The Timber Room Bar & Grill offers a deliciously wonderful “gastro-pub” menu in a newly renovated space. From steaks to salmon, teriyaki bowls to tacos, burgers and ribs, our menu has been designed to please all! Family-friendly and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (dependent on season, please see current hours below). The ambiance is playful and social – full of logging memorabilia, live sports on the multiple screens, great music playing in the background, and a cozy fireplace section. When the weather warms up, the Comox Valley’s largest and most scenic patio overlooking the 18th green welcomes golfers, hotel guests, and local patrons alike. Come for a beverage, stay for a meal.

    We went for the Friday Prime rib but it was sold out by 6:45 when we arrived for our reservation time. Server told us it was on again tomorrow…so why not cook more then , if your having it two days in a row. Disappointed. The food we did have was very good.

    Three of the four had the prime beef - spectacular. Nice mashed potatoes and gravy. The second best Yorkshire puddings I have had (my mother-in-law was from Yorkshire) and the beef was done to perfection. Two of our group had deserts the creme brûlée and the chocolate torte with ice cream. Best meal we've had in a restaurant in a long time. Highly recommended.

    We had a great hamburger and chips. Service was great. The views are pleasant with both the golf course and the mountains in the distance

    Our server (Sophie) was excellent, ambience was good, but was surprised that the Timber Room allowed sloppy dress (several fellows were walking around in flipflops and gym shorts and t shirts from just playing golf). Food was v good BUT a loooong wait for entres as kitchen could not keep up - were appeased with complimentary salads.

    Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience for our 1 year anniversary. It was our first time at this restaurant and we will definitely be going back again. Food was amazing, service was great, and they accommodated our request for seating. Overall 10/10.

    We were celebrating our 51st Anniversary and looked forward to dinner there . We both had the prime rib . My 10 ounce had about 5 ounces of fat . The rest was difficult to cut but I think that was because of dull knife . Chewy but not horrible . My wife’s was better but we both found the Yorkshire to be very dry . It was okay but not as good as we thought it would be . We have always had good food there in the past . Service was good . We were focused on enjoying ourselves so didn’t want to complain at the time .
