Nice relaxing atmosphere. Nice entertainment by a man with a lovely voice who sang easy listening songs, played soft guitar and some christmas songs. Food and wine was delicious and reasonably priced. This may be our new go to for authentic italian food. We ate indoors but there is outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

First time in to the trattoria...nice job renovating by new owner. Service was excellent, food same. Parking is an issue which can be overcome by public lot access the street. Looking forward to our next visit.

Won’t be back. It’s too bad, because the restaurant is very quaint. Waitress tried hard but the kitchen needs to pay more attention - how could a piece of lasagna be served blackened and so tough you couldn’t cut through it? Rest of food was mediocre at best.

The food was as delicious as always. I had the grouper with an absolutely wonderful sauce with capers. The antipasto was a level above most menus I have tried, including eggplant, prosciutto, artichoke , olives and exquisite cheeses. My favorite pizza is wild mushrooms with truffle oil. The home made bread is “mamma Mia”. My husband ordered three desserts so he would have one the next day because he couldn’t make up his mind. (Try the pear with mascarpone!) We went on Saturday and they had live, soft Italian melodies, which was very pleasant, and still allowed a conversation. The two Lindsays who wait on tables have great personalities and provide excellent, friendly service. The trattoria is a winner!

This is becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Cape Coral! Nice cozy place with great relaxing music. Pasta is always homemade and delicious! Love the Alfredo. Had it with really large size pink shrimp and it was very good. Everyone loved their meal. We have never had anything that we didn't like at Caio's!

First the live music was a nice surprise. I had veal marsala over angel hair pasta and it was very good. Nobody in our group was disappointed with their dinner. We had a moderately priced bottle of chiante and it was delicious. It takes a good understanding to keep live music soft enough to enable table conversation. The guitar player / singer did just that.

This is an intimate and smaller venue with limited parking. Nice outdoor patio for dining. There was no hostess on duty when we went and it felt slightly disorganized. No water, no salt and pepper just little things that if more staff was there would not have been overlooked. The food was fabulous, my chicken parm was delicious, my wife had the shrimp and spinach lasagna, also great. Ceasar salad was fresh. Our server was super nice, it was busy and she was caring for multiple tables and to go orders. Amaretto crème brûlée was delicious according to my wife. Pricing was good for food received. Wine, no juices or mixers so my wife got Prosecco instead of a Mimosa. Tables are spaced out, low noise, nice music , nice local restaurant. Suggest making reservations due to the small size of the restaurant.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner last night. Our server was fabulous, there was a singer, playing the guitar and singing, low in the background, making it so enjoyable. The food was delicious. Truly enjoyed our dinner, and will definitely go back.

We've eaten here several times before, as ii is a good location to meet friends from the Naples area (we're from the Sarasota metro). Last night, the food and service were outstanding, as is usually the case. My pork Osso Bucco was tremendous, fall-off-the-bone tender and very tasty. My wife and friends very much enjoyed their meals as well, which included a chicken and shrimp dish and a small pizza. Lindsey was an attentive, highly competent server. Our inside table was comfortable. The only drawback (especially for someone with a hearing issue) was the live music. It made conversation challenging. From the outside, the restaurant seems a bit blah. Don't let the first glance deceive you. Trattoria Ciao is an outstanding restaurant!

Restaurant is small, comfortable and noise level low, but then Only One other table of 2 were in the restaurant entire night we dined. Staff were very polite and food came out shortly after ordering. Prices ok, glass of wine , Very Fair in price unlike so many restaurants these days. Now About the Food....Which was just OK. The dishes were plenty, but Nothing to Rave about or write and outstanding review over. The restaurant needs to focus on MAKING INCREIBLE FOOD THAT will get Persons Talking So they Stay in Business. Only one other table of 2 all night on a Thursday in a busy city, is not a Good Sign. I would try other Italian restaurants before returning to this restaurant to be fair.

Love this place and can’t wait to go back! It has such charm and the food was excellent! I would love to walk back in for how amazing it smelled! In the past I just have driven by this place several times without seeing it. Well I’m glad we finally decided to go! We will definitely return!

Excellent- good atmosphere. Excellent the parking is a bit of a challenge but overall it was excellent. I’ve been going to this restaurant for several years and although it’s under new ownership, it is still the same excellent quality food and atmosphere as before.

Welcomed as soon as we walked in and promptly seated. Quick to take drink orders. Bruschetta was delicious. Some issues with wine not available but a nice list to choose from Chianti chicken and shrimp scampi dishes were liked by all. Finished with limoncello cake Very enjoyable evening. Will be back
