the exquisite quality of the ingredients well pared together not over powering the sauses were delectable * the layering of the dishes* its was so Yummy we will be back
The new menu is not quite as shareable as the previous one (loss of sushi and the great vegetarian dumplings) but Torafuku is still a great spot for couples and groups.
Amazing food and cocktails! Make sure to try the Grreen Lamborghini cocktail - perfectly balanced, complex and exciting flavours.
I love the fried chicken and the poutine i order but to be honest the main course doesnt attract me as much. I may go for another veggie and try dessert.
Had the Chai cocktail it was light and refreshing. Duck confit poutine is a fantastic twist on the classic. Order Finding Dory - the cream sauce is amazing.
Sensational! The Halibut, wagu beef and Brussels sprouts were all delicious with flavours and presentation that were flawless. One of the best dining experiences we had in a long time. Thank you
Menu slightly changed which was much appreciated as it led to us trying new dishes. We were celebrating a birthday and received a free delicious dessert. As usual, incredible food and great service
Tasty, but very expensive as portions are tiny - is nouvelle cuisine back in style? We left hungry after sharing 6 dishes amongst 4 people.
Cocktails were excellent.
Decent food but nothing too special.
Very slow service and had to wait too long for food.
Great flavours and textures with an East meets West. Yummy but restaurant will not accommodate guest's religious food limits, eg omit pork from a dish.
Awesome but service could have been a bit friendlier and faster.
Went there with the GF on a Saturday night. Service was perfect...our server gave great cocktail and food suggestions. All plates are meant to be shared. Food was creative and interesting. Cocktails were amazing. Had the Green Lamborghini cocktail and it was one of the best cocktails I had ever had. I would highly recommend Torafuku.
It was awesome. Had reservations and they had a table ready for us. Best chicken wings in the city!
Amazing flavors, ingredients, and unexpected, creative combinations. Great meal every time.
Awesome food, ambiance, service, vibe. Definitely recommended.
Food was good and inventive but extremely overpriced.
We liked the ambiance and the food. We just found the portion a bit on the small side for some of the dishes.
Great food and drinks to go for some shared plates. It is also family friendly with it’s open concept space. We take all our guests and visitors to eat there.
Very good at their flavour profile: rich/umami, sticky/sweet. But all dishes ordered hit that same note - lacking in finesse, acid balance.
Names of the dishes are enough to make you want to try this place out. The food was amazing. Definitely worth coming back.
I love meeting here because the setting is just right. It's perfect if you have a group of people and you are looking to have some sharing plates! The drinks are spot on and the music isn't too loud. I will be eating here often!
My husband and I were there for a dinner. We tired the tasting menu. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. I could tell the restaurant uses good materials, but all the dish were overly salted so that I could not taste the goodness of fresh ingredients. The wings and the cocktails were outstanding though. I think the price of the tasting menu is overpriced for what it is.
In Vancouver from Toronto for the weekend and we wanted to try a new place. We were definitely not disappointed. The chicken wings were one of the best chicken dishes we’ve ever had. I’m not normally a fan of duck but the duck was absolutely amazing. We sat at the bar and the girl making drinks was extremely friendly, as was our server. Would recommend 10/10 times.
The food was great! Have a great balance of taste. Would recommend to friends and family. The only thing was we didn’t get our drink until the second dish came. Other than that, I love the vibe. A very cozy place to have a night dinner at.
We had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were excellent. Tasting menu was really good - gave us a range of interesting flavor that wasn't entirely dependent upon red meat. Left not overfull but extremely satisfied with our choice. Would go again although reaches the upper limit of the meal budget.
Did not love sitting in the corner otherwise it was Good!
Delicious and fresh Asian fusion cuisine. Some of our favorites include the roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli with roasted chick peas Nd balsamic glaze (so good we had two orders!). The duck was tender and flavorful. And the golden beet salad was amazing,. The dishes are meant to be shared. The cocktails were interesting and delicious. We’ll come back for sure!
Second time visitor to Torafuku and happy with the consistently flavourful and inventive food choices and quality service. We will be back again.
The food and service was good, but I think it’s overpriced...
Delicious and very interesting menu. Steak was superb. Uni Corn dish also excellent! Great cocktails. Highly recommend.
We were wowed by the creative dishes on offer at Torafuku. We chose the Uni Corn
and Poutine??? , and finished sharing a Magic Stick.
This pan-Asian restaurant really hits the spot.
The menu was so appealing that another visit to try other courses is on the cards.
I could not get enough of the Uni- Corn featuring garlic buttered prawns. My dining
partner's Poutine??? was a real winner. Duck Ragout was the chief component of this dish but the unlikely appearance of
Tempura Polenta stole the show.
Desserts under the heading "Happy Ending" were limited to two but they hit the
bulls-eye again with a delicious rendition of Chocolate Granache named Magic Stick.
Friendly service and value for money prices only served to enhance our experience on the night.
LOVE the Rabbit Food, the buttermilk dressing and crunchy bits are such a good combo. The spot prawn pasta dish was also very tasty. Cocktails were perfection, first time I've had the Emerosa (pink one) with the jasmine tea and strawberries. Service was perfect, our server was helpful with food and drink suggestions.
My husband and I went on a Friday night at 5:30pm. The early seating was great because it was empty upon arrival but completely full by the time we left. Overall, this was a great restaurant if you haven't been before and happen to be in the area. We tried the tasting menu, really enjoyed General Tao’s Fried Chicken Wings, Everyday I’m Brusselin’, Magic Mushroom and the steak pieces in The Donald. Cocktails were delicious and the dessert was okay. The only other part that really stood out was a pretty good old school song list.
I was a huge fan of Torafuku when it first opened. The menu and service were both great. The menu has changed quite a bit and the food wasn’t nearly as impressive. The server didn’t seem very engaged; she didn’t explain anything with the menu until asked and didn’t seem very friendly. She also brought the payment machine before we had our cards out/were ready to go. As a server, this is a big no no! I wish the food was more exciting as well. Overall, mediocre experience.
Beautiful food, interesting cocktails, welcoming, professional staff. Great atmosphere.
Very tasty food
Food was good but definitely not worth the price on the menu. This was more low mid range value. The set menu was ok.
very accommodating with their group menu when one of our party was a child. Drink specials!
I highly recommend this place. We had the tasting menu and everything everything everything was absolutely delicious. It was a great place to visit with friends and slowly enjoy an awesome meal without having to be rushed out of there.
