The Timber Room Bar & Grill offers a deliciously wonderful “gastro-pub” menu in a newly renovated space. From steaks to salmon, teriyaki bowls to tacos, burgers and ribs, our menu has been designed to please all! Family-friendly and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (dependent on season, please see current hours below). The ambiance is playful and social – full of logging memorabilia, live sports on the multiple screens, great music playing in the background, and a cozy fireplace section. When the weather warms up, the Comox Valley’s largest and most scenic patio overlooking the 18th green welcomes golfers, hotel guests, and local patrons alike. Come for a beverage, stay for a meal.

    Excellent place to eat, loved the welcoming fireplace , lovely setting. The food was excellent too, the focaccia sandwich with chicken and the soup with beef and vegetable was delicious. Will definitely be going back.

    Had a reservation for 6:30 for three people. Servers were wonderful, ordered at 6:45. One person's meal arrived at 7:30, the other two arrived 20 minutes later. Not sure if the kitchen was short staffed or someone forget to put in the whole table's order. Not impressed with the wait time. The server was lovely, brought us snacks and kept us informed about the food. Food was good.

    The food was delicious as usual. The service was speedy which was good as we just wanted to eat and go. The view is always pleasurable, so nice to be able to see the mountains and golf course.

    Staff were awesome! The restaurant was full. Even with a reservation, we weren't seated immediately. However, the food was worth the wait, and Julie was very attentive and a joy, despite being run off her feet.

    A very enjoyable dining experience. The service was especially attentive. The food portions were generous, tasty and well-presented. The chocolate cake looked very impressive but was not as tasty (maybe not house-made) but overall we enjoyed our lunch and will return. The online reservation system worked well.

    My food was not as hot as I would have liked. Nicole, our waitress was very good. Three gentlemen at the next table when we arrived were speaking so loud that we had trouble having a conversation until they left.

    Had a lovely dining experience at the crown isle restaurant. Although I had booked a table outside, it was a little breezy and cool, and they accommodated us with a nice table inside all the meals we ordered were hot flavorful, and made to order whenever I rendezvous with my sister, who lives in Campbell River. We choose to eat at Crown Isle, and they’ve never let us down.

    We asked to sit on the patio and were shown to a table that had a lovely view. Our waitress was friendly and took our food and drink orders in a timely manner. The food was delicious and we appreciated that we were not rushed at all. We will definitely be back!

    There were 6 of us for Wed Pasta Special Night, the service was attentive and friendly. Three of us chose the pasta special was deemed OK by 1, 4.5 by the other 2. I had the beef dip with the soup of the day as a side. The beef dip was yummy but the soup was lukewarm and just okay. The other 2 in the party had the butternut squash pasta which was deemed excellent. One person was served their dinner at least 5 min before the other person received their plate. The 2nd plate looked much better than the first dish delivered....more generous amount of sauce and looked fresher. Was a very nice evening out...we all enjoyed our food and service but I would not say it was outstanding. It's not a "fine dining" kind of restaurant which is the kind of restaurant that I would normally think of as being in the running a truly "exceptional" rating. Would come back again though.

    Disappointing it was my wife birthday meal and they really dropped the ball. Both our main meals arrived after an hour and cold. We refused the meals and requested the bill. They apologized and removed from the bill but that’s not the point after an hours drive each way I expected more, but alas was let down.
