Located on the west side of Billings, the Windmill/Bar 51 is a fantastic place to wind down from a hectic day. Casual fine dining, happy hour, full bar & best patio in town! We leave the patio to first come, first served. We do not reserve the patio.

Great service and all the food was pretty fantastic… steak that’s amazing and the broasted chicken was surprisingly good

The staff at Windmill are very attentive and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food. We went twice this week!

We had an excellent time at The Windmill. We sat on the patio and they accommodated our two French bulldogs. The staff was amazing and even brought our dogs bowls of water. Would highly recommend.

The food was good. I would avoid the lobster stuffed mushroom appetizer since it's heavily breaded and the stuffing is mainly cream cheese - No lobster comes through. For some strange reason they choose not to publish prices for their cocktails. Our server seemed a little put out, and was hard to track down towards the end of the meal.

I have eaten at the new Windmill several times and so since it was my birthday I chose it as the place to celebrate. I had the sirlion steak which was cooked just right, was tender and full of flavor. The other members of our group had the Windmill Prawns which the restaurant is well known for. I also had 2 of them as a side. The breading and the prawns were delicious and seasoned just right. We also had salads and they gave us a brownie with huckleberry ice cream since it was my birthday. Definately recommended if you are in Billings MT and want a great place to dine.
