Once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world, the restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry with historical photos and a Western Art collection. Established in 1947, The Stockyards has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for 70 years. The Stockyards Restaurant is a great place for celebrating those special moments to just relaxing over a fine meal and good conversation. The service was outstanding and spot on to attention, detail, and courtesy. There is plenty of space for parking and why not hop on the metro if you can as it is just a short walk to the restaurant.

Took some friends with us who have never been here. Everyone loved it. It is so nice in Phoenix to have a place with so much history. Just has a great feel to it. Went for restaurant week and thought is was a good value for great quality food. I have never had a bad meal here, the steak and prime rib are amazing. Tender, done just right. You can't go wrong with the parmesan or baked potatoes, and the pecan pie is the best. Service at Stockyards is also spot on, along with how friendly everyone is. Can't wait to come back.

The waiter John was fabulous. Very polite and explained the menu and some of his favorites as well as one could understand him speaking through his mask. The salad had too much dressing on it but the dressing as very good. The filet was okay..nothing outstanding . My husband had the steak fries ( could have been crispier) and I had the parmesan potatoes which were excellent (thanks to John's recommendation). Pecan pie was VERY GOOD!.. We both had a before dinner drink and my husband had a 9oz pour of Daou..very good. Overall it was a nice experience as we had never been there before and really enjoyed the beauty of the bar area!

Alice makes our meal a wonderful experience whenever she is our server. She is extra conscientious, and always assure us that our meal is timed right and everything comes out perfectly. She is friendly and efficient and never over bearing. Our meal as always was excellent.

Date night on adventures of restaurant week we had the filet and prime rib with a baked potato. The biscuits are everything and the butter. We enjoyed the multiple layer pecan pie and the mouse which was as expected. Drinks we good and the staff what up to par. We enjoy our first time visit and would return during the holidays for the biscuits ;)

It was my first time to visit the restaurant. Invited my daughter and a couple of friends before heading out the Botanical Garden to watch the ballet. The food was very good, the waiter was very professional and courteous. The wine selections were in accordance with the food we ordered. The environment was very nice and calm. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone.

It was my husband's birthday so I made reservations at Stockyards. We have been there before and love the food and service from the wait staff. I would suggest letting the ladies who greet and seat the guests be more friendly.

The food was just okay, quite bland. The biggest disappointment was our server. He was not friendly, I would characterize him as snooty. I do not think he smiled once. Our group noticed the sever in the area told his tables about specials & interacted with his patrons, our server did not. We will not come back & would not recommend the restaurant to others.

Dan was our server and was simply outstanding. His knowledge of the menu, how to select the right steak, and of the history of the Stockyards was superb. He was incredibly friendly and pleasant. My steak was cooked perfectly and the taste was out of this world. Nothing here is cheap, nor should it be, so if you’re on a budget, don’t bother. But if you was a great steak and fantastic service, this is your place.
