was very disappointed for me thinking it would be better just give The Spotted Horse Tavern & Dining Parlor another try & also because of the way we were treated! That manager & waitress were so I compassionate about ALL the customers!

    Waitress was good but they were short handed and had her running too many tables. Hostess and 1 waitress that we saw had on t-shirts which I thought for the price of food and the setting, they should have been dressed better. Food was just ok for the price. Glass of wine was ordered and after 15 or so minutes, it was still not brought to the table, we cancelled that order.
