Excellent service. Great food. Busy but not loud.
We are regular visitors to The Warehouse, mostly for brunch but also dinner. We've never been disappointed in the food or the service.
Excellent menu and flavor. Service was solid. Seating is a little bit tight, but not cramped.
Took a friend to The Warehouse to celebrate her birthday. The tables were very close together and the restaurant was very crowded given the uptick in Omicron cases. Our server was not friendly, he stacked our empty plates at the table and slided our steak knives to us. The food was good not great. I had higher expectations for a $400 dinner for 3 people, disappointed.
Amazing as always. Our sever was incredible.
Took my daughter for her 28th birthday. Personable, attentive service. Fantastic drinks. Exquisite New Orleans fare. Small, intimate establishment. Pricey but worth every penny!
Always a great Sunday brunch at the Warehouse!!! We appreciate the exceptional food and efficient service, especially with special requests!
We have never had a bad meal at The Warehouse. This is our favorite restaurant in Old Town. The food is always perfectly prepared and the service is above standard. This time, it was a group of seven for a birthday dinner. I had the horseradish crusted salmon and it was delicious. Everyone loved their food and our server took great care of us. Highly recommend!
One of the best restaurants I visited in a long time! Definitely will be back.
I believe our server's name was Anna? She was from Eritrea. She was super friendly, knowledgeable and made our experience a true joy. The food was delicious. Get the crawfish and crab imperial! So decadent!
Our reservation was for 6 and we got there early and the restaurant was pretty empty. They seated us at a small 2 top with no ambiance. The food was mediocre. The waiter was good. The person who seats needs some training. Will most likely not go back.
Lovely meal, beautifully paced. Amazing that this place continues to be great.
We have been here three times and three times it has been exceptional! The food is spectacular and matched completely by the service. Our kids had not been here before, but everyone said they would now be customers again. We had Benedicts (both Cran Cake and Regular), the Smothered catfish, Nola Brunch, Poboy, Eggs and Corned Beef Hash, and Steak and Eggs. Raves all the way around and I lost count of how many plates were passed by with an exhortation to try. Very well done Warehouse Staff!! You hit it out of the park!!!!
Always a great meal! Portions are amazing.
My favorite restaurant. Food and drinks on point. Well and very seasoned
Prompt service and seated right away. Meal quality is not bad. Portions were perfect.
Our favorite restuarant not only in Alexandria, but in the District.
I had the seafood sampler and it was great--good portions all around and high-quality taste. Definitely one of my favorite date spots in NOVA/DC area. The staff is also extremely nice and attentive.
Unfortunately, we didnt get to experience the food as we were never served. We were seated and THEN questioned whether or not we had a reservation. After confirming our reservation a gentleman came over and reluctantly delivered butter and bread to our table. We then waiting almost 20 minutes for service and still no one ever came to take our orders. The restaurant was not busy, and there were various waiters and hosts waiting on other tables in our section bypassing us consistently, so we decided to go elsewhere.
At this time I can not fairly recommend this restaurant to anyone else.
*As well there were too many people seated in the same area (tables were too close to one another) in the midst of a Pandemic where distancing is strongly encouraged! This further supported our decision to exit!
Celebrated my daughter’s birthday. The couple seated near us were extremely loud with telephone conversations. Our waited was not attentive to our party. Everyone ordered drinks but not all of the drinks made it to the table until after additional inquiries. No a great experience.
I loved the cocktails, food was delicious too
The food was delicious/ superb and served very well!! The Warehouse is my favorite restaurant in Old Town!
The food is always excellent as well as the service. We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal.
Love the place
Lunch menu was a bit limited compared to dinner. Food was not as good as it was in the past for dinner. Jambalaya was lacking flavor, mashed potatoes tasted like instant, and the ribs were some of the worst we’ve had. Our waiter was inattentive and disappeared for periods of time and we had to ask others for assistance. The drinks were good, but this was not a good day for the Warehouse.
I always feel special when I dine at The Warehouse! The food is fabulous. I love Southern Creole food and it is done perfectly here. I especially recommend the She crab soup!
We had a very good time. We will come back and recommend it to others.
We had dined at this restaurant and the food was delicious. Tonight we returned and we ordered the same menu items. Unfortunately, the trout Orleans was tasteless, and there was hardly any crab meat or Hollandaise sauce. My husband’s chicken Caesar salad was not at all tasty. Also, we had to ask three employees to fetch our waiter before he appeared. We will not return to this restaurant, as t there are numerous other choice on King Street.
Excellent experience from booking a reservation to finishing the meal. The food was exceptional and so was our waiter. Perfect setting in old town Alexandria and we will definitely be coming back and coming back with friends.
Went to The Warehouse for a birthday celebration. We had excellent seats next to the window. We wanted to start with a cocktail and ordered martinis. The waiter did not ask us a vodka preference and the speciality cocktails listed all stated decent quality stuff, so we gave it no thought. Big mistake! We were served their rail vodka (Bowmans). The price of each martini could have bought a 1.75L bottle of that stuff!
Then we ordered an appetizer of calamari. It was served warm and all rings which was suspicious. They were tough - I would avoid ordering this here.
We were in to have a good time so we ordered another round of martinis (specified the vodka this time) and the app on their list of specials. Both were a tremendous upgrade! For dinner we had the salmon special and the branzino, both excellent dishes.
Overall I recommend this place, but be careful ordering or you will get a poor experience like ours started out as.
Our table was ready when we arrived. The waiter was attentive, and the food was delicious. There were so many items to choose from that it took me awhile to decide what to order. I loved the trout with shrimp and crab, which was topped with a Hollandaise sauce, and the salad was Alison delicious.
Very ambiance. Went during brunch hours (3pm) but was unaware. Would've liked to try dinner. Would try again.
Always top notch food and service!
My party of 4 was seated at a very small table. We couldn't all even have our menus open at the same time without hitting each other. We ordered a bottle of wine and the glasses were dirty! The waiter was not attentive and even forgot part of our order. The food was ok... Nothing spectacular. Very disappointed in the overall experience. I will not be going back.
Food was okay, however, I was expecting something to make the restaurant stand out. When we arrived, we stood for approximately 10 minutes be before acknowledgement and someone seating us to a table. Overall, atmosphere and servers were very good.
Food was good. I ordered the shrimp Diane
Sunday brunch at 9:30. Everything was perfect, especially the pecan encrusted chicken and strawberries and cream!
Had a wonderful time and the food was great! We had a party of 10 and the service was amazing.
