   Lovely evening but pricey. Also, be prepared to be questioned by the staff in the lobby if you are waiting for someone or are early for your reservation. I don't have issues with how we were approached, just be prepared.

   Atmosphere was quiet which was what we expected. The food was excellent. Coffee was poured in such a way that the coffee urn was right in my face. I understand we are still concerned about people touching things, but the could have asked and it would have been preferred that the cup was picked up to refill it. I expected better.

    Made a reservation for my friend and I at Toca located inside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Toronto. Very relaxing ambiance, Fabulous meal, impeccable service…a must if you especially enjoy pasta! All our dishes were so tasty but their signature ricotta filled ravioli in a fresh tomato sauce as well as the gnocchi in a white sauce were melt in your mouth delicious!

    Having been spoiled with service at the end of November, my daughter and I returned with my wife. Seated, again, in Ali’s section, we were treated to exquisite service. Ali remembered my daughter and her dishes from the last time. Each menu option was explained to the last detail: to have a curated tour of the menu made ordering easy—my wife, the ravioli; my daughter, the pesto pasta; me, the carbonara pasta; salad to share and a mushroom soup (do this) to start. You can’t make a mistake ordering with the care and attention these servers give. We were further spoiled with desserts: the almond tart, chocolate tort and tiramisu, shared, comprise a finishing trio that can’t be beat. This is a seriously great restaurant, with outatanding service. We thought our experience in November would be matched (which is why we went back) but we were floored that it was bested. Do yourself a favour and go.

    This brunch is absolutely amazing, a little on the pricey side but worth every penny! If you love seafood you will love the restaurant..it's full of fresh lobster, shrimp, crab , mussels and clams amongst many other hot dishes !

    The food quality is still great and the service is excellent. While the price has increased 100% the food selection has decreased - if you eat a lot of seafood this will be reflected in the value.

    Usually love this place but the New Years dinner was disappointing. The wine pairings and dessert were divine but the appetizer was bland and the vegetarian option for dinner was lasagna, which was sad to see. It lacked creativity and flavour. The dinner portion sizes were laughably small for my partner and again, mediocre at best. Not worth the price at all, we were really let down by this experience.

    That was a wonderful experience. We were served by a lovely gentleman Luis. He created an amazing experience for us on our special occasion. The food is delicious. However, by the end of the night we realized that we spent 60$ only for a bottled water. Next time gonna check if tap water is available. Ahahah that’s okay though, we had lots of fun!

    We went for their Christmas evening (Dec. 25) three-course dinner. Our server was fantastic. I wish I had their name. The other support (host, table servers, etc.) were also very kind and professional, not stuffy or pretentious. Their attention, along with the mellow live music made for a great evening. And importantly, dinner was outstanding. From an earthy seasonal vegetable soup with hint of bone marrow, to beautifully prepared tender cod with farro, to the turkey roulade with bright and savory touches, to the amazing panettone, we enjoyed our meal from start to finish. We also enjoyed the two Negronis to start, which were excellent. We selected Toca because there were few options for Christmas Day, and we are so glad we did. We would gladly return for another great meal any evening. Thank you!

    Our server, Ryan, was very attentive. Only complaints were related to food and beverage, furniture, and the noise. One of my mimosas arrived totally flat, with barely any fizz. I chalked it up to be that too much OJ was added, but then ordered a second mimosa and it was actually how it’s supposed to taste — boozy, fizzy and citrusy. The food, while “made to order”, came out cold. The only hot part of the meal were the deep fried potatoes. My partner and I had to switch seats as they felt the legs of the chair were giving out, and the upholstery was falling apart and shredded… not very Ritzy if you ask me. During our dining experience, someone came barrelling through with a cart in what appeared to be preparations for their brunch service (which they called me about to inform me they needed the table back within 1h15m). This was quite noisy and disruptive, and then some loud bang/smash came from someone I believed to have dropped something. My only recommendation to would-be diners is to arrive much earlier in the morning when they aren’t setting up for events right around your table. It was disappointing to say the very least, but we chose not address any of our concerns as it was Christmas Day. Better luck next time, I guess.
