About
Our table all ordered the Eloralicious feature tea and really enjoyed it. The space is beautiful and the staff are incredibly accommodating. A lovely afternoon.
Took a friend for her birthday and we had a lovely time. Can't wait to visit again.
What a gem in Elora!
The best of Europe in our little village.
Bravo!
Lovely environment and delicious afternoon tea. Nice to have a local tea house again.
Great food and tea. Beautiful place to enjoy with some friends and family. Had to wait about 30 minutes to get the bill and no refill was offered on tea.
What a wonderful elegant afternoon tea with fresh and fancy patisserie! What a fabulous find in Elora.
Fabulous desserts. Works of art!
The scones and associated condiments were delicious. In particular, I really enjoyed the cheese scones!
The staff were polite, engaging and attentive.
I’ll be back soon with my family and more friends!
Absolutely pleased with our visit here. The food was amazing, and the customer service was above a beyond!
Fantastic place, the afternoon tea was seasonal and first rate. As they were closing for a two week period the day after they had limited options left but were more than happy to add/amend their afternoon tea to supplement it. Really nice staff and the choice of tea and desserts were great. The croque monsieur was amazing!!!
Highly recommend and another great place to visit in Elora!
Friendly, welcoming service, delicious quiche, and beautiful presentation. The children’s afternoon tea was so well done, complete with a “decorate your own cupcake” and the cutest macaroon!
Was disappointed that the Classic Afternoon Tea had been removed from the menu to be replaced with the more expensive Christmas Afternoon Tea. From checking the menus online ahead of time I would have preferred the traditional sandwiches etc of the classic tea. Instead I tried the smoked salmon from the light fare menu and did not enjoy it. The meal was cold, including the watery egg laid on top of the salmon, and the accompanying herbal creme was tasteless. However, the decor is modern and comfortable, the staff very nice and helpful, and the desserts were rewardingly decadent. The special hot apple cider spiked with gingerbread rum was delicious. Will give this place another try...
We had high tea -excellent service & food. Would have liked some fruit -too many sweets
First off, we are so happy that The Wild Tart opened up - as we were sad to see The Secret Garden go. We were very pleased with the service, food and ambiance that The Wild Tart presented. The hostesses were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious... a perfect balance of sweet & savoury. The scones didn't keep their warmth, but were very tasty all the same. (maybe we were taking forever, savouring the other bites on the trays). I think they could have a few more tea selections on the menu, but that said, we were very happy with the ones we selected - 1) berry 2) peach 3) pear (I can't remember their names exactly). They were very sweet to have brought out a special little birthday treat for my daughter's birthday... yummy chocolate truffles. Sooo good. After our meal... our hostess even took us upstairs to see how they'd updated it -- very impressed. I absolutely love the decor on both floors - a bit mid-century, modern w/ a hint of dainty with little details. The long turquoise bench, the green sofa set upstairs + the rustic custom-made tables, give a warm welcome to guests. I just can't wait until next summer, to sit out back & enjoy high tea or lunch there. Kudos all around.
The food was excellent. Very disappointed in the change of decor! Service was over the top, meaning everything was served too quickly, eg. Water, wine and coffee. We asked to have our scones reheated as they had cooled by the time we were ready to eat them. Friendly, helpful staff.
The Wild Tart is a great re-boot to The Secret Garden tea room. Love the new ambiance and seating. It's cozy and modern/upscale. We had a fantastic time and were greeted warmly by the staff when we arrived. We were running a tad late, but called in about 15 minutes prior to when we were expected to let them know. Our party had the classic tea and a savoury tea -- they were both outstanding. Great care has been taken by the chef to ensure everything is fresh, flavourful and presented beautifully. We'll be back!
Consider using English style clotted cream rather than whipped cream for scones(which were delicious)
A must when in Elora, great service, great food from Savoury to Sweet, and the wine list top notch
We had reservations on opening day. We were greeted right away and made to feel very comfortable. We had one special Thanksgiving tea and a Classic tea. Both were exceptionally delicious.
Our server was friendly and accommodating.
We can’t wait to go back!
