   The ambience was pleasant. The piano player was a nice touch. The food was good. The waitress was polite. Overall the experience was good. It wasn't outstanding in any way, but it was a place that I would consider eating at again. It made a nice venue for a first date.

   My family went for the first time ! Great ambiance and the service was good? Food came out fast and the food was good ! I got parmigiana chicken and it’s one of my favorite Italian dishes but I’ve had better ! We will be back though ! The piano was nice to hear !

   Food as always good, but we all noticed a lot less portions. Normally some of take some home to eat later. very little left last night. one piece of veal versus two pieces. the catfish with Schrimp toping had one small catfish piece and one Schrimp. Not what we expect from this first-class restaurant.

   Our overall experience was indifferent. Because we were looking for authentic Italian cuisine and based on reviews and pictures, I overestimated the experience I thought we would have for my son's 20th birthday. First, we were seated, and our drink order was taken. Drinks came out. Two of the four had floating stuff in it, including greasy mix. I was so thirsty that I drank my drink before it was noticed. The waitress came to take appetizer order. We wondered and asked about bread, which we didn't know if they were offering bread at this restaurant. Our waitress told us that it was coming. We ordered our food and began to engage in some conversation. She forgot the menus after ordering , so when the bread came, we handed them to her. Then, before we knew it, our food was coming out. We were just amazed how quickly it came out that we know it was not a cook to order situation here. The waitress didn't offer to refill the $3 drinks and charged us for the ones with grease and debris in it. The manager took care of it however. We ate our food, but the taste and quality also wasn't expected. There was no taste of seasoning. The sauce tastes as it is just emptied from the jar, warmed, and put over the pasta. It doesn't tastes as if it's actually cooked with Italian spices. Overall, our experience wasn't the best, but we were expecting the better I guess. The indifference comes at the notion that this maybe a typical expectation for locals patronizing this restaurant. Weve just had better and because it doesnt meet our expectation, others may enjoy. Hopefully the drink situation is an isolated incident.

    A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Don't be fooled by the drab exterior-- inside is a wonderful, retro oasis. Nice manageable menu, with a variety of choices. Try the crispy chicken over angel hair with the creamy Alfredo. The artichoke soup is fabulous. Service is prompt and unobtrusive.

    This was the best meal we’ve had in NO. Been to all the fancy places and haven’t been all that impressed. Noises, crowded and service just ok. Mandino’s had them all beat. It was quiet and we were able to have conversation without yelling over the crowd. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Will definitely recommend.

    Love this place for their consistently delicious food and friendly, attentive service. Don't forget to buy a jar of Red Gravy before you leave, because you'll need something to hold you over until your next visit! So good and worth the trip to the Westbank!

    This Thursday night they were not on their usual game on a busy weekday prom night. Usually I'd give them a 4 across the board as this is one of my favorite restaurants. Food was delicious except the rolls were just meh kastle burger like rolls, & we were offered & charged for olive oil that never came. I also had to ask several times for my wine to be refreshed. The staff was friendly but not as responsive as one would expect for the price point. We 3 collectively had (1) eggplant appetizer, Redfish, Lasagna and Tuna, (1) side salad, (1) turtle soup, (1) gelato, (1) Raspberry Gin fizz, (2) glasses Pinot Grigio...$152 plus tip for $182 total.

    Great off the beaten path Italian Food!!! Thursday was half price bottle of wine night, and we got a wonderful Rose for an even better price!! The meatball trio, chicken Lindsey grace and espresso with ice cream were our favorites!! Lovely handmade birthday note too!!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We were 3 adults and one child plus a take out order. Our glasses never got more than half empty before someone was refilling them. The food was outstanding and our waitress made great suggestions. We enjoyed light piano music but were still able to converse in a normal tone of voice. We will be back on our next trip to NOLA

    The food was amazing. The artichoke soup was a 10, the redfish piccata was excellent but too expensive. I had a signature drink that was lovely. I think the server could have given us the back story of the restaurant & told us the specials. It was our anniversary & first time there. I felt a bit rushed & we didn’t get a champagne toast or a dessert or anything. I will be back but it’s a bit pricey for nothing I haven’t had before. I was great full for a nice restaurant on the West Bank.
