Set in a shopping strip, my expectations lowered. After getting a "two finger" 2 oz. $13 martini which filled less than 1/3 of my small, low, non chilled glass with my olives, it didn't get much better. The "Old Fashioned" arrived just as small...3 sips and done. Ridiculous. Little value for a lot of money. The very attentive and sassy, typically tattooed server described the lunch with enthusiasm. The lobster roll arrived small with dry bread barely toasted or buttered with a side of potato salad that I doctored with the hot mustard sauce to give it some flavor. My partner ordered the scallops with savory bread pudding and 2 scallops...delicious.. Both priced at $20, one worth it and the other made you wonder how a chef could create both. Oysters at $3.50 a piece were also fresh and well presented. It was like the emperor's new clothes...lot of hoopla but nothing really there and not worth trying to find the place in this offbeat location from Niagara Falls. Only went there because I read some rave reviews. Disappointing. Also, noted on Open Table reservation that it was a birthday lunch and could they bring a surprise little cake to the table which went totally unnoticed as this wasn't done...at the end of lunch I really was ready to just leave. Over $100 for ??? You can find so much better...

The food was very nice and well presented. Fresh seafood. Even the vege used local ingredients and perfectly seasoned. Service was excellent. A little pricier meal compared to normal dine-out (but not too bad $34+ for a main course) so expect to pay at least $130 for two after taxes and tips but we come to Niagara Falls only once in a while.

My friend and I went to Tide & Vine while visiting Niagara Falls in Ontario from the US and it exceeded my expectations. We dined there on Saturday, September 23, 2018? I reviewed many “Restaurants in the Niagara Falls area” for the vacation and included in my selection was this restaurant. When I reviewed their menu and knew what I would be ordering so clearly I was looking forward to this dining experience. It’s away from the tourist area and located in a strip mall in a residential/commercial type neighborhood. The atmosphere is relaxed, the space is on the smaller side so I’d strongly recommend reservations on the weekend. I had a 6:30 reservation and within 45 minutes there was 1 available table. While the service was a little bit on the slower for the oysters (because frankly they’re in such demand) it was worth every bit of the wait. My friend and I agree that the oysters were some of the best that we’ve ever had and we make a point of having them at every opportunity. We told our waiter the types of oysters we liked and he did a terrific job of selecting 1 1/2 dozen for us. Our only request was that We prefer them on the smaller side and also that they be only Canadian oysters since we could always get US oysters at home. They were a chilled to perfection and the dressings (mignonette, the Bajan & scotch bonnet hot sauces. among others) offered to accompany the oysters ware amazing. We also had the coconut shrimp appetizer, the lobster dinner and the curry seafood dinner and decided it was the best dining experience we had in our 7-day vacation and we’d had a few good ones before a Tide & Vine. Worth your trip worth your time your palette would be very happy.

Very good sea food. Oysters not to my taste, but had a very good trout (catch of the day) as main course, however/unfortunatly it was a pretty smal portion of fish.
Service was great. Very busy and thereby loud. A bit pricy.
Reservation recommended!

The food was awesome fresh and well prepared. the great staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything you want what gem of a place to and enjoy a great evening. It's a little off the main fair of Niagara Falls; but, well worth the trip. It's only 15 minutes from the main strip.

We chose this restaurant because of reviews, but it was not at all what we expected. The location is in a strip mall, no where near the Niagara Falls, and we were given the impression it was a fine dining location. My husband had the fish special and I ha the lobster special. His fish was very dry. We had a variety of the oysters, but all were rather small. The bill came to about $300 dollars and I do not believe that the quality of the food was deserving of such a high price. We did like our server. He was very friendly, but again, the food was really not that great.

We stumbled upon this place after spending the weekend in Niagara-on-the-lake before returning to Toronto. This came up on Open Table as a resto closeby and we decided to try it. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were super friendly. We sat at the bar which I highly recommend. You can see oysters being shucked while having great conversation with the staff. Absolutely recommend.

We went for the seafood and we're blown away by then oysters! Julianna, our very capable server, kindly and expertly selected a dozen oysters of 6 varieties for us and they were excellent! Probably the best we've had! Then the wine sommelier, assisted us with selecting a nice bottle of wine to compliment our food selections. All the wait staff we're excellent. It's a little out of the way of the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowd, but oh so worth the experience. We will definitely be back!

Found the restaurant on trip advisor and was very pleased with the overall evening
Food was good and service very good our server was very friendly and had good knowledge
The only reason I’ve given a 4 star is because it’s miles away from Niagara town (which is great to be honest ) but too far if you are stayaong there and fancy a few beers afterwards -

Our group of eight was accomodated very well, the no fee corkage on niagara wines a nice touch, topping off a great seafood experience -- the scalops were fantastic, the chowder to die for, all round very well balanced. Don't leave without the homemade cheesecake in a jar - sublime, even if you only have room to share one between two !
In all, much more than the discrete location would imply, you will be very pleasantly surprised by this soon -to-be-discovered hidden gem ! If you love seafood.....you won't be disappointed.
