   Great local gem. Low key and honest value. Unpretentious and simple but earnest. Highly recommended from an Italian Calabrese. Having grown up in Toronto but left a long time ago, Toronto needs more places like this so you should come often and tell friends.

   The manager is great and made up for the downsides. But some of the dishes were disappointing because the figs and tomatoes weren’t ripe, or the dishes were served without cutlery or in the wrong order.

    We wanted a special dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. It was everything we’d hoped for and more! Food and wine were amazing, with very good service and a cozy, warm ambience. We’ll definitely be back!

    Excellent atmosphere, laughter and smiles from the crowd! Loved it. Will definitely go again and again! Our waitress Katie went on and beyond to service us our spectacular authentic Italian meal. It brought me back to Italy the pizza was unforgettable. And don’t forget to try the orange salad!

    Our server Kate was Outstanding! Very attentive, accommodating & very personable! Need to have same glassware used for drinks; I had my first aperol spritz in a wonderful stemless wine glass - second came - smaller rock glass & presentation & taste off! Tiramisu 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    A phenomenal place, a must try! Authentic Italian food, equivalent to the flavors of italy. Ambiance gives you a taste of southern Italy. And the service is amazing. It is a win-win on all levels.

    Great little eatery close to home. You can tell the authenticity of the Italian food that they serve. Only downside was that our mains were brought to the table at separate times so my food went cold waiting for my partner to get his meal. Regardless would definitely would go back.

    We came here fory birthday. Food was excellent. Service really good. Nice atmosphere. We’ve gone to other restaurant that normally give you a small dessert for a special occasion but got nothing here which was a little disappointing. It’s always nice when a special occasion is acknowledged, especially when it’s noted at the time of booking. Overall though, we really enjoyed it.

    Taverniti north is the best restaurant ever! Everything about it. The food, the service, the ambiance, amazing! The severs were so attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a homey vibe, great meal and a fun night!
