   Always a good meal with excellent service. Specifically like the tricolore salad, pasta with clams and lasagna. Good wines by the glass, as well. Have eaten here many times.

   We enjoyed a delicious meal while staying warm on a cold night under the heaters. This was a return visit and we and our friends look forward to dining there again. Very accommodating of gluten free diner as well —even a gluten free dessert. Great wine by the glass selection too, red and white. Service could not have been better.

    On a rainy winter night, we were able to have a lovely dinner on their outside patio under heaters. Service was excellent, the food was delicious and the wine list varied and reasonable. Plus they were very accommodating of gluten free diner. Overall it exceeded our expectations. A great neighborhood find!

    I have walked by this restaurant for years and never tried it. What a mistake. Very good food and service. I can especially recommend the crab cake appetizer; simply(not heavily) seasoned without filler. Delish!!

    I am a fan of Trattoria Il Gusto, ordering delivery throughout the year, and going to the restaurant with friends from the city and out of town. The food is very good as is the service. Last night I had dinner with two dear friends from London. We all enjoyed our meal; less so bursts of noise emanating from a table next to us where approximately 6 guests who'd arrived an hour after we did, and created a din which exploded, then subsided, exploded again, then subsided like ocean waves except it was jarring instead of calming like the ocean wave. We dined outdoors and didn't try to change our location so late into our time there.

    Nice little place on the UWS. Food was good. Surprised that there wasn’t more of a selection of wines by the glass since this is a wine bar. A bit disappointed by the special app of prosciutto wrapped figs in Gorgonzola sauce. Dish was barely cooked, figs still cool inside and prosciutto too thickly cut for my taste.

    One of our favorite restaurants and better than ever! We took a friend for his birthday dinner there and enjoyed everything--tricolor salad, Caesar salad, and fennel salad; salmon, Chicken Marsala, and the special grouper. Then we splurged and each ordered the great tartufo. Good service and pleasant atmosphere.

    It's my second time at Trattoria Il Gusto and it was just a pleasure. I had Pescatore with squid ink pasta with mussels and shrimp. The pasta was just perfect, just al dente enough. The red sauce was very mild and matched the fresh seafood wonderfully. Our servers were extremely pleasant and efficient.

    Love this place. Because of Covid I only eat on the lovely spacious patio, tables are nicely separated and it's a covered space so no need to worry if it rains. The food is very tasty and plentiful.

    Nice ambiance and good service but disappointing food. Ordered a salad, appetizer, special pasta and special chicken dish. Past was overcooked. Salad was meh. App and chicken were very bland and under seasoned.
