Rostizado is a lively spot for delicious food and mouthwatering drinks. There are tons of menu options for both vegetarians and meat eaters which is great. The staff is extremely friendly and the art inside is cool. I love it here, especially the unique queso dish. I’ll definitely be back even though I’m not from Edmonton.
Have to say I was a little disappointed. We had always skipped Rostizado in the past because of the food (my bf is Mexican) - I found it underwhelming. With the new menu I was super excited as we both love Tres Carnales. I failed to make sure the menu had Al pastor tacos or any quesadillas. We had stopped in to the old Rostizado for drinks, as I loved the margaritas over the rocks (hard to find a proper one). This time I actually asked for a double (second marg) and the waitress shocked me by saying it was. After my second I stopped drinking them because they tasted very water down for $25.00 per drink. We loved Mexican food and margs - but it really missed the mark for a $120.00 bill.

My new GO TO spot for tacos in YEG! I have been here three times in the past 10 days. Great new spin on the concept. Love the food, décor, service and atmosphere.
Previously, it was one of our favorite restaurants, but on this evening it was a bit of a miss. Service was incredible, but the foot was lack lustre. Meat over cooked and dried out.
Best margaritas we’ve had, food was excellent as well. Great night out
Dig the new vibes, atmosphere is on point. Food was to die for. Can’t travel right now but if you want a taste of Mexico go here.
You can always count on great quality food and drinks as well as a great, energetic vibe when you visit here. Staff is very professional and everyone appears to do a great job keeping their guests feel safe and comfortable.
