Rock n Roll Bistro. Chef Anthony Springer and front of the house manager Princess Villesenda took over the establishment in November 2017. The menu consists of the chef's take on upscale comfort food with a seasonal twist and extensive gluten-free and vegetarian options. LIve music starts from 9pm, 7 nights a week (check our website, sometimes there are earlier shows) with a constant variety of bands. Our recently renovated dining room is casual chill spot great for date nights or group get-togethers. Downstairs tables are available for more private and quiet dining. The downstairs "whiskey walnut room" has a large selection of local and imported beers and spirits as well as a classic billiards table. Come join us for our Saturday and Sunday brunch and enjoy our self-serve bloody mary bar with all the fixings. Located in the heart of Union Square in Somerville. Come and join the party! My friend loves live music and the Beatles so we went to the advertised Beatles brunch. The event page on Facebook says it was from 11-2 so we had 1230 reservations. The singer stopped at 1pm. The food was not great and was expensive, not a great value. The best part of the experience was our server. She was attentive!

Found this place at the last minute, my son lives in Somerville. We were greeted by the hostess "Princess". Very nice. Waitresses were more than helpful. It was Mother's Day Brunch Special Menu. So good. First time I had Hash with poached eggs in a while and it was well worth it! Others had the omelette and the "Princess" eggs benedict. We even had music with a talented "country style up beat" artist. Very good as well. They said new owners had taken it over. I even read they have dancing too. Can't wait to go back.

The storefront was small and could easily be passed by but the food was great! Everything we ordered was great quality and the workers were very friendly and the atmosphere great. We went for Easter brunch but would go back for brunch any day or at night for a drink. The live music was not too loud and provided great entertainment!

Food and service were good.I got chicken and waffles and it was a generous portion. Only downside is there wasn’t any live music like it stated on the website. Would definitely go back again.

Went there to see the live music but didn't have a chance to grab dinner so made reservations to ensure getting a table to eat. Food was good, prices a bit high, but the bands were awesome

The fish tacos were the perfect appetizer for two people. The fish and chips were great (I judge all pubs by their abity to get out a decent fish 'n chips at a decent price) and my partner had the fried rice with a side of pork ribs. The pork ribs were tastsy with a fall of the bone tenderness. The drinks were great but only one wsitress on the floor for the entire place! Lucmily we got there early...7:30 ish and had great service ut my 3 friends who joinned us later, nust before the live music started, had to wait a long time for dessert, which was a delicious fried sweet plantain ice cream split. Further more, they had to go to the bar to order their drinks. The music and dancing was fantastic. I would recommend getting there early if you want to have dinner.

Thunder Road Club and Bistro is a great spot. My friends and I stumbled upon this gem one Sunday morning and were pleased to find out they had a live acoustic guitarist performing that morning. I ordered their huge chicken and waffles dish and a"build-your-own" bloody mary. Both were well-priced and delicious. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

Great brunch spot with live music. The food was excellent, service friendly and music as well! They take reservations, and the neighborhood hasn’t found it yet - they will! Four of us each had a different meal and we all were very happy!

The service couldn't have been better. Our wait person Princess was attentive and fast! We were well taken care of. We were a large party and made arrangements with the management ahead of time. We were coming from out of state and I was worried. Well, we were given everything that was promised. Couldn't have been more satisfied. I had the ribs and they were to die for. Everyone was happy with their dishes. Thank you, Thunder Road.

From what I’m told they just recently took over the place and it’s the second time I’ve been there it was great again .......I love the neighborhood restaurant but the food is excellent here I was in and out in a hour more room not noisy and any Bloody Mary bar is all good with me see ya soon

What a delicious fun find! The restaurant owners are a complete delight, and the food DELICIOUS! We all got something different and everyone loved it. Formerly dubious of bar dinners before a show, I'd go here for dinner even if I don't stay for music! Earlier dinner before the show, different gigs every night! This is a hidden gem!

Loved this place! I had a wonderful experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I went with the recommendation of our server and ordered the "just the tip" steak tips which were melt in your mouth delicious! My (vegan) friend ordered the black bean burger which she said was wonderful. The atmosphere of Thunder Road is so fun and lively- I will definitely be returning!

Had a great time earlier tonight at Thunder Road with my husband. He had the fried chicken and said it was delicious. I had the burger w/bacon and the homemade steak fries. So good!! Great live music and the service was top notch too. We will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients and lot of gluten free options. The ambiance is very cozy. Great service! Upscale bar food. Thunder road is a hidden gem in union square. Heard their brunch is awesome as well, can't wait to come back!

Good atmosphere and better food! Service was out of this world and the food was absolutely phenomenal. This place may seem like a venue solely for musical events but the menu is out of this world. This is a must try!!

It's under new management! No more pop-icon brunch, which is sad blow to the Somerville brunch scene. Food was not as inventive as with the previous owners.
