   Three Bears was excellent for our large group, only think I could say as a negative was we had to wait about 20 mins for our reservation. Other than that the food, drinks and service was great!

   came in with a bigger group, so one of us was going to tip on behalf of everyone to make things easier. super great experience overall, but knocked off a star as commenting on how a group decides to provide the tip is extremely inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable. bummer because this place is such a great vibe !!

   Wonderful location, was a great day for patio dining! Elk sausage & kale pizza was fabulous, husband had the fish & chips, a little heavy on the breading for him, waffle fries were the best we've ever had. Great brews!

    My daughter recently moved to the area and I had visited Three Bears a few years ago and really liked the food and atmosphere. I am now visiting my daughter often and we always make a point of dining at Three Bears and she will often go with friends and peers from work as well. We are definitely loyal customers and I tell everyone I know that is visiting Banff to try your place out.

    First time at 3 Bears and we're definitely coming back. The food was delicious, the staff was kind and able to provide accurate information about the menu. They accommodate our 3-month-old baby in the best way possible. Highly recommended.

    Had a reservation and asked for upstairs patio but got sat inside on the main floor at a crappy table. Took forever to get served. Food came out cold. Wouldn’t go back.

    The best place in Banff! Would highly recommend the shrimp and crab donut. It was the perfect appetizer- something a little different, easy to share, absolutely delicious, a solid portion. My partner had the huli huli chicken and loved it, and I had the mushroom pizza (which was great for breakfast pizza the next day). The food was great, service was great, drinks were great. Out of all of the places we have been, this is easily our favorite

    This is our go to spot in Banff. We have never had a bad meal and the service has been great. The downstairs is nice but try to get a table upstairs as the ambiance is fantastic. The pizzas are fantastic and the beer selection is top notch.

    Excellent reception lady and our server young man! Very friendly and polite. However the manager is below grade! No smell and friendly interaction! The service of our server is very good. The food is good and the fries were excellent. The steak was prepared just as we ordered. The only drawback is the steak knives! No different from our last visit three years ago! The steak knives look good but couldn’t cut the steak in an easy effort! Blunt cuts!

    The setting was great! We had hamburgers/ but they were quite underwhelming, especially for their high cost. Our server was efficient, but not particularly friendly or inviting.She also didn’t bring new cutlery when we finished our appetizers- and “piled” the chicken bones onto one plate in front of us, rather than taking the separate plates! It just appeared “unclassy”! As well, when we arrived the three host staff could have been more enthusiastic to have us dining with them! When I asked if we could sit on the patio they said there wasn’t room for our party of five, yet when we sat down I noticed that a patio table was paying. The hostess staff then said we could sit there- and it was lovely . Overall/ it didn’t seem that the staff were making an effort for us to have a good experience.

    I wanted to try the Three Bears Brewery & Restaurant as I saw it on a "Top Restaurants" list. The location was convenient, though we were unable to get a seat outside. The atmosphere was lively and busy with sports playing on the TVs (which I enjoy). I tried one bear which was decent (8/10) but I would say the food was underwhelming. We (3 adults) dined on a weekend for lunch and tried the Chicharrones (minimal flavour), Chinois salad with chicken (tasty and large portion) and the Tuna melt with waffle fries (heavy but tasty). The prices were a little steep for the quality of the food, but in keeping with Banff/ tourist prices.

    Great place. Casual dining, great beers on tap and good food. They accommodated our 4 kids so well and our servers were incredible - never making us feel rushed or less important due to the kids. We enjoyed it so much that we decided went back again, having dinner there twice in our 3 day, 4 night trip to banff! We will be back!

    We come to Three Bears regularly and brought out of town guests this time around. They were able to seat us (a table of 7) before our online reservation. Nice atmosphere, good food and our server made the effort to let us know we were still able to order off Happy Hour menu. TVs usually run on a loop with outdated skiing footage but our server went above and beyond to change a screen to the Jets playoff game. Highly recommend and will return soon.

    Absolutely outstanding experience. Our server “Will” was excellent, brilliantly interacting with our young sons, his menu and beer recommendations were spot on. The kitchen outdid themselves, ahi tuna melt was probably the best tuna I’ve had outside of Hawaii. Seating was comfortable, the casual nature of the staff made for a relaxing supper, price was very reasonable. Will 100% be back, three bears is now a contender for our favorite Banff restaurant
