The Station Restaurant
First time eating at The Station and we enjoyed the whole experience. Service was right on. Our meals were good, but the mixed vegetables were sliced so thin and needing some flavor added. We will return, no problem and try other meals happily. Building is just beautiful!
Wonderful wait staff, outstanding food and a great atmosphere.
My husband tried the “steak on a stone” and was thoroughly impressed.
Birthday dinner for my dad. Everything was great except for one instance where I asked for butter and had to ask a 2nd and 3rd time.
Food was great. Service awesome - very accommodating to special requests. My only note would be that the restaurant is loud.
We really try to give restaurants a break, considering what they went through with Covid restrictions last year. But by now, most have figured it out. This place is basically a glorified diner, with a large menu that screams “we have lots of choice, but don’t expect too much”. We were seated, handed menus (including the cocktail menu), and were immediately subjected to a stream of 3 different servers asking for our drink order. “Specialty Cocktails” were bland and watery. Grilled Octopus appetizer was a hot mess of undercooked octopus and beans. Our entrees arrived 2 minutes after our appetizer was served. The shrimp in one of our entrees was fishy and undercooked, and couldn’t be rescued even when we sent it back for a second chance. The Capellini Puttanesca was overcooked and relatively void of any character or the characteristic flavors that make this dish so wonderful elsewhere. Gotta say that our server was pleasant, apologetic, and she really tried, and we appreciated that. All in all, this terribly paced dinner made for a disappointing visit on our first (and last) stop at this station.
We were having a girls reunion - spent a very long time talking and were not in a hurry, but never felt rushed! Food and service were excellent - always one of my top choices to go to or recommend for a lovely dining experience!
Food was seasoned perfectly and the service was "on point".
Seeing friends since before COVID!
Great food and service, had birthday cake for both our girls like we had requested. Was a great night out.
Love bringing guests there for a wonderful meal
Found this on Yelp and then OpenTable following a Post University graduation.
Asked the waitress about the lasagna and she replied “Well, some people like it…” not much of a recommendation. I had the bolognese and the sauce was very good. The french onion soup was very good. The batter coating on the fish and chips was too much, too thick.
Overall, a good meal and I would recommend and return.
This was my first time dining at The Station and it will not be my last. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The food was good and flavorful.
Wonderful service, and an amazing server. Already planning a reason to return.
Enjoyed our experience, sat outside in back, lovely atmosphere. Our server, Trish?, was fantastic! Food was very good and great attention to my allergy.
Amazing food. Great service and beautiful inside. Our new go to place.
The food was delicious. Had chicken Francois and chicken Marsala very flavorful and chicken was very tender. Generous amount of food
The food was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable.
The restaurant was nice and the portion sizes were great. We definitely didn't finish our meal. I know that mask don't need to be worn if fully vaccinated but as a pregnant woman I was uncomfortable with none of the servers or staff wearing mask. While the employees might be fully vaccinated they are encountering hundreds of patrons per day and a vaccination does not prevent them from spreading the virus to others.
Great service (Elvis) excellent prime rib!
Great food and fast service!
Everything was great. We just could have used alittle more room for a highchair & strloller
Very pleasant dining experience. Seated in an outdoor dining area that was private and well laid out, so there was ample space between the tables. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive throughout the meal. Started with a fried calamari appetizer that was excellent. Cooked perfectly and a served with a very nice dipping sauce. I had the filet mignon and my wife had the scampi. Both were fine. Wine pairings by the glass were very good and not expensive. Excellent desert that rounded out a very nice meal. Definitely will go back.
Pleasant atmosphere, we sat outside and service was decent. One plate was unpalatable and was returned and they charged us for it. That was unpleasant. Nonetheless it was an overall great experience to be with family and break bread. I’ll return to give it another try.
Been here over 10 times and never had a bad meal had multiple items in my wife had multiple items in many drinks off the drink menu always a good time great atmosphere
Our table ordered four different meals and all were excellent. The serving sizes were above average and we each took some home for the next day.
The restaurant was quiet during our visit. A former train station houses the restaurant. And it’s a beautiful old building.
The service was attentive without being a pest. It was just right.
Everything was great! From the staff to the food! No complaints!
This restaurant was so much more beautiful and interesting than the pictures posted. I was so very impressed by the decor, the food was delicious, and the service was perfect.
Versatile menu and excellent service, The Station is an excellent option for a casual friendly lunch or a lovely dinner for two.
Food and service were excellent. Great drink specials. We asked for two dishes without one ingredient each (anchovies, mushrooms) and they came out perfect. Portions were very large. We all took home enough for lunch the next day. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive (and funny!) The only issue we had was that they didn’t have our reservation made through Open Table. I had to show them the confirmation email on my phone. Thank goodness they were able to sit us without a problem, although the table was small for 4 adults. I have made reservations for this restaurant through Open Table in the past with no problem. We will definitely be back.
First time there. Very nice. Would highly recommend.
Great service, food is bland. It was very busy
Lovely experience- our server was terrific
Friends together after 14 months
Great stuffed mushrooms, Citrus Sour cocktail was delicious. Great outside dining
Great service and a nice staff. They even celebrated me for my birthday
I was disappointed when my meal came out completely raw. The waitress even said it herself that it was raw. They took it back and threw it back on grill and brought it back out but then the rest of my meal was cold.
The food was just above average
Service was excellent
The restaurant is beautifully decorated
Because of the high ceilings the noise makes it hard for conversation but not awful
Onion soup excellent
Bacon wrapped scallops excellent except over cooked bacon
Whole belly clams excellent
Ribeye tastey but a lot of grizzle
Fried calamari excellent but the marinara sauce not the best
Our table was ready at the scheduled time with minimal waiting. Our server came to the table right away. Maybe too quickly as we had not had a chance to review the drink menu. We asked her for a few minutes and she came back. drinks were served quickly as were our meals. Food was ok. Not a great selection of appetizers but many entrees to choose from.
