Just as advertised. Solid bbq food experience
Best bbq north of the Mason dixon! A must if you love comfort food...
Food was average but setting was definitely pub style
Only 3 times in my life have I been sad that a restaurant was too far away to add the meal to my list of favourite regulars. This was the third. There are no words to explain how yummy this meal was. You’ll just have to check it out yourself.
Food was sooooo fantastic. Made my teenage boys very happy!!! Best birthday ever for my super hungry 14 year old boy!! Amazing smoked ribs and wings on one plate!!!
Great service. Nice atmosphere. AMAZING food! Definitely try the tasty platter...it was worth every penny. And the homemade smoked apple crisp was to die for. EAT HERE! You won't be disappointed 😀
The service was great. We ordered the Meatery Platter and it was just right for two. The Apple crisp was incredible.
Have wanted to go there for a while now, was disappointed with a few things such as the ambiance, as well as the fact the beverages were served in a plastic cup not a glass, when paying those prices for a meal should have been drinking from a glass, If we were to go back it would just be for the meat only, the appatizers were not very good, however the smoked beef brisket and the chicken wings were the best that I've ever had, a few small corrections and this would have been a great outing
Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is a cut above other restaurants, delicious and plenty of it, no skimping here.
Made a reservation for 7. Table was ready right on time. Server came over immediately and introduced himself. Drinks were ordered and brought out quickly. Cornbread for the table was quick to arrive but wasn’t the best cornbread I have had. Food was ordered and brought out quickly as well. The sauce guide helped us decide which ones to try. All our food was delicious! Bbq brisket sandwich was delicious as was the chicken sandwich. I ordered a salad instead of fries or other less healthy options and was charged extra for trying to stay healthy ( servier advised of this beforehand but still a peeve of mine) kids burger was tiny but tasty. We will definitely be returning to The Smoke when in town
The BBQ was fantastic! I don’t think I’ve ever had better pulled pork! The drinks are a bit pricey at $8 a pint, but the food was reasonably priced. I’d definitely go back!
Amazing food and really attentive and friendly service. Great experience all around!
Great service and food. You won’t leave hungry!
Absolutely outstanding service with great food - each time we attend!
Great Place, Good Food and Service is Outstanding.
The food was fantastic as always. My favourite was still the ribs.
We made reservations for a busy Saturday evening & were seated the moment we arrived. Server was fantastic: attitude & attentiveness was just right! Food was delish and portions a bit big, but who REALLY wants desert anyways lol.
Definitely recommend to anyone. Very positive experience.
Not only are the BBQ meats delicious, but all the sides are equally well-prepared. They take a lot of pride in the quality of their food. Friendly service, fair prices and large portions.
Great food but bring back smoked salmon🤨 We used to make this a tradition but no more
We were there for Mothers Day dinner. Menu has a great selection. Our waitress Sam was wonderful and the food was perfect.
If you like barbeque this place is for you. I have never had a bad meal here.
Great comfort food and wonderful BBQ. Good suggestions from waitress. A good place for kids too.
What an awsome experience. The food was amazing. We had the chef platter for 2 and it was delicious.
Try the smoked trout soooooo good. Others had the veggie burger and the portobello mushroom burger. Everyone was very happy with their vegetarian meal.
We always have a great meal at a great price.. love The Smoke.. well done guys
Great service from our wait staff. Food was pretty Good, we've had better, but I'd definitely go back.
My son and I got to the restaurant at 8PM on a Saturday night and were informed at the door that they were out of ribs. OUT OF RIBS!!! That's like McDonalds telling you that they are out of beef! Are they new?
We decided to eat there anyway. The dining room makes a Tim Horton's look luxurious. It's really nothing to look at - no ambiance or character whatsoever. The emergency room at Simcoe General has more character.
Our waitress came by and took our drink order (beer and a diet coke) and we asked for an order of burnt ends as well. She brought us a beer (right one too!) and a Sprite, then came by a couple of minutes later and realized that she brought the wrong pop. We never got the burnt ends.
For dinner, my son ordered some wings (he REALLY wanted ribs) which he said were good. Cole slaw was also good but the fries were cold. I ordered a mixed plate of pulled pork, brisket and a chicken breast (instead of RIBS!). The pulled pork was tasty but too heavily sauced - you couldn't really taste the meat. Same goes for the brisket - it came with too much sauce. The brisket was also a bit over cooked. Really well cooked brisket should be tender but not fall apart. This one fell apart to easily. Still it was tasty, just not great. As for the chicken breast, it was just a chicken breast with a little bbq sauce smeared on top. Nothing special. My fries were also cold.
Sad to say, but I would not go back here - it offers very little and was a bit expensive to boot.
Server was great but the food wasn't great. Ordered ribs and it took a long time to get them. Once I got them, they were cold. Had burnt ends Too, they were mushy and tasted like they had been just reheated in the slow cooker. It was a busy evening but was left disappointed for the cost.
As always excellent. Delicious food at good value.
We came for a quick bite on New Year's Eve and the service was fast and friendly. The ribs and brisket tasted great as always. We both had the smoked spicy caesar. Too bad they were out of the apple crumble, it's our favorite dessert.
Third time at the Smoke. Great food and service! I haven't had the same menu item twice. Everything I have had has been great!
There are many places to eat in Collingwood but we keep going back to the Smoke. They accommodate food allergies very well and overall the food is amazing! WE have not had a bad meal once since going for the first time a couple of years ago!
Made the trip to “The Smoke” specifically for the smoked prime rib offered EVERY Sunday according to their website. Only to find out that they no longer offer that. However , they don’t bother to take that off their website. Draw in people with menu items you no longer offer. Nice!
As for the rest of the night. We stay and ordered anyway. Had the brisket nachos as a shared appetizer. They should of been called the smoked baked bean nachos. Almost no brisket, mostly beans. The main entree was brisket. Fries overcooked and Mac and cheese was a tiny ramekin half full. 6oz of brisket and I ate 3 oz.
We’d be suprized if this place was open next winter. No need for reservations only three other tables were used at 7 pm.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
Food was excellent. Service was great, as always
First time at The Smoke and we all loved it.
From Sarnia, staying at Cranberry and met friends from Muskoka there.
Was recommended from family in Barrie. Everyone found something we liked on menu.
We said we will definitely be returning on our next visit to Collingwood.
Very good food . Love the sauce choices. Nice cozy place.
I have been going to the smoke since it opened and have always enjoyed the food. The main disappointment this time was the change in menu costs. I know costs always go up but one main hit was the increase in " premium " side dishes. We always used to get the sweet potato fries and the smoked Mac and cheese. They now charge an extra $ 1.99 per premium side dishes so if you get a quarter chicken with these two side dishes it is now about $ 20.00. The food is still great but the cost increases are a bit frustrating.
Wonderful place to eat amazing food so much meat! Definitely recommend the chefs platter for 2-person dining
Girls night out pre-movie meal was great! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Will definitely eat here again.
Waitress told us the Rib Special was 21.99 when it was in fact 27.99
