A great spot for dinner pre-theatre. All of our meals were excellent. A creative menu made deciding difficult, but our server provided great recommendations. We will be coming back.

Really enjoyed their cocktail and food menu. Lots of great vegan options. The tempura is vegan and the mushroom risotto was delicious. The service was okay but I think the server was new and didn’t know the menu when I asked simple questions about the cocktail menu. Will definitely be back!

I always like taking clients to the Wednesday room. The meal is always delicious, and the ambiance is great. Connection to the decor from the shining is also a great conversation starter and also high “cool” factor. Much recommended!

Warm and comfortable environment where you can feel yourself relax and enjoy the delicious food and drinks without being rushed in and out! Definitely try the old fashioned. Best one I’ve ever had!

Unfortunately, Friday Night’s experience was rather disappointing. The food and atmosphere were lovely. The service was ‘meh’ our server definitely didn’t read the table. We found it quite insulting that when we paid she didn’t even say ‘thank you’ or have a ‘nice evening’. We certainly weren’t demanding, and it wasn’t super busy.

Had a quick business meal and everything exceeded my expectations. Our server Holly is a gem and her recommendation of the stuffed pappardelle pasta dish with the Flat Rock Chardonnay was a perfect match.

We really enjoyed the 60s ambience and the Burrata and tomato salad was excellent. Another vegan main course choice would be nice. The dish titled Roasted Mushrooms was actually a large arugula salad. Just FYI.

Wonderful atmosphere - cozy but bustling and staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly. Food & drinks were very good and had some fun, unique items and some for thebless adventurous. Our server had a little hiccup but gracefully righted the error and was lovely! Very enjoyable night out!

Super fun space with both delicious looking and tasting food. The Pork Belly Bao (2023-10) was a $15 powerhouse and the unsuspecting star of my dinner. Will return without hesitation for more than just a special occasion.

Outstanding food and service. We opted to share five dishes and they were all excellent (burrata, asparagus, broccolini tempura - Fried Pecorino and fried chicken was so good, I would have ordered them twice if I wasn’t so full). Server was great and seemed to read our minds and also did not rush us. I’ll be back soon.

The ambience is excellent, albeit a little noisy when there are large tables nearby. I also found the background music was a little too loud. Service quality was quite good. A little too frequent checking on us early, but that tailed off later on. Cocktails were excellent, and the small wine selection still provided some nice options!. Food was also very good.

Ended up having a great meal but after many confirmations- email, text, phone call - they lost my reservation. They did seat us but not in the main restaurant, which was disappointing after making a reservation over a week ahead. I would try again though, stuff happens!

Awesome evening downtown. Definitely recommend. Really cool atmosphere and great food and drinks. Love that you can’t get any clues as to what the restaurant is from outside, then once inside and downstairs it’s a hidden gem.

Love sitting downstairs at this place. The tomato & burrata was lovely as were the popcorn and the dirty fries. Duck was a little tough, but halibut seemed to enjoyed by all who ordered. Great local beer list and some nice wines by the glass, Our server Hannah was amazing.

Our server Odie was very good. She kept us in line, ensured we were ordered, watered, and fed in time to make our show! Very cool vibe in the basement! Pork Schnitzel was awesome, same with the Bao buns! Loved it will definitely come back.

We have always enjoyed Wednesday Room as a go to before we attend an event at the CPO or Theatre Calgary. This year did not disappoint. The bar tender (we meant to get his name) explained his signature drinks which were delicious. The menu has some new interesting meals for all tastes and budgets. It is obvious that all the staff enjoy their roles and go that extra mile to make our experience enjoyable. We will be back.

The vibe and the food are outstanding here. The music was an amazing soundtrack of 70's soul and funk. The expos romance and explain the dishes when they arrive at your table. The food is well balanced, taking classic dishes and adding just enough of their own complexity to make it new again. But sadly, having our server ignore us for 45 minutes at the end of the night when we needed to pay and leave was very disappointing. Needing to ask an expo, a host, or a manager to get our bill, and then to see our server recognize that my CC was out and ready to pay, only to be further ignored is pretty rough, and makes recommending this place harder. I don't want my friends feeling as useless as I did.

All style, no substance. The venue looks amazing! The food was mediocre. So sad. I hoped this would be one of my new favorite restaurants, but the food was boring, bland and poorly executed. (Watery sauces, lack of flavour/spices, very basic offerings) My kids have made better meals with Hello Fresh kits.

Me and my partner have been coming here for close to 3years now and it’s always been amazing,right from the time you are greeted by the hostess until you leave. Our server was Ethan and did a great job being the upstairs bartender as well as our server. He was busy but still was able to come and check on us about the experience. Don’t remember the name of our hostess who sat us(sorry), she was lovely too and accommodated us for inside seating even thou we had booked a patio seating. We had mushroom tartare, fried chicken, pork belly Bao, tres leches and the baklava ice cream. Everything was delicious as it has always been. Shoutout to the kitchen crew. We also want to give a special shout-out to Malachai(sorry if I spelled it wrong). She was amazing and made sure we had a great time. She made sure our water glasses were always full ( which very rarely happens in restaurants where water is poured table side ). Thank you for the lovely meal,drinks and service. Until next time

19% automatic gratuity for a group of 6 is not reasonable. Service was average at best. Spending over $700 as a group waiting way far too long for servers to come and take additional drink orders or the original food order, servers looking inconvenienced we are even there and paying 19%?

The food was incredible, we had the popcorn and chicken fried mushrooms to start it was soooo yummy. And then for entrees we had the Wagyu burger and clam linguini both of those choices were incredible. For dessert we had the baklava ice cream cake it was so flavourful we loved it. We will definitely be coming back here to try more things, we also loved the ambience of the place it was a really cool vibe.
