   What a treat and a magical experience. We came for the Sunday brunch for my daughters 10th birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful. The selection for the buffet was terrific and we all left delighted and stuffed. You can’t beat the location, the scenery and the decor for the dining room. The service was also fantastic, thank you, Katie!

   Excellent brunch in Banff (maybe the best). The classic breakfast dishes were slightly disappointing but more than made up for by everything else. The brunch includes, coffee, tea, non alcoholic specialty coffees and juice.

   We had a desire to experience the uniqueness of the Vermillion Room, and were not surprised by the introduction of the staff to us as we sat at our appointed table. All staff were pleasant and explained details of our nominated selections. We would highly recommend this venue if you desire some wonderful food and be pampered.

   This is the second time we chose the Vermillion Room Buffet when we are in town. The food was outstanding and a great variety of hot and cold. I am gluten free and there was ample of food to chose from. My favourite was the crème brûlée and the lemon cream puffs! Highly recommended this buffet for everyone!

   Went for Alberta beef and we were not disappointed! There were a couple of large groups, which demanded a lot of attention from our server. However, he made up for it with generous wine pours!

   The prime "Alberta" rib was grisly so I could only eat probably 60% of the cut. The beef tartar was just ok. The asparagus was stringy. Beet salad was just ok, So overall 2cstars for food.

    Service was terribly slow. It took over an hour for us to receive our food. This was the same for the tables around us. Staff is friendly and professional. They must be understaffed. Meal is terribly overpriced for what it is, but it is the Banff Springs Fairmont and to be expected.

    Vermillon serves very good food, beef tartae best of all. Port chop very soft but chicken was a little dry. Service is fast and very attentive. Overall great dining experience.

    Fantastic food and service. We celebrated my birthday at dinner. The staff went the extra mile to make the evening feel special. We went back the next morning for breakfast. The buffet was excellent with many options.

    Mother’s Day celebration so the price per person was high. The food and selection was good for a brunch buffet, but for the price I expected more. Service was excellent, and the surroundings, as always in Banff, were spectacular.

    Mind blown with the albacore tuna dish. What genius concocted this combination?! It’s brilliant and the recommended pairing with sparkling rose was a match made in heaven!

    It was under-whelming to say the least and be charitable. I have been here many times in the past but this was my 1st time after Covid-19. The food spread is mediocre, lacking flavour or taste. As if the real chefs did not come back after Covid-19 and everything is being done by trainees in the kitchen. Not worth it.

    Decided to try the Sunday brunch, underwhelming to say the least. I Was there right when they opened and most of the food was cold or lukewarm. Lots to choose from but very poor execution. Very disappointed since this was my favorite place to visit in banff.

    Have we t to this buffet many times in the past and it was significantly smaller than then. The kids section of chicken fingers and fries and pizza bites etc was gone. Chocolate fountain was gone. An entire buffet section where there used to be cold seafood and cheese was gone and the middle sections that used to hold all the eggs benny was gone. Still a pretty expensive buffet for all that missing now

    We went for Eid celebration for my parents who had never done a special restaurant like this before as a treat. The Vermillion room not only made them feel special and high class but had an entire Halal substitution offering for them with not only 1 but 2 meat options. They were so honored and definitely remembered this as the highlight of their Banff trip. The pictures of I have of my parents after the meal posing with the mountains are some of the happiest I've seen them. Thank you Vermillion Room for making this day for special for my family and a trip they will remember and brag about to their friends for a long time to come.

    Customer service was exceptional as expected at the fairmont. The food and drinks were very good but of course expensive. You can’t beat the views. It’s worth the splurge every once in a while and a great way to experience part of the amazing ambience that Banff Springs has to offer.

    It was our wedding anniversary and we put it on the reservation. I was disappointed the staff didn’t acknowledge it at all but out server was amazing and the food was wonderful overall

    Is brunch expensive here? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely! We celebrated a friend’s birthday and the food was really high quality and delicious. Amazing. But the level of service was even more amazing, with our waiter Neil serving us. His level of service just elevated this experience and made it really special for my friend (and us too).     Service was attentive and the food offered was tasty. The cost is very high at $75cdn per person ($45.00 -$50.00 would be more in line with the size and quality of the choices offered). Would recommend when you want to treat yourself - just because. For two people our bill was $191.00 before tip (cost included 2 mimosas at $16.00 ea).

    The Vermillion Room is our preferred choice for dining or brunch. The wine list offers very good choice as the Martini list does. Very tasty food served buffet style. There’s something for everyone, even for young munchkins. Can’t wait to return this summer or on Thanksgiving Day Weekend.

    I've been to a lot of places for brunch, but this place definitely outclassed many others, right in the rocky mountains, opened patio during the warmer season, their menu has a great selection of dishes to choose from, and if you have a sweet tooth, there's plenty of that to fulfill your satisfaction.
