    Enjoy a special "Date Night" for the Emerald Ridge Jaguars Footbal Club on September 24th at The Windmill Bistro and enjoy a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef Bruce Patterson. Guests will have a choice of either a House or Caesar Salad to start. Entree choice of either Roasted Chicken or Short Rib with Sour Cream and Chive Mashed Potatoes. Guest must choose one salad and one entree. Enhance your dinner by purchasing a special private label wine that the Bistro offers and perhaps take home a few extra bottles to enjoy at home or gifts for the holidays, Reservations will be for 1 hour and 30 minutes so as to allow for as many people to participate in the fundraiser as possible. Additional Beverages available for purchase at event.

    This was our second time at the Windmill Bistro and we will definitely be back. The service was great and the food was likewise very good. The place has a casual vibe but the quality is top notch. Definitely recommend.

    We’ve been to the Bistro several times when we just wanted a good meal in a wonderful environment. Other times it was for special occasions and celebrations. We celebrated birthdays and also finding out we were cancer free. Over and above everything is the customer service. Incredible servers. Our favorite is Jake. He takes the effort to create a really enjoyable experience. We’ve never had a bad or even adequate meal. Always top shelf and always delicious. Finally let’s not forget the blood Orange margaritas.

    We had a delightful evening at the windmill bistro. My husband thought that the fish and chips was the best that he has had in the area. Crisp, not at all greasy and great fries. My salmon was good & enough for 2 meals for me. Service was good. We will definitely return!

    The atmosphere was great , we ate outside and it was perfect. The food and drinks were good , had a crab open face sandwich and a gin drink was great . The service was good also . I recommend this place to eat .

    Make a reservation! You wouldn’t think it driving by, although the flowers and grounds are beautiful in season. Hamburger is just right, watermelon salad is delicious, corned beef hash just right, lobster salad is a yummy surprise. The bar drinks are hearty, ok so go to Happy hour and be happy! Then eat food and walk home. Whatever you have to do, try out this Sumner valley not hidden gem. Find specials on their instagram.

    We loved it so much. We went back the next day. All of us absolutely loved everything that we got. Next time I’m going to get someone else to drive so I can take advantage of the mimosa float.

    Ravioli dish was bland. NY steak overpriced for amount of food. Atmosphere outside is good, but inside is lacking.

    Fancy for Sumner, ordered corn beef hash that was cold, very unimaginative dish, dry potatoes, corned beef chunks and poached eggs. Server was nice and asked how food was but could not make a scene with my guests. The other dishes at the table were bland looking, not impressed.
