My friend and I had made reservations to come for high tea. From the initial greeting to being sat at our table, and being served, was just outstanding, and then when the food came, it was so delicious. We are so pleased we have now found our new place to have tea and sandwiches. We will definitely be back!

The server was welcoming even tough we were late for our reservation. She had a lovely warm smile that we really appreciated. The food was fresh and delicious !!!! We will be back thank yiu!!!

Ambiance for a place that serves high tea could be improved (not sure what was intended with cheap styrofoam lemons in a glass jar as a table decoration?). Wobbly fake marble tables and bank of black vinyl booth type seats make for more of a cheap cafeteria vibe than even a moderate, ‘high tea’ experience. The tea menu was good and my choice from that menu (Earl Grey with Lavender), excellent. The food was serviced on a basic 3 tiered server. Sandwiches were good, scones were raspberry/peach with small pots of clotted cream and raspberry jame I’d have preferred a traditional plain scone perhaps with two pots of cream and/ or a specialty jam/fruit compote as a nod to the season over a flavoured scone. The top tier of sweets included 5 sweets per person - the icing on the ‘baby cakes” was FAR too sweet and ruined the flavour of the cupcake itself. Other sweets were ok. Over all the experience and food were not of the quality I was expecting for the $35/pp cost and I don’t expect I’ll return.

Everything was nice..food was decent although the crackers were soggy and some of the bread on the sandwiches you could tell had been sitting out a bit as they were not quite fresh..we were later in afternoon so could have been last on the platter, overall nice way to spend the afternoon

The location and restaurant were charming and lovely. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. The scone was one of the best that I have had. We did not have high tea but I saw one at another table and it looked amazing. Our sandwiches were perfect. Highly recommended.

Very cute, comfortable cafe, all of the high tea eats were delicious! Good portions...one thing I don't understand is why you couldn't change to a different tea if you wanted to try different ones, unless they are different prices, but I think there were a few priced the same but you were stuck with one flavour. Otherwise, excellent for a special occasion!

Had high tea for 3. This was our second one here. Food was good the servers were responsive to out requests for more water and tea condiments. Would do this again. We have done the high tea at The Empress and this is good for something local in comparison The scones Devonshire cream and jam are our fav part along with the little triangle sandwiches. Number of deserts are plentiful and we ended up taking some home.

Very tasty high tea! The tea itself was incredible, and the food was delicious. Staff seemed busy, understandably so, and the interior was beautiful, except for the pre-orders and new (?) fridge sitting to the side of the counter.
