    The Wilde is excited to be hosting a special Winemaker's Dinner. Zorzal Vineyards and Winery Mendoza, Argentina was founded in 2007 by a group Calgary-based investors and produced its first vintage in 2008. The special guest for this evening is Zorzal's winemaker, Jaun Pablo Michelini from Tupungato, Argentina. Embark on a journey into the captivating realm of Argentinian wine, perfectly paired with a delectable Five Course Menu meticulously crafted by Executive Chef, Josh Dyer and his culinary team. $250 per person plus additional tax and gratuity. Upon booking the restaurant will charge a $50.00 non refundable deposit that will go towards the full cost of the dining experience. Dinner starts 7pm sharp. Please see menu tab for full menu.

    Great bar. Service is impeccable from the hotel lobby to the entire staff at the restaurant. Liquor selection is decent. I’m personally more of a tequila sipper so when a bar has Fortaleza then it’s outstanding. Upscale vibe.

    Would not recommend. Far overpriced for the quality of food and service. While the service was okay, it wasn't professional - very casual with no sophistication. Food presentation was far better than the actual quality. There are far too many other great restaurants in Calgary to spend money here.

    Everybody was very polite, delightful and professional. The service was the best, food was done exquisitely and the timing of each dish was perfectly paced. One of the best dining experiences we have had. It is definitely a place everyone should try at least once. I gave it a 4 star for ambience due to the decor portrayed a very cold feeling which is how some modern decor is now days. The chef did a phenomenal job in preparation and presentation. My only concern was trying to find parking as the parking lot next to hotel was barricaded off. Had to drive all around to get a spot. Not good when can’t walk distances. Thank you for a great experience.

    Delectable food with exquisite presentation. Everything we ordered was superb: the veggie charcuterie board, the bison appetizer, the trout, the halibut, the banoffee mousse dessert. . . all amazing. And the staff went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions. A beautiful meal--so enjoyable. Highly recommend.

    Very little option for the price. Food was cold, oysters were not fresh, they also had a limit of 2 per customer, how inconvenient to go get up and get otesters after every two bite. Overall poor value of money, will not be returning

    I celebrated my birthday with 6 of my friends at The Wild. We had a fantastic time. The whole staff welcomed us and took care of our table the whole evening. There was a card on the table signed by everyone wishing me a happy birthday upon arrival. Our delightful server Denise went above and beyond by providing us with some of the chefs tasting menu and they even provided us with these exquisite chocolate bonbons after dessert. The food presentation, potion and flavour was delicious and unique, every plate is an experience! Arjun was the resident photographer/host and helped us take some stunning photo on their sky view patio. Needles to say from the beginning to the very end they provided a stellar dinner service and this was not the first and definitely won’t be the last time I dine with them.

    I came for lunch and found it uncomfortable sitting near the windows. I wore sunglasses inside it was so bright. The service was I guess too good. The server seemed to come back every 5 minutes and would say excuse me over and over. She was friendly and did a good job it was just hard to have a discussion.

    Jason was our server and was amazing. The food and cocktails were fantastic. I wish we could have sat on the patio but is on the smaller size and was already booked. This is the second time I have been abd never disappoints.

    I had a reservation for the seven-course meal, and while the wait time for the food was longer than expected, the overall experience was still quite enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. Plus, the restaurant's scenic view added a wonderful ambiance to the evening. Despite the wait, I would still recommend this place for its exceptional cuisine and pleasant atmosphere.

    Wonderful fine dining experience! Definitely not for picky eaters or for children. Was amazing for our honeymoon experience. Be prepared for a slow dining experience (we were there for 3 hours and we did NOT do the chefs tasting menu). I absolutely loved my entree of the beef; and my husband loved his elk. The lobster starter was lovely, but the oysters were not good. They were high quality but I didn’t like the pickled stuff on top of them. It was just too much. The drink with activated charcoal was AMAZING though, as were both of their varieties of old fashioned. Serious was par none. We would recommend this to adventurous eaters looking for a unique fine dining experience!

    Way overpriced for the quality of food/drinks you get ($37 for a 9 oz glass of mediocre wine is excessive, IMO). My husband ordered oysters (which he liked), then we each ordered an entree which took over one hour from when we ordered, it was not worth the wait… overcooked prawns on salty fish, and elk that was cooked medium well vs medium rare that they recommended. We were starving, so ate most of the meal, but honestly for the level of fanfare they advertised, it missed the mark. Server (Ximena) was professional and friendly, and did offer us a discount on our meal because everything went wrong, which made it more bearable and we appreciated. But overall, the meal was definitely not worth what we paid (even with the discount)

    We ordered oysters which were excellent, the halibut, the lobster and shared cannoli for dessert. The halibut was a generous portion, and the presentation was beautiful. The lobster was served in a small caviar tin topped with caviar tiny potato pieces and served with bellinis. This dish was very small for the cost at $56 and disappointingly salty. A lobster Thermidor at major Tom was around the same price and far more enjoyable. The bar drinks were well presented and tasted very nice. The cannoli was a light dessert. The service was good. Would we come back? Yes. Would I order the lobster again. No

    Great food, would love to try again because the food was so good, but I really hope we caught an off night with the service level. I was not impressed paying the price I did with the level of service we were provided. Missed items, pouring our own wine. Nice touch with the anniversary card but it was extremely slow when we were early for our reservation. Total tine was almost 3 hours.

    The view is stunning (make sure you ask to be seated by the window when making a reservation). Food was amazing! We were given extra, bite size food on top of our order for free. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE “BEEF” OPTION! I’d recommend setting aside about 3-4 hours as the food took some time to come out. Great for date night or to celebrate your anniversary. It starts getting a little louder around 10pm.

    Nice idea. It fell short of the expectation of being up on the 27th floor. Nicoise salad with the tuna seemed odd—flavour-wise. A 6 oz glass of $22 rose… I still think is ridiculous. I’ll try it one more time at night as we went Saturday afternoon… there was a gaggle of women at a table—imagine if the Resturant was full! Dorian Hotel … who ever designed it-didn’t get the vibe of the ultra billionaire’s sophistication that Mr. Grey portrayed.

    Restaurant on top floor of the newly opened Dorian Hotel, interior decor is artistic, seating between tables is spacious. Cooking is creative and tasty. Will definitely revisit on my next trip to Calgary.

    We stay at this hotel when we come to visit our kids. This was the first time we took the time to enjoy Wilde on 27. It was absolutely amazing, when you go to a restaurant like this one you go for the experience, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! Staff and food were above and beyond! I am a bit timid when it comes to food and my husband is up for anything.. we did the chefs tastings and both of us left with our expectations exceeded. I can not say enough.. we will be back again and again.

    Food presentations were incredible. The accompaniments on the Elk and Duck were very tasty. The elk was a very nice treat and cooked to perfection.
