overall2food3service3ambience2 This was not our first time visiting Tiffany's, I knew what to expect as far as food and it was last minute on Easter our party of 4 was 2 adults and 2 children. What I didn't appreciate was to being charged $20 MORE for meals we have ordered in the past. When I questioned the bill (since we've been there a number of times before) which was $70 (w/o tip) for: 3 coffees, a Pecan Waffle (normally around $9), Crepes with Hershey's syrup (also around $9 ), Pancakes with chocolate chip pancakes (usually around $7), a Greek skillet (also usually $9) with 2 sides of bacon ($8) and a side of hash browns ($3) - the hostess responded "Easter Special Menu - you not enjoy?" I could have seen it if there was something "Festive" like an Easter Bunny, fresh flowers on the tables...something other than just taking advantage of the opportunity to price gauge a customer. We typically do a brunch on Easter and I am quite comfortable paying a higher price, the cost not the issue. If I am going to pay for a "special menu" then make it special and provide something additional to "make it special", not the same mediocre service and food.Is this helpful?
