In 2005 four longtime Florida State graduates opened Tin Lizzy’s in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, giving their guests a unique taqueria with service rooted in genuine hospitality. Tin Lizzy’s quickly became a popular
place to work and to meet friends for refreshing margaritas and delicious TexMex cuisine. Soon after, other neighborhoods wanted their own Tin Lizzy’s. We are excited to bring our passion for hospitality and “friends serving friends” mission to new neighborhoods and especially back to Tallahassee.

The Tin Lizzy’s Tallahassee was closed for Business! I was allowed to make an Open Table reservation for 10 ppl following a college graduation only to pull up to a business that had closed recently. Left a large group of family scrambling to find a place to eat on a busy graduation night. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I visited on a Wednesday which was pretty quiet as there were not a lot of patrons; however, the food was great and the service was excellent. We had the queso, which had a nice bite to it and not overly hot. We also tried multiple taco flavors, which each was a pleasant adventure for the taste buds. I would recommend for a nice outing with friends if you are looking for a sports bar ambiance. I will definitely return when I am in town.

The Margarita was served in a tall glass and was so heavy on the juice, it didn't even qualify to have the name margarita. The "salsa rojas" is straight up jarred Tostitos salsa - thankfully the guacamole made up for it because that was disgusting. Ordered 3 tacos on corn totrillas. The tortillas were generic grocery store brand, straight out of the package. Not warmed at all, they were disgusting. The inside of the tacos were pretty good at least. Waitress never came back after delivering food to refill drinks. Never came back at all in fact. We waited for awhile, eventually paid thorugh the QR code on the table and went to the bar across the street, which is where we should have gone all along.

Not a lot of staff working. Our waitress did her best. The food was just ok. Nacho meat was ice cold and any thing fried was cooked to a crisp. The pork tacos were the only redeeming highlight of our lunch and the drinks were good. Portions extremely small. Won’t be going back here

We had a large group and a late reservation at 9:45 after the circus. That is wonderful that they take a reservation! Our server was great. He stayed on top of things despite slow getting drinks to him. Food was not as good as last time. Maybe sat a bit before brought to us but we had a great time with our friends and performers who were able to join us because of the reservation!

If you are a college kid- this may be the place to go. We are two college parents and we were not overly Impressed. We made the reservation just in case but turns out we didn’t need it. We were sat right away, but our table had tortilla pieces on the table and the chairs. Makes you wonder if it was cleaned. We brushed them off and sat. It is quite loud in there. Server was ok. She came over for drinks - asked for a diet soda no ice with lime and a margarita. My soda came quick chock full of ice and no lime. Margarita took a bit longer and was very sweet. We ordered a salad, appetizer and skillet to share. Food was okay. The skillet seemed to have very limited chicken. Bathroom stall lock was broker. And seemed like I was walking into some sort of weird situation when I walked in. Not running back but not terrible. Never saw server after food came u til we were done. I had a terrible experience. It took over 45 minutes to get our drinks and two hours to get our food. When it arrived, our orders were wrong and the server didn’t offer to fix the problem.

There for the Friday Night block party. Nice to have a Reservation at somewhere other than 51. Seated us right away and food was nice as was waitress. She did a great job on a busy night.

Very small menu compared to what was listed online. That was disappointing. What we did order was good not great. It's a fun place Im sure for a pregame beer and a taco just not for legit dinner.

We enjoyed our visit. I think they were a little short staffed that night as it took a little longer for initial service but I could tell they were doing their best. Very friendly and accommodating and the food was great.

Limited menu with few choices. Ordered some apps and nachos didn’t look appealing and were missing things like salsa, sour cream that were clearly in the paper menu description. Chicken tenders were served with ketchup whereas the menu stated it came with ranch. Served a $10 glass of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay in a plastic cup. We’ll aware this is a college town but we’ve dined there two years ago and it was very nice. Now like any excuse to serve sub par food and still charge regular or even higher prices for food. Won’t go back - waste of money and ambiance is just so so.

This experience was disappointing. I ordered a taco salad that was 90% greens and didn't have avocado or the lime vinegrette. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, we got little help from our server. When I was finally able to ask for more toppings, he said they would remake the salad. I asked for more queso (which for the price is a tiny serving) since my daughter already had her tacos (which weren't great). It would have been nice not to be charged an additional $6. When I got the salad, it still didn't have avocado, so I had to ask for that. And after all that it was still tasteless. The margarita was mediocre. For $50, I felt like I'd been ripped off. I'm not hard to please, and don't leave negative reviews. But I'm not sure why this place was so highly recommended.

This is strictly a college hang out joint. We waited more than 15 minutes after being seated for anyone to even come to ask if we wanted to drink. Service was incredibly slow. Food was OK, nothing special, but pricey for what we got. We had to finally chase down the server through the bartender just to get our check and get out of there. Definitely not a place we would go back to but seems like a place for college kids go hang out.

Something was going on in the back kitchen! Maybe the chef didn’t show up? The place was empty it was Labor Day Monday and the day after a big home game! Maybe all the staff were hung over? Our appetizers came out pretty quick but our mains took an hour an a half! The waitress came over once to let us know they were behind but never asked to refill drinks. When my salad finally did come out there was no dressing! Since waitress was sitting at bar eating my husband walked back to kitchen and ask someone. Everyone else’s food was cold so it was obviously sitting there for a while. Even though there were barely any customers in there we heard the hostess turning people away that wanted food. So there was definitely a problem in the back! I don’t know if I would eat here again maybe I will try different location

Our reservation was for 11:30, however we were informed by snigger family that also had a reservation that the restaurant wouldn’t even open for an hour. I pulled in the door thinking they must be mistaken, nope completely locked. Why take reservations if you’re not even going to be open. It was very disappointing.

Unbelievable how bad it was Had reservations for 7pm. Was seated on time. Took 1.5 hours for food to arrive. Everything was cold and my meal had raw chicken. I sent it back and had them just take it off the bill. So bad. Don’t waste your time and money.

Short staffed servers. Out of most menu items. Stated one cook in kitchen. All around Pitiful. Surprisingly the food items that were in stock and that we did get were good. Food and drinks are way overpriced for what you get. Restaurant is an amazing location and has the potential to be very successful if staff accordingly.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Took over 30 minutes to get the first and second drinks. After 1:30 we asked to cancel our order to which the waiter told us it would be ready in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later they cancelled all of the food orders in the restaurant. Obviously a rough night but the service should have been better.
