Service was great! I am in the restaurant business myself, and I thought the FOH teamwork was excellent. The food and it's pricing was great! The only reason I am giving The Vig a 4/5 is just something small: our steak was not cooked to temp (undercooked) and the meal was not very hot (got very cold very quick!). Overall, it was extremely delicious and I would recommend this place 100% ! Definitely coming back! Thanks for your service!

We had lunch, so it was not very busy, so the noise level is an estimate. We ate at the bar. The bar tender was great. The food was excellent.

Good place for breakfast. The service was excellent. I do wish the seating next to the windows were available. It appears that section of the restaurant is closed off for breakfast.

Service was excellent during a very busy time. My Salmon was excellent as well as my wife's burger. We will return again soon. Server Jeff very knowlegable and a great server.

Had never been here previously, mostly because I feel the name is an offensive recollection of a part of Federal Hill we’d like to forget However, the location and presumed ambiance was right so.... Four adults, two children going to PC game at Civic Center. Walking an issue. Parking in Hilton garage was free for diners. Short hop to entrance of Dunken Donuts center, Took reservation on Open Table. Billed as retro sports bar. Why not. Reservation not available when we arrived but was able to show my Open Table confirmation and they found us the perfect table with the perfect young waiter, Tyler D. Who took great care of us. Menu not exciting, dinner wise, but as a sports bar, the apps, salads and hand helped were great. Wine list adequate and limited choices by the glass but what they had was good at a fair price. Out of current character, the draft choices of hundreds of mongrel beers were not available but there was something for everyone. We all enjoyed our food, wine and beer and the incredible play list from 60s to 80s. I guess that’s where “ retro “came in. Great place for a beer and bite before or after an event at the Civic Center. Better make a reservation, though. The place is packed at those times. Appeared to be separate, but connected, dining area for the hotels breakfast buffet. Rest rooms were traditional M&F in the hotel lobby. This could be my Big East stop for this season.

The bar and waitstaff are excellent, they offer prompt and courteous service. The Kennebec Potato Chips with onion dip are a great starter. My wife had the salmon and I had the french onion burger and both game out great. The Vig is an outstanding restaurant, and I know that I'll be back many times in the future.

While the good was okay as we ordered a burger and the flat iron steak. My boyfriend wanted to upgrade his fries to the poutine and was told no but she brought him the potato fries instead and we were up charged for those. Once the food was served we never saw our server again. We had to ask for our check after waiting awhile after our meals were complete. My boyfriend said the burger was good and my steak was cooked perfectly. It was a shame that the service was not up to par. We only visit Rhode Island once a year so unfortunately we will not be returning to The Vig on our next trip. It is in a great location but .....

This is a good spot near the theater and Dunkin Center. In the old Don Shula spot. Food was good not great, service the same. Has a nice decor, good mixed drinks and lots of menu options. Would go back, but it’s not going to blow you away.

We were promptly seated and our waiter Joshua was very professional. Our food was served in a reasonable amount of time and our appetizers (caesar salads) and entrees (salmon and crab cakes) were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend the Vig.

Location couldn’t be better for the Dunkin Donuts Center...add good food & friendly service...you have all you need. I was glad I had made a reservation, for when we arrived the folks in front of us were told it was a 45 minute wait!

Service was excellent but pub food was just not that good. Place was packed because of a concert not a seat to be had. Consider reservations if there is an event downtown particularly with Hamilton in town.

Bar service was outstanding. Ate lunch, dinner and breakfast. Burger and appetizer were great at lunch at the Vig. Dinner service and food were not as good as lunch. Pot roast was yummie but potato and vegetables were very hard. Breakfast service was very good, bacon to greasy, eggs over cooked. Was attending an event at Dunkin donut center and location could not have been better

Great Korean wings and the kale salad was fresh and delicious. The bartender/waiter was friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back on our next foodie getaway.

Big was great! Our group was 4 adults and 1 newborn baby and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. Food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend!

Our party of 9 dined at The Vig following graduation. Staying as guest at the hotel, this couldn't have been more convenient. The food was good...typical pub-style fare. Looking at the dining areas, they didn't seem incredibly busy, yet there was an extremely long wait to get our food, and one of the meals (burger and fries) arrived cold, as if it had been sitting there for a while. Perhaps the kitchen was understaffed... Our waiter (I think his name was Jeff) was a consummate professional- always perceptively there when we needed something. Jeff and the manager offered outstanding customer service and had the burger and fries re-made. Again, the outstanding service made up for everything and we had a pleasant time enjoying the company of family, friends and our new graduate!

Atmosphere is very nice. Upscale pub. The place was very quiet and empty considering we went at 8 PM on a Saturday. The restaurant is in the Hilton hotel, I had not realized that until I drove to the restaurant. $5 to park which is no big deal but almost all other restaurants on Atwells offer free valet. Food was very good, not amazing blow your socks off but very good. The carmel bacon popcorn was very good. The cheese plate was fine but nothing to write home about. My rib eye was prepared nicely. My wife thought the chicken in her chicken sandwich was dry. Overall I am happy with the visit but wouldn't run back.

Food was delicious and service was great. The restaurant was quite nice. Hadn't been before; this was the first time, and was very pleased with the quality of the food, service, and feel of the restaurant (Quiet surrounding, so you can have a conversation with a dinner partner). Delicious comfort food (burgers, steak, sandwiches, etc.) at a reasonable price. Highly recommend before a show at the Dunk. I am already planning my next trip. Had an extremely enjoyable experience.

When we got there, it was empty so we were a little apprehensive about how it was going to be. We ended up staying and ordering and the food was solid. Loved the onion dip. Would definitely go back.

We love The Vig! Great for before any event at The Dunk, or shows a couple blocks away at PPAC. This was our second time visiting, and this time we brought the kids along for a pre-hockey dinner. They loved it, too! Sit in the bar area and enjoy watching the city go by outside through the full-glass wall! We'll be back!

Very good food for those who can eat gluten containing foods ! Need a gluten free menu so we could have more SAFE options for Celiac Disease patrons. CROSS CONTAMINATION risk is high so all I can order is salad and broiled fish or meat, but I will say that when I order these, they are well prepared, tasty, and the plate looks nice. Would like a few more options, however. Many restaurants do this safely and successfully so the dining experience is more interesting and fun for gluten free patrons 😊
