Beautiful place! Ambience & service were 5 star! Feta fig hot sip & Floroda Girl salad were outstanding!! The mashed potatoes, asparagus & carrots were perfect. Unfortunately, our steak was ordered medium & came out overdone, medium well. The lobster was overcooked & rubbery. This was disappointing. The dessert was delicious! We enjoyed our time, despite the disappointing overcooked steak & lobster. Teachable moment. We will be back. Thanks!

We always love to dine at WM! Last night was exceptional & a perfect evening with family after the Thanksgiving chaos! Christine is a fantastic server and we always appreciate it when we get her to help us for the evening! The cobia special was outstanding as was the grouper, flounder & steak!

We’d been here a year ago and it was beyond wonderful. We were so excited to return but it was only so-so this time. The food was fine but not great, the prices were expensive and the portions were ridiculously huge. There is something unappetizing about a huge pile of rice and a massive hunk of fried fish you know you can’t possibly eat. There was live music outside that made conversation inside challenging and overall it was a disappointing evening. Our guests, who had never been before, thought it was good but we kept remembering the amazing meal we’d had a year ago. I asked what happened because I had heard they had closed for a while shortly after our first visit and they told us they had changed management and chefs which I guess explains it. A real pity, though.

Place was not crowded but still we had to “wait” for out table to be “made” ready. Ceiling fans were on high speed and AC was blasting very cold which would be great for 90 degree weather but it was early evening in November. . . Was fearful our dinner would be served and instantly turn cold. Tempura Lobster appetizer AMAZING; however our salads showed up before our appetizer so we sent the salads back to the kitchen. We specifically said “don’t rush” serve one course at a time but that did not happen. Fish very fresh - large portions. Overall we will go back and try it again - - some nights are just “off” this was one of them.

Have been there several times but this time was BAD. Manager was verbally abusive after telling her the food was salty and not getting our food on time. Absolutely the worst the service! As we were leaving she was outside going to a vehicle to meet someone for an item. I hope the owner will review the cameras. Own several properties in Port Saint Joe. Will never visit there again and so will my guests and clients.

The 4-6 oz filet was end cut ; tough and chewy. My husband should have sent back ; The menu reads “ center cut” . We spent a lot of money this night for “medium” Cuisine. Not a fan of the rice type pasta served with entree. The grouper was very good;

The food was good. My husband’s dish (grouper) was exceptionally good. I believe our server was inexperienced. I ordered my entree (crab cakes) from the patio menu rather than the starter menu so that it would come out the same time as my husbands entrée. But they brought mine out as a starter. Which means my entrée was there 20 minutes before my husband’s. After dinner I asked to see the cocktail menu again. I waited for a really long time and had kind of given up on the idea of ordering another drink when all the sudden the server comes back with a repeat of the same drink that I had ordered the first time. Never got to look at the menu… I drank it and didn’t say anything but I was disappointed because I wanted to switch it up. My first cocktail was just so-so and I wanted to choose something else. The biggest plus of this place is the spectacular view. The sunset view is amazing and the vibe on the patio is very cool. In my opinion, the music selection and sound quality of the music could be improved upon and could really upscale the vibe. We would go back. The facility is beautiful and upscale and the bar area looked very cool and inviting. It’s indoor/outdoor. The wine selection looked impressive but we didn’t order. Heard from other family members that the Keylime pie was disappointing, so did not order dessert. Overall, go for the spectacular view, the lovely facility, good food, and the cool bar (if you want to visit one). Hope for improvement with service and some tweaking with the music/vibe.

The White Marlin was a pleasant surprise - fine dining in a decidedly casual locale. My meal was delicious and beautifully plated, staff was well-trained and appropriately attentive. The wine selection was nice as well. I think what I enjoyed most was the decor incorporating oyster shells beautifully into the bar & entry light fixture. Given the proximity of the bay, it tied the restaurant with its natural surroundings.

Absolutely amazing food! Beautiful restaurant & top notch service too. Pricing is a little high to comparable restaurants but not to the point that it would keep us from returning. We will definitely return next year during our annual Cape San Blas trip!

When we walked in we thought this was going to be really nice, gray atmosphere and nice relaxing music playing. We asked to sit outside. We were seated and the waitress came took our order and said she’d bring us bread. We then noticed the music on the deck was more like what you hear in a Mexican restaurant. Hubby ordered baked oysters and got raw ones, never got the bread- but it looked great from what I saw on everyone else’s table.

This place is amazing! Great food. Great service, and great atmosphere right on the water. We are staying on Cape San Blas for Fall Break and our Anniversary! The White Marlin was the perfect choice for a nice dinner!

Great restaurant! Exactly what Cape San Blas needed. We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early. We were immediately greeted and our patio table was ready. The full menu was available to order from (Patio Plates and Fine Indoor Dinning). Service was excellent, food was great, bar menu was great and the ambiance was perfect. The coconut crusted grouper was huge and excellent! We ate dinner during the sunset and the views were outstanding. Our dining was so good, we made reservations 2 nights later. Same result as our first dining.

The White Marlin is the perfect spot for a romantic, higher-end dinner. The service is top-notch, the food is spectacular, and the atmosphere is amazing. We had the crab cakes, oysters, coconut grouper, and octopus. Everything was delicious, and we’d order it all again.

We went for our anniversary and sat on the patio. Both menus were being served which was nice. The view was unbelievable- got to see the sunset. Our waitress was amazing, food delicious and cocktails fabulous. We are heading back for a second time during our 1 week trip. Highly recommend.

Right to the point: beautiful restaurant; great ambiance; casual; great cocktails; and great service. Now to the food. Dinner starts with melt-in-your-mouth bread braid. My Caesar Salad was the definition of that classic salad. One person had baked oysters (perfectly prepared and seasoned). Another had the shrimp and grits (very innovative presentation and great taste. Two of us had the herb crusted red snapper (cooked to perfection with very flavorful seasonal vegetables). One had the coconut crusted grouper with Caribbean rice. I had a taste and it was truly one of the most delicious foods I have ever tasted. The coconut crust was cooked to a light crust around a piece of fish that was perfectly moist and today-fresh. The Caribbean rice was an outstanding combination of flavors. I've used way too many superlatives for a food review, but they earned it!
