Treadwell offers indoor dining, as well as outdoor dining on our enclosed and heated patio. We are open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Dinner reservations are available for two seatings - between 5pm and 5:45pm; as well as between 8pm and 8:45pm (with each table allocated 2hr 45min). Please note that our menu for dinner is a four-course, prix fixe menu ($105 per guest). Lunch reservations are available between 11:30am and 2pm, with our lunch a la carte menu being offered. Breakfast is served between 8am and 10am

    Overall food was excellent. My only complaint is I paid extra to have filet and lobster. Filet was very good. Cooked perfectly, however lobster was over cooked. I told waiter and he indicated he would advise cook. I was disappointed they continued to charge to additional fee given I was not able to eat any of the lobster.

    Excellent as usual; however, I wish that it weren’t a set menu as the four courses are way too much food. If I could just order one plate I would eat at Treadwell more often

    The food was very good and a lovely overall experience. Server was knowledgable and made good recommendations. Wine selection was excellent and highlighted Niagara Region. Only downside was the servings were on the large side for a four course meal. They could have been half the size and I would have still felt I got the value for my money. Overall a lovely experience and nice restaurant.

    Dinner was a four course meal each with an interesting variety to choose from. It also was good value in these days of high restaurant prices. We went very off-season but the restaurant was fairly full. The service was pleasant and efficient. I had a mushroom vol-au-vent which was very tasty and the duck which followed was also very good. I would not hesitate to go back to Treadwell the next time we are down in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

    My husband & I celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Treadwell. Overall dinner was lovely! We were seated very quickly & served sparkling wine on the house acknowledging the special occasion. Even though the restaurant was busy, we could still have a conversation without having to raise our voices. Our server was very warm, friendly & knowledgeable. The first through third courses were delicious! There were only 2 things that kept our review from being 5 stars across the board - my dessert, an apple crumble tart, had a tasty filling but the crust was very tough instead of being flaky. Secondly, as the restaurant was very busy our server was not as attentive as expected in a restaurant of this caliber and we had to flag them down to get drink refills and coffee with our dessert at the end of the meal. Despite this, the evening was wonderful and we hope to make a return visit in the future.

    We went to celebrate a birthday and we’re truly happy with everything at treadwell. We sat at the counter where the cooks were very kind and knowledgeable. They started us off with a black garlic butter and bread which was amazing and had crazy depth to the flavour. We ordered the beef tartare, scallops,pork belly, duck, and the lamb shoulder. Each were beautifully plated and tasted amazing. Zero complaints. Service was quick and kind. Would highly recommend.

    You can't go wrong with Treadwell. We have been a number of times through the years and it is consistently excellent. We did the 4 course tasting menu Nov 15th, 2023 and it was outstanding. Each course was delicious and the staff was very attentive. If you are in the area this is one of our favourite restaurants in town and we are discerning diners when you are out paying for a quality meal.

    Our meal and the service was spectacular! We were attending the Shaw, and they made sure we weren’t rushed but on time. The lamb was fantastic and desserts outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

    Wonderful, expertly prepared four-course meal. Service was very good. Menu at our seating featured a single price ($105 Canadian) for four courses, no a la carte ordering. Several different selections were possible for each course. We were not rushed. Large wine selection, some beer available and mixed drinks also. No separate bar service available (for example, if you arrive early and would like a drink.) A very good value for the level of preparation, presentation and taste. I will plan a return visit.

    Wide selection of Ontario VQA wines at good price points, plus a bunch of imported bottles. Go local! Lunch menu offers enough variety that most people should be satisfied, without there being an overwhelming number of choices. The lamb shank on cheddar polenta was divine. Very good service. It was notable that the server offered to split dishes for people at no extra cost.

    Wonderful food! Bug portions and really quality ingredients. We had a fantastic server who attended to our every need! The only minor downfall is how hot it is on that room. But seriously one of the best restaurants in Canada!

    We truly enjoyed our experience at Treadwell. The farm to table freshness was incredible. For those who aren't big eaters, this is a lot of food. Service was so good. It was noisy, but you get used to it. Every course was delicious. I think this is the type of experience that once you've done it, you're good. For us it was too much food and expensive.

    Our reservation was at the end of lunch service, so we were pretty much the only people there- it was a bit quiet and we missed the ambiance of a full dining room. Despite that, the food was delicious and presentation was too- esp the charcuterie board that was perfect fall theme. Really thoughtful and concise wines by the glass list (and extensive list by the bottle!) - with great Naigara wines! Elena was helpful with choices there (tho a bit shy for a Somm?!). Will try to come again at more popular time to get the full vibe. Nice to see James there as well.

    Dinner was great. The food was perfectly done and delicious. The service was top notch. We added the wine pairings and the sommelier was able to find great wines for me as I can not drink red wine. We will be back next time we are in town.

    We had the fix price menu which offered four or five choices for four different courses. The price was $105. 2 out of the 4 courses were delicious. The 2nd course was soup and it was flavourless. The dessert course was disappointing as well. Service was prompt and friendly but I noticed our server really didn’t want to know why I left most of my soup or half my dessert. He was somewhat ingenuous. The young men who delivered food from kitchen to table were very polite and friendly. The sommelier was not really helpful but perhaps our wine was not an interesting choice. Bartender made a super weak Aperol Spritz. They did bring me more Aperol when I asked for some. The noise level was too high for my comfort but it may be quieter depending on patrons. Lastly,when paying the bill the tipping options started at 20% and went to 30%. I find this very arrogant and presumptuous.

    Amazing food. Just amazing. Everything down to the bread and butter was amazing. Lost one star due to music choice. I would have preferred classical or something a little more upscale. Otherwise the experience was perfection.
