Two couples had an early dinner (5:30) on a Friday night. When we arrived it was early enough that much of the tables were still empty but as the entire small space filled up, so did the noise level. Our waitress, Victoria, was excellent. The Cesar salad was good, nothing special. We all enjoyed our entrees, portions were adequate, not overwhelming. We were disappointed to find that they had run out of the lemon dessert (so early?) so we ordered tiramisu (very good) and two of the different cakes (good but a bit commercial). We should have skipped desserts and saved the $10 for each one of them. We were not thrilled to be told we only had 5 or 10 minutes at the end because there was another reservation for our table. Overall, I would recommend Trattoria Valona, maybe check it out of a less busy night.

Food is outstanding the best Italian in the neighborhood We have gone two night in a row and have not been disappointed. The service is great and you can BYO This will be come our Friday Night spot for sure. Make sure you make a rezzy fills up quickly!!!!

Our experience was awesome! The only thing is that portions seemed to be small but pricing was a bit high for the amount. I loved that I didn’t have to box anything and I wasn’t stuffed. But pricing was as I said slightly higher than I expected. But that being said I would absolutely go again. Food was excellent and service was the same.

First visit and very satisfied. Service and ambiance was upscale. Grilled vegetables appititizor was excellent and enough to share. Grilled grouper and shrimp special, the salmon from the menu were both excellent and more than adequate. Made another reservation for next week.

The food was exceptional. It was not over salted. It was prepared with perfect balance in mind. The ambience was what one might expect from a neighborhood, Italian restaurant, and the service was exceptional. I will go back again and again.

The food was delicious however the menu is a bit limited. I would love to see more appetizers on the menu. Also I think that they should include the price when explaining the nightly specials. We will definitely be back!

Food was excellent, and service was perfect (cheerful, competent and timely - when do you ever get all 3 these days?) I always order chicken marsala when I try a new place, and this was perfectly cooked and the sauce was exactly right. Arancini appetizer was tasty as was the cheesecake dessert. Prices are on the high end of moderate (2 meatballs to add to a dish are $11, 2 arancini are $12), but BYOB helps with that. Place was absolutely spotless. Would absolutely recommend.

This is a family owned business that treats their customers like family. Our waitress was the owner’s daughter and she was beyond delightful!!! Everything is homemade and made to order. There is no accommodation they won’t make for you. We will definitely be back again and I advise you to make a reservation.

I took my daughter here for her birthday. She, well both of us had difficulty choosing from the menu. It all sounded so good! We were very happy with what we decided on. Our taste buds were doing the happy dance! The food is outstanding in taste and presentation. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The ambiance is relaxing and enjoyable. We will be there again.

First visit to this local restaurant. All four of our meals, including appetizers & salads were delicious. Portions were just right. Perfect spot to catch up with friends & have lots of opportunity for chatting without fighting noise. We will return.
