This is our third time at the Tide and Vine, we love everything about it!! The seafood is the best in southern Ontario and the staff make it a fantastic experience. Ask them about anything seafood they are very informed and love to tell you about it. Love the oyster bed!!

What a neighborhood gem, found it thanks to Open Table reviews. Was told at my hotel that I found a place with a great local rep. The food & service backed that 100%

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Excellent service and amazing food. Chefs are creative and wonderful “food artists “. BYOB allowed with corkage fee. This is a MUST try when you’re in the Falls. Made a reservation to come back with family in January! You will not be disappointed!

Just simply outstanding! these were some of the best oysters we've had in a long time. You must try the Lucky Lime oysters. Service was magnificent. Quality of the food was top notch. Lobster was fabulous. If you have not had the chance, spoil yourself and enjoy a great meal at Tide & Vine

Hands down one of top 3 meals I’ve had in the last decade. Background, visited 60+ countries, travel industry, and I love trying new places. I consider myself a foodie. This restaurant is off the beaten path but worth its weight in pirate’s treasure. Found it online, and wanted something different. Less than 10 minutes from the Falls. Small, located in a nondescript strip mall, yet excellent. Had a very unique dinner- pickerel (similar to Walleye) Which had paint code encrusted soft-boiled egg, roasted brussels sprouts and more. The menu is not very large but I don’t see how you could have anything wrong here. Simple but not pretentious and an incredible waitstaff. Chris was our server and knew absolutely everything down to all of their unique oysters. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is in the region. Restaurant is small and simply decorated. Wine choices were nice. Has a full bar. Dinner was so incredible that we had to try dessert. We tried the creme brûlée and chocolate mousse. Do yourself a favor and playing your stay around this dining establishment.

6 people dining and only 3 were OK with their meal and service. My wife ordered the lobster tail and risotto. The lobster was overcooked and dry. She sent it back but they still charged us.
Probably would not return.

What a let down in every aspect! The place is in a stip mall which should have been the first clue. Guests are being crammed into a tiny little space and we had the luck to get the worst table in the establishment. Our request to change the table was ignored.

First time ever I left no tip.

An unsuspecting gem in a strip mall! Once seated inside, you forget where you are and are taken in by the simple nautical decor. Good and cocktails are as locally sourced as possible with a great focus on niagara wines. Service was friendly and inviting with a great knowledge of the menu. If you love seafood you will love Tide and Vine.

Lovely, lovely oysters, a selection of 11 different kinds paired with a very good local wine. The saldad was delicious (and I am not one to rave about salads) and my husband's pasta and shrimp were excellent too. The maple bread pudding was delicious and made a memorable finish.

We mistakenly showed up 45 minutes late for our reservation, but they kindly still accommodated us. Food and service were impeccable. We particularly enjoyed the scallop appetizer special and the potted cheesecake with granola. Best meal we had in Niagara Falls.

You will need reservations - this place is hopping. Excellent drinks selection, with many local offerings (wine, spirits, beer). Everyone loved their drinks. Amazing oyster selection, but nobody at our table chose to try them. Incredible citrus kale salad - and very reasonably priced for a huge amount, order one to share. Appetizers were a hit, although the (two) scallops were quite small. Mains were excellent: lobster thermidor, surf & turf, lobster tail, etc. The beef short rib (which you can get separately, or part of the surf & turf) was INCREDIBLE. Meat absolutely falls off the bone. A couple people commented that their risotto was perhaps not cooked all the way through, or cold (?) The polenta that came with the surf & turf was ridiculously good. Desserts were also good, although the choc. mousse - while very tasty - was far too dense, impossible to finish. The whipped cream was amazing, but you could do with half the amount. The maple bread pudding was well received by those who ordered it. Absinthe is an interested drink option to finish your meal. Service was excellent throughout, our waiter was very attentive, took his time with us, just the consummate host. Only negatives: (1) the chairs are hard and slippery to sit on (2) the only coffee option is brewed (non-decaf), no espresso or cappuccino options. Prices are not inexpensive, but I feel that it is priced fairly for an "experience" level of dining. It is a small place, so seating +4 might be a challenge. Definitely not quiet dining - if there is a louder group or "gregarious gentleman" in the place, you will know it.

Fresh seafood served by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Interesting menu, creative preparations, attention to detail and reasonably priced. Brunch is a new addition, and really good; especially if you are yearning for something a little different.

Love being able to visit the 'bricks & mortar' location after frequenting the T&V food truck for the past few years. Ambience is a just a little bare and echo-y in terms of the soundscape... if your dining neighbours are feeling boisterous, you're very stuck with that. The addition of some sound baffling could make the experience a trifle more elegant and less like a beer hall.

Still... definitely recommend!

Seriously the best place we have been to eat in Canada! The strip center location seems odd when you park but as soon as you get inside everything is great! Bartender/oyster shucker Chris was awesome! Hope the owner knows how great he is and keeps him around!!! It's amazing! Conversations; oysters; scallops; maple bread pudding !!!! All amazing!!!!

Good food (moderate portions...you won't need a take-home box). It is pricy. The wines and corkage fees are expensive, but the Wednesday "no corkage fee on local wines brought in" is a very nice touch and that was our final incentive to dine at Tide and Vine.

This restaurant is sited about 15 minutes away from the main Niagara sites - but serves fresh seafood and an amazing range of oysters - there were at least 10 different varieties available on the day we visited. They are sourced from as far afield as New Zealand and feature local areas too - New Brunswick, British Columbia and Prince Edward Island. The food was amazing - everything we had was perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes were perfect. My only gripe was the seating at the bar - no tables were available at our time - there are too many seats crammed into the space meaning you are literally best friends with your nearest neighbour - or not as the case maybe - my "neighbour" was a foul mouthed, slightly drunk red neck who despite speaking to his girlfriend on the other side of him, managed to spend an hour shouting in my ear - awful ruined what would have been a lovely evening.

I would highly recommend this restaurant as the food was amazing - we tried oysters from places like Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, British Columbia, and New Zealand. The servers knew their information and were very helpful in giving suggestions on what to try. The only complaint I had was the cost of food. My entree was not substantial in any way and the cost was quite hefty. I would suggest going to this restaurant as more of a fun, appetizer place rather than to have a filling meal!

The mains were disappointing but the apps were very good.
The service was slow and at times we were ignored. When we arrived there was an individual monopolizing the waiters time arranging a booking for a future date. Someone else should have sat us down.
For an expensive dining experience the service flaws seemed exagerated.
