   celebrated a friend’s birthday dinner there. our server, matt, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time! the purple rain cocktail was soooo good, steak tacos were delicious, and a great playlist was playing in the background. 💯

   Came here for Taco Tuesday and was greeted by the charismatic and lively Marquis who also was our server. The Tacos were delicious as were the hand cut fries. I will definitely be back to try the steak tacos!!!

   We went for dinner on Sunday evening after making reservation The waitress was very nice and let accommodate us at a table We order 2 negronj cocktails and they were absolutely terrible and overpriced for what we had They both were watery and tasted like gin I wasn’t even able to finish it. We left after 20 min as the experience with drink was an absolute fail so we decided to go somewhere else for dinner plan Save your money and don’t come here

   Nice little spot….food was ok for the price. Unfortunately the service was slow….we suspect that he was a rookie and a lot of drama session talk between the staff while we were waiting for our drinks

   The food was excellent and the staff were capable and friendly. Hummus appetizer was excellent. Greek salad was excellent. Fish tacos and beef tacos were both excellent.

   Ordered the calamari, steak & fries, and mushroom ravioli. The calamari was good. Steak (ordered medium) was raw. Mushroom ravioli was bland. Server took 15+ minutes to come back and check on the table. Steak was sent back and cooked some more. Was returned to the table (blood wiped off the plate) and was bland and terribly tough. Service was very slow, and the restaurant was not busy. On a positive note, the staff did bring us a round of drinks on the house. But it was too little too late, after the poor food and neglectful service. At that point, we just wanted to leave. Overall, a disappointing experience.

    Terrific attentive service! Best hummus I have ever had outside of the Middle East! Only flaw was no decaf coffee or dealcoholized beer. Very comfortable booth. Will be back.

    Food was great! Our waiter was awesome as well. Looks like there was a company event going on and was quite loud, not sure if this is normal for this place; but overall would definitely visit again.

    The atmosphere and decor were neat So many staff (we counted 6 including bar tender) and yet the service was not great. I was still eating and so was my companion and the server wanted to take away my plate. And then when we had finished eating it took a while for someone to clear our plates, even though a couple of staff walked by. Beer list was disappointing and the draft beer Goose Island was going flat. In The women’s washroom for some reason the top of the toilet was missing, the lid to cover all the mechanisms. Not very nice to look at. The food was tasty though the fries were quite greasy. It was a nice place to check out and we will likely not return.

    Definitely a place for socializing. The food was cold. Took almost an hour for the food. Service was slow. But the atmosphere and music was awesome. I’ll go back for drinks for sure. Dinner? Not so much.

    Energetic is an interesting category. We were seated in the bar area as the dining room had large noisy groups then a group of Christmas decorated pub crawlers, some of whom were seated in the dining room, came in and the noise level went from "energetic" to "can't hear yourself think". Fortunately we were about to leave then and the food and service were great. Lesson: Avoid Christmas party times if possible.

    Made a reservation for a standard table as I hate high tops. When we arrived, the hostess (who was lovely) told us she was going to clean off a high top for us. I told her we had requested a standard and she went back to who I assume was the manager, who was about two feet away from us. He said it didn’t say that and we could only have the high top. It was a little weird that he didn’t come talk to us or even apologize, since he was right beside us. He was being rude to the hostess who was just trying to help us. There were so many empty tables and booths up until we left. No one ever checked on us. We managed to order one drink and food. Never managed to get a second drink. The food was good so compliments to BOH. The restaurant is so beautiful so it was just disappointing.

    Server wasn’t good, our bill was charged more than what was ordered and when we went to discuss the bill, we were challenged and nothing was resolved. After dinner, it becomes full of very drunk university students and the atmosphere becomes a huge turn off.

    Huge disappointment. Second rate ingredients. Miss match between menu and serving (I.e. tacos with rice and coleslaw became tacos with fries). Burgers were over cooked and over salted. Dinner for 3 (no alcohol) came to 170. Terrible, terrible value.

    Our waiter came to our table a total of 4 times throughout our entire visit. He did not get the waters that we requested as soon as we sat down until we had asked two times for them (40min delay to get waters). We were served food that we waited close to an hour for (6 tacos and some fries) and then it was cold… Our waiter did not come to see how the food was and we had to ask another waiter so we could get our bill. It would have been one thing if the restaurant was crazy busy and we saw him running around, we would understand but we did not even see him out on the floor very often. We were very excited going in and very disappointed leaving. I do believe the restaurant has potential and maybe our waiter was having a bad day? Unfortunately though it made for a very unenjoyable time.

    I had high hopes given other reviews but was disappointed. I ordered a mojito and it tasted terrible (too much syrup, not enough mint) and when I sent it back and asked for a vodka soda instead, I’m almost certain the mojito was partially poured into the new glass with a bit of club soda added. I was not pleased. The food was ok - squid was good but the pasta dishes were standard, nothing special. Overall we were unimpressed and will not return.

    Overall, I had a blast at this place. Our server was so accommodating and made sure we got what we needed and brought his charm to all my friends. The food was good. The vibe was great. The only thing is, I preferred better music. I’m not a big fan of techno remixes but to each their own. If they ever have old school or hip hop nights, it would be great to announce what DJ is coming.

    Was able to accommodate a large group - much appreciated. Great setup with booths and chairs that made it easy to talk to friends. Service by two servers were at different levels. Food came out much quicker for one server even though orders were taken at relatively the same time… not the biggest deal BUT. When food did come out, different plates were used from one server to the next and portions varied greatly from one server to the next. This was our pain point of the evening - it felt like some people got a kids meal whereas others got proper portions for the price. We mentioned this and they said it was the same, but those that got their food 5-10 minutes after finished their meals before the other table (and they had food to spare). Besides that, overall great experience.

    Tuna crudo was delicious, the rest was meh. Fish and chips was the worst I've ever had. Restaurant is cold and eggy small that hits you in the face when you walk through the doors.

    Great service and the red pepper hummus was delicious but too many potatoes on my pineapple chicken dish. We were sitting by the speaker which was a little too loud making it difficult to have a conversation without yelling. The servers were fun and outgoing!

    The chicken was dry, best to stick with the pub food basics: fish & chips, or burgers. In the winter it's quite cold when seated next to those old windows.
