    Not our first visit. I don't know how the food gets better everytime but it does! Every dish was unbelievably delicious from the arancini to the creme brulee.

    Excellent food! The steak was so tender and the potatoes and vegetables were delicious. Would definitely recommend and go again. Angela was very friendly, and prompt with our service Thank you for everything!

    My wife and I celebrated our 11 years anniversary at Tilly's Kitchen Restaurant and it was awesome. Service was great. Food was phenomenal! The greeting card was a great touch. We were glad we dine there.

    Atmosphere: perfect Food: AMAZING. we had the Mediterranean … something (lol) for an appetizer SO good. I had the chicken chorizo pasta as my main, it was absolutely amazing I finished every bite. For dessert I had the warm brownie. It was a bit crunchier than I would’ve liked but it tasted amazing. We sampled some wine but didn’t care for it that night. I had the raspberry rum fizz (I think it was called) it was really good. The wait staff was phenomenal. They were so amazing, answered all our questions for us, got amazing photos for us. They were super on top of things. Replaced our cutlery for every course, the food was served to us extremely fast. The music playing was absolutely perfect!! The table beside us was a bit noisy but that was not the restaurants fault and we didn’t mind too much. It just didn’t match the atmosphere but I think it was a group of older ladies catching up with each other so it was nice. Honestly I loved the entire experience, will definitely be back!

    Service was above average. Food met our expectations. Ambiances was great. Towards the end of our visit a loud group was seated near us that took away from our enjoyment.

    unfortunatly my steak was slightly overcooked. They were prompt in checking & offered to replace. I declined a replacement as I did not want to wait and so they provided a gift certificate in lieu. 👍

    Everything for the surprise dinner for my husband’s birthday was absolutely perfect. Fabulous food, wonderful staff, comfortable space and time to enjoy our meal. Our out of town guests were still raving about dinner 3 days later when they left for the airport. Simply fabulous. Thank you for the great evening!

    Absolutely stellar experience from the moment we walked Through the door. Casual but civilized- incredible menu and the presentation and taste did not disappoint! The staff did a perfect balance of meeting our mood and not interrupting during conversation but making sure we were well taken care of. Thank you for the exceptional dining experience!

    The menu is small so each dish can be created with care but there is something for every taste. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was relaxed. A lovely period home turned into a restaurant. I love the tunes. I could sing along with almost every song.

    We love Tilly's !! We go whenever we can. I always order the tenderloin but decided I should try something else. Seafood linguine did not disappoint 😋 The staff are awesome and welcoming, Mikaela and KD are awesome!! Always checking if everything is good or if you need anything. Laurel the owner is also great to talk with, maybe one day we will meet Chef Brad if he isn't to busy. Hands down our favorite restaurant !!!

    The food, the service and the ambiance were absolutely amazing. You are treated like royalty when you walk in. The restaurant is Victorian style building it is full of beautifully carved wood and the antiques are magnificent. This restaurant is probably the best in the Pictou county area of nova scotia.

    There were 6 of us and we were all pleased with our meals. Irish coffee too weak. Rest...perfect. Staff were fun and knew their menu. Owner came to great us and was lovely. A special evening!

    Outstanding gem of a restaurant in New Glasgow. The food was exceptionally good with a nice selection of menu items. The setting was beautiful (well maintained Victorian home). The staff were very helpful and accommodating (food allergies). Friendly. Welcoming. One of our best meals in Nova Scotia - both in terms of the food and the overall dining experience. Looking forward to returning.

    Firstly, our appetizers were so delicious (crab cakes/arancini) and quick to the table. Nice wine selection and very attentive service. Our mains were so good! (both seafood based). Very generous portion sizes and nicely presented. Perfecto! It was a fantastic meal to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary, and the cards with well wishes left by the staff were most appreciated and a nice touch indeed. The dining rooms are cosy and the tables are nicely spaced so you don’t feel like you are sitting on top of others. We will definitely come back again!!

    Outstanding food, incredible service (personalized attention for our anniversary), friendly and good sized portions. Beautiful building with a cozy atmosphere. The seafood was amazing and the flavours mixed together so well! Crème brûlée and coffees were also 5 Star. We will be going back again and again. A hidden gem in the centre of New Glasgow 💎
