    Our dinner was excellent as well as the wine and the service! Very friendly wait staff and a beautiful setting. One of my absolute favorite places for brunch and dinner!

    The waitress didn’t know the soup of the day or specials. Broccoli was supposed to come roasted and it came steamed with stray pieces of pasta mixed in. Spaghetti mixed in with another dinner. The creme brûlée was so bad we had to send it back. One was complete liquid and another was as hard as a hard boiled egg. Then the waitress gave us attitude when we asked her to split check. This place used to be awesome with the previous owner. I will not be going back.

    The atmosphere was beautiful but the service was no service. We were seated promptly and sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledging us. I asked the hostess if anyone knew we were seated and she said yes. My husband went up to the bar to order drinks and get water. He was never waited on. The waitress then came to the table took our order for drinks and dinner. Our drinks sat on the bar 15 minutes and we got up to get them. We ordered soup and salad to have before dinner and didn’t come till 1/2 way trough dinner. Ultimately the manager/ owner needs to address these problems. Too many reservations and not enough trained staff. We will not be returning

    Ambience was very nice. Staff was very attentive. Food delivery was slow, not because of our server. We ate at Tin Pan Galley twice over the summer, and both times, food delivery was very slow. If I compare to similar restaurants we've gone to, it's slower than other comparable restaurants. While we appreciate not being rushed, the timing is a bit too much in the other direction. Entertainment was quite enjoyable. Prices were high. My meal, surprisingly, was on the bland side (vegetarian pasta - angel hair with tomatoes, kalamata olives, and feta cheese). The garnishments were on the stingy side: the kalamata olives were cut very small, and they were probably from maybe 3 - 4 olives; the feta cheese was cut into tiny cubes, and there were perhaps 4 or 5 little cubes in total. The price of $18 was a bit much for something that was bland, with a portion that was unremarkable. The chocolate cake was quite good. One observation that may be noticed by others: there were many cobwebs that could be quickly cleaned up. The outside area is otherwise charming and attractive, and the heaters located around the eating areas are a thoughtful touch.

    Food has declined a bit. Pasta with shrimp and asparagus very bland as was the vegetarian pasta. Limoncello dessert was excellent. Server was very nice. Music good too.

    Tin Pan Galley in times past used to be one of the best restaurants in the area no longer so. Our experience was bad. We were the first diner of the evening, we ordered calamari as a starter They were lukewarm tough couldn’t chew them. I think they must have been a leftover. At five o’clock in the evening everything should be fresh and hot. Our fish entrees were no better . I sent mine back because wasn’t cooked enough and when it came back was exactly the same. My husband fish was tasteless . By the way we had had the same food at other time and it was good. We were there for a special evening and in a good mood didn’t want to spoil it. I would have complained but my husband doesn’t want to. Simply we don’t go back and I think it isn’t fair . We don’t mind paying for expensive food but we do mind very much not getting what we pay for. Beside ruining the evening I felt taken. The service was good . We are not going back

    Terrible value. Better choices elsewhere. Ladies next to us said lobster pastas dish had one small piece of lobster. And pasta was over done right before we received our order. Confirmed the same. Terrible value felt like it’s a tourist trap!

    Staff were pleasant and service was timely for the most part. Food was not up to standard of years past and prices were high for the quality served. Caesar salad was very poor with soggy lettuce. Setting is lovely as always. Music, although good, was way too loud to allow for conversation.

    No tonic for gin & tonic, scotch and water served with a slice of lime, drinks served without ice, service was ok, sea bass was excellent as were the sea scallops. Lobster mac & cheese had very little lobster. Mac & cheese did not have enough creamy sauce. Live music was loud but fun. Atmosphere was great.

    I would have to say that we were disappointed, of the four meals two were not acceptable. Our waitress was SO good and understanding. We enjoyed the music. I am sorry to say that we will not be returning.

    Except for the cool setting and the dude playing guitar, Tin Pan Galley is horrible. HORRIBLE. You’re better off eating dog food at home.

    Great service and food. Waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, able to talk across the table to each other. Entertainment was provided by a wonderful 2-man band with great old and new hits. Overall experience was excellent.

    The outside bartender and our drinks were the best part of our visit here. Sat us down and took 15 mins for someone to wait on us and there was only one other table seated inside. Never gave us specials - fruits flys constantly in our faces and the window sill we were seated near was filthy with cob webs and spider sacs. My salad took forever to come, was very good but big enough for four people and then our meals came out right on top of it. Both meals were luke warm at best - filet was not seasoned and masked potatoes and broccoli were cold. Waitress never checked on us until we done - I ate a small bit of my meal and told her everything was cold when it arrived and all we got was “I’m sorry”. Very disappointing for a restaurant that is supposed to be the best in the area.

