Tide & Vine
For a shared dinner, try one of the chilled seafood plates such as the cold smoked trout or seafood tartare to be enjoyed. Guests at The Tide & Vine can indulge in a dessert of chocolate mousse or hot maple pudding for a unique and sweet finish to every surf and turf dish.
The menu seemed to be a summer menu, way too many salads for our liking. $3.50 for very small raw
Oysters is outrages. So loud music and talking could not hear across the table. The good comment is the Staff was OK. Will not go back.
Loved it! So glad we went.
Our first time to this place and we love the vibe there. We had tried out their oysters from New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The oysters we had were superb and extremely fresh. Thanks for pick made by Rich, our server.
In addition to the oysters, we have tried several other dishes. The one we liked most were the Tuna Salad.
We definitely will go back another time.
Amazing food and service. A little pricey but it is seafood. Ambiance was very nice although probably quieter on the bar side then the family side
Outstanding service from all staff it was a lovely experience with outstanding seafood. This is a must visit!
Excellent food. I would definitely recommend and eat here again.
Great dining experience. Food and service was wonderful. Choice of wines was less than we had anticipated given the name of the restaurant. Nice ambiance inside.
One of the best spots in Niagara Falls for finer dining.
Friendly staff with all the best seafood Niagara has to offer. The lobster Risotto was perfect and the trout was a pleasant surprise
Wow! What a gem.
Food was amazing. Kory made this one of the most memorable meals of a family road trip.
Picked this place because it was on the way yet out of the way. Don't let the exterior or the location fool you. This place has amazing food, craft beer and outstanding service.
Bring a sweater. It’s cold in dining room. They don’t allow fires at the table. 😉
Oysters were superb! Service was AMAZING! a little pricey for oysters and seafood tower, but the service and ambiance made it all worth it. Beer was good, our server let us sample a beer that he recommended before we committed to it. It was really good. That seafood pasta was delicious too!
The Seafood Salad, the chowder, and the catch of the day were fabulous. Our waitress Hailey was excellent - gave us great recommendations and service. We would totally go back!!
Good Food: creative, fresh, hot and unusual. Delicious, albeit limited menu. Great wait staff: polite, helpful and energetic and very friendly.
Unfortunately, only offer regional wines. Challenging if one is not familiar with local wineries.
More of a bar scene.
Food and service is absolutely amazing. A bit of a drive from Niagara Falls, but definitely worth it!
Food and service was good. But it was our 40 Th wedding anniversary. I enjoyed it but my expectations were much higher so I was disappointed.
Very casual. I chose wrong for our big dinner.
Food was excellent. My favorite was dynamite oysters. Service was excellent. The staff really know how to interact with the patrons in a fun and friendly manor.
What a lovely restaurant. Sea food tower for two was awesome and the waitress was so kind.
THIS place is a gem !!! If you enjoy Oysters and fresh, expertly prepared seafood dont miss this place.
we dine there at leastn 2x's a month
We've been to T&V numerous times over the years and always enjoyed the experience. This time we were disappointed with a couple of the dishes. You can't go wrong with their great selection of fresh oysters. Also the local wine and beer list is great. The staff are really special...knowledgeable, patient and fun. The dishes that we could not rate highly were the seafood chowder and the lobster risotto. Maybe it was just the luck of the draw but my chowder was mostly potato with just tiny bits of fish flakes...not the chowder that I remember from past visits. The lobster risotto turned out to be a mushroom risotto with a lobster tail on top....hardly what you would expect from a seafood restaurant. Perhaps with their popularity and success, the consistent quality of the food has suffered.
Good food, fresh, prompt and friendly service
Food was incredible - can't wait to go back again!
Staff was very friendly
My mom and I went out to Niagara Falls for a little shopping trip when we stopped at this restaurant. I recommend making a reservation or else your wait time might be extremely long. Chris was our waiter and he was amazing. One of the best waiters I’ve had in a while. He was polite and nice and made the evening even better. The food took a while but it was absolutely worth it. The oysters were spectacular and overall I would definitely go again.
Food was great, but portions are small considering the price. The servers were very nice and knowledgeable about the oyster varieties but it took much too long for the food to come out.
Great beer selections, limited wine selections. Great food!!
Located in a strip mall but don't let that deter you. Somewhat spartan inside with a nautical feel. Not a fancy stting but the service and food was excellent. Not a spacious interior. Tables close together. I would not say an intimate setting. A large selection of raw oysters, catch of the day and lobster dishes. We had the 1 pound mussels @ as an appetizer. We requested more French bread to make sure we got all of the broth. I had the salmon catch of the day over an excellent spicy gumbo. My wife ordered the lobster tail with risotto. Everything was done to perfection. One dessert but it was a very good potted peach cheesecake. The staff was pleasant and well versed on the menu. Wine list as well as some beer and spirits . I would return.
Helpful servers, great food & local wines
Oysters were remarkable. Service and friendliness of staff was outstanding. Would like a catch of the day other than salmon
A great local seafood restaurant. Good oysters and lobster risotto was delicious special of salmon was really special. Expensive but worth it.
My wife and I love raw oysters and we have looked far and wide for a good oyster bar. We have found it at Tide & Vine. They have the best selection and quality of fresh oysters. They were so good we had two dozen. The staff is very personable and knowledgable, you can put your trust in their recommendations. Totally recommend Tide and Vine to anyone who appreciates fresh seafood, especially oysters.
Excellent service and great food!
I brought my friend after my first visit. I had a great dinner(+oysters) last winter and back for lunch this time. Food was really good and service was amazing! Definitely bring my friends and family for a nice meal again!
Jules was amazing! Thank you for the amazing service!
The appetizer was the only good part of the meal. Charged 5 star prices for a place where people were barefoot with their feet up and noisy. I made one request on my reservation, “no alcohol” and instead I was given two alcohol based sauces and a meal that was cooked in wine and whisky. Regrettable experience.
Food was out of this world, and our server was wonderful, I will absolutely return. My only issue was the acoustics - it’s really loud and noticeable as soon as you walk in the door.
Awesome Experience, not what i was expecting from a restaurant in a strip mall
We had the absolute perfect lunch here! We started with loads of oysters which our waiter was so knowledgeable and helpful in choosing. We then had the chowder. Words can’t describe how wonderful this was!!! Then on to the lobster roll. Again, we were blown away. This will with out a doubt be a memorable meal from this trip. Not only was the food outstanding, the staff was so so so amazing! We almost didn’t realize we had left the South with their level of hospitality. If in Niagara Falls, don’t hesitate. Just go!
Great Restaurant in an unusual spot service and food was amazing great find and glad we had this experience. Would highly recommend.
Had a great birthday dinner for my parents! Everything we had from the oysters to the lobster bake was fantastic! Great happy hour deal for oysters and wine! Service was friendly and smiling! Great find off the beaten path for a trip to Niagara.