    I think TPG is currently struggling with getting their wait staff back to where it's been in past years. We were seated right away, but it was 10 minutes before water arrived and 30 before our waitress introduced herself and took a drink order. We sat down at 7:30, but did not have our dinners until 9:30 and they were warm at best. Our waitress was either invisible or holding up a wall most of the time. We were seated right next to the band, so it was a little loud for my taste, but some folks may find that to be a plus.

    We arrived early at 5:00. Staff welcomed us and fixed up delicious martinis. Mac and Lobster was excellent. Service was perfect. A lovely summer evening under the trees with music that was delightful and the correct volume.

    Tin Pan Galley charges a premium for the beautiful ambiance and food, which I am completely willing splurge on because historically the service and food are worth it. Our recent visit fell short. We waited more than 20 minutes to have anyone come to our table and then our drinks were not made correctly. We finally got drinks and bread about 45 minutes in. Appetizers were put on the table as entrees were being walked up to table. I did speak up and the server apologized. She explained there was a large event upstairs and there were teenagers cooking. The owner’s son came over to apologize after the server asked him to. He apologized and I asked him to take one of the appetizers off the bill since we couldn’t eat everything all at once. I feel I should not have to ask and that both appetizers should have been taken off the bill given the poor service. I was so excited to bring my guests and the whole experience was disappointing.

    Have been coming here for over 20 years. Had an 8pm reservation, was seated promptly by the hostess. After 25 minutes , our waitress come over to tell us that no-one had advised her that she had a table to wait on. She was very apologetic and tried to get things back on target. My wife had chicken caprese, was tender but very bland. I had the Filet Medium but it was well done and had very little taste and was very dry. The mashed potatoes were very thick and pasty. Not at all like the meals was have had in past years. We also ate here for breakfast that morning and our favorite, the Poblano Sausage and biscuits was very bland and had no hint of poblano taste.

    We usually have a fantastic experience here but were unfortunately let down on this occasion. We started with a special cocktail that was delicious the first round but when we ordered the drinks again, they were almost completely different and very watered down. The appetizers of the calamari & the goat cheese were absolutely delicious but then came a very long wait for our entrees. My husband ordered the special tuna and it was drenched in wasabi with very wet sticky rice cakes which were not good and over cooked asparagus. I had the Thai steak salad with peanut sauce and the steak was tough like it had been sitting for a while and the peanut sauce was just a glob of solid peanut butter in a dish. Nothing saucy about it. The staff was courteous but may have been a little short handed. Hard to tell. I think we will hold off on returning for a while.

    This is one of our favorite places for dinner. Not so much any more. Food took a LONG time to come out, when it did, it was cold in the middle - sea bass. My pasta and my son's lobster mac & cheese had been under the heat lamp for a long time. Disappointing!!! $$$$

    Our server (Rebecca) was EXCELLENT, very cordial and attentive. Initial minor snafu in that our bread basket was given to another table, as was my drink but quickly resolved. Appetizer (panko) was awesome as were the Scallops dinner. The beef special w/cheddar mashed potato was just okay (warm, not hot), ordered to be cooked "medium" but much of it was well done. Limoncello dessert was delicious, but pricey at $14.00 for the size received.

    The first day of their week they were already out of 2 menu items. Quality in my meal was not as it should have been but everyone else indicated theirs was fine. Band was great, service very good and the the crème brûlée was excellent. It is a beautiful venue, and we’ve had wonderful experiences there in the past. Pricing was based on its past reputation but it didn’t deliver to that standard. Hoping they can get their mojo back.

    As a longtime customer at TPG, I am so disappointed in tonight's experience there. The staff was indifferent at best. We had to flag someone down for water refills, and went to the bar ourselves for drink refills (we were later charged for the drinks we'd already paid for - with no apologies). Our food took more than an hour- party of 3 - and it was NOT busy. We are easygoing people, not tough to please. We won't be going back.

    We had a wonderful evening. We sat right behind the live music and we’re still able to hold a conversation. The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable, Mary did an outstanding job and made the evening perfect. It was one of those magical nights. We’ll be back.

    The service was outstanding. Starters were very good. The entries were marginal at best and the Sea Bass was soggy. Desserts were satisfactory but no real variety. I have been going there for years an now I am disappointed. Not sure I would make the drive again.

    Overall experience was wonderful. We ordered the French onion au gratin soup, great taste but there was a excessive amount of cheese. My wife enjoyed a dry white wine and I had two chai teas that were very delicious; cold and hot. My wife ordered the filet mignon and it was slightly over cooked but she said it was still very good. I ordered the sea bass and it was yummy, I loved the sauce and rice pairing with it; could have a slightly larger filet. Our assigned waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The weather was gloomy and rainy; there was no outdoor seating for the evening but we still got to enjoy the garden atmosphere with a few couples photos.
