   High quality food just over salted all around. 6 dishes ordered and all had above average sodium levels even noticed by those that eat salty. My 6 year old finished an adult portion of ramen and my 10 year old ate the adult lasagna and was still hungry. So my wife gave up half her meal. I wish the portions were bigger and the food less salty.

   Meal was very disappointing. if there was rum in the mojito, it was hard to tell. The tuna in the poke bowl looked and tasted old. our side kale salads for $6 were so tiny it was ridiculous. My family used to love True Food, but everything has gone down hill. We wanted to sit outside, but they don’t even care enough to clean up the extensive amount of weeds in their flower boxes. (no flowers). We will not be going back. so sad.

   Our server was exceptionally good - competent, friendly, attentive. The noise level was crazy and we asked to be seated outside (in advance bc of one person’s hearing issues). The hostesses need some work - it’s a great and pricey restaurant and one expects some level of professionalism.

   First time visit for a birthday dinner. For some reason I’ve delayed trying True Food and I was really impressed. I ordered the charred cauliflower for a starter followed by the Teriyaki bowl with tofu. The mushrooms had a delicious umami flavor and was a nice contrast to the freshness of the mint and cilantro. For cocktails, I had the rosé sangria followed by the straws mojito. Both were so refreshing! After the meal, I didn’t feel the sluggishness that most restaurant meals cause. The ambience was elevated with a casual West Coast feel. Our server was very pleasant. Overall, this was a fantastic meal. It’s nice to have another veggie option in the burbs since the closing of Blue Sage Grille. I will absolutely be back!

   Food was very good. Service was great. It was very noisy in the restaurant. I was shocked when I received my bill and we were charged 5$ for every refill on the lemonade. Seems extremely pricey for lemonade.

   We were there on Mother’s Day. So perhaps not the best day for first impressions. But the service time to get basically any food was way too long. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, 4 of us finally got our main courses. But my wife’s pizza was a no show. We asked someone, and they said they would check. We were told it would be comped, which was good because when it finally came out, it was dry as heck. Our waiter did come over at one point and gave us a few gift cards, and told us the restaurant would comp our desserts as well. So, they handled the situation well. But I’m not sure we’ll be going back or not.

    We had a 5:45 reservation on Mother's Day. One person ordered the Korean Steak and we were told they were out of it. They should not been out of an item that early on a busy holiday. The Kale Salad had sand and lacked enough dressing. And we sat for an hour before our food came out. The server did apologize for the delay. The place was so noisy we could not hear each other. The food we had was good, albeit not what we really wanted. I doubt we will go back.

    Even though we made reservations, we still waited another 45mins to get seated. Then the food didn't come out for another hour. Each entree was around $20-30 per dish and they were all average to below average. We ended up going to shake shack across the street because some people in our group were still hungry. Kind of disappointed after shelling out $300+ on a meal. Probably won't be back unless menu/price/service changes.

    We went on Mother's day Weekend... It was a little slow service, but no fault of the waitress, she was doing her best and we were patient. After all it was Mother's day, and very crowded. We loved our food.. tasty and wonderful. I had the Koran noodles, which had just enough kick. We also, loved the cookies and ice cream, which was Vegan (super exited about that). Loved the open kitchen, and we were happy they put us in a booth to sit. all the staff members wished me a happy mother's day. :) All the fake plants around the place were very pretty and was a very nice touch! Our waitress was very friendly, as attentive she could be despite the crowd, and we left happy.

    It was Mother’s Day, so it was busy, which we expected. But the staff seemed to be struggling. Walking into the restaurant, the hostesses were at the front but completely ignoring everyone. I stood in front of one of them and she just stared at me. I told her we had a reservation and she said ok there’s no tables ready. So we were seated 10 mins after our reservation. We were understanding but then we waited another 20 minutes with no server acknowledging us, while everyone around us was helped. Finally I asked a server to find out who are server would actually be. She comes back 5 mins later apologizing saying she was our server. We had to ask her a couple times to get water and a high chair for our child. She was apologetic and nice but it was definitely frustrating. The food was good but the server could have been more attentive and the hosts could definitely be friendlier. I would go again in the future but not any time soon.

    Since it was Mother's day, it was extremely busy. The waitress and manager provided great service as usual, but the quality of the food was not as good. I believe the food prep staff might have been rushed. I would have waited longer for better food. I will treat this as a one off as True Food usually has amazing food!

    First time dining. Brought my mom and my boyfriends mother out for Mother’s Day an it was amazing. We sat outside an they accommodated my sister whom is in a wheelchair so she was comfortable. Our server was very friendly and was ontop of things. We will be coming back for sure.

    Went for brunch and was very disappointed. Service was not great and very disorganized. Waited about 40 minutes for the food to come out after ordering. Waitress never came to the table to update us or apologize for the delay. When the food came to the table they didn't know who ordered what dish. The food was luke warm. Waitress didn't ask if we needed any condiments. Once the food was on the table the waitress never came back to ask if we wanted anything else. Didn't even offer if we wanted dessert, coffee, or tea after the meal. Felt more like a fast food dining experience as opposed to casual dining.

    We went for Mother’s Day and our server was awful. My wife ordered the breakfast tacos (that do not come with meat), but the tacos that came out had chicken in them. The server never came to check and see if our food came out alright, so by the time he finally did come back to our table we informed him. He didn’t say anything just grabbed it and walked away. Then about 25 minutes went by with no corrected food or him stopping by to check. We saw him in the area, so we got his attention and told him to just cancel the tacos at this point and provide us with the check. A manager came by a few minutes later to talk to us and straighten it out, which was very nice. The server then came over to our table and just threw down our bill without saying anything. My wife and I are very patient, and I ever experienced anything like that out dining. He was absolutely terrible and very inconsiderate. A shame because Tru Food is a great place and has great food.

    The restaurant was incredibly noisy today, which made conversation challenging at times. The food took quite a long time to arrive to our table and our server wasn’t very prompt. While fresh and tasty, I found my garden scramble to be overly salty. I do appreciate the use of Vital Protein pasture raised eggs.

    Not surprising, but Mothers Day service was poor. Waitress put in one order wrong and tried to blame us. Food for 4 of 5 came out but wrong order never came out. She rolled her eyes when we asked for more water and iced tea. Generally poor attitude

    Great food and amazing service! It was just a bit loud in there for my mom on Mother’s Day. The music was on high volume and we sat near the kitchen so it was a bit of a struggle to talk. But True Food is amazing and I love it overall!!

    Our family enjoyed a delicious Mothers Day brunch on the patio. The six of us tried three different brunch specials and everyone had only positive things to say about the food. A great new addition to the key was the bison sausage!

    So happy they have organic, vegan and gluten free options. Love the variety of whole grains that are used in the dishes. True food offers flavorful and interesting vegan food that does not rely on heavy sauces and fried food, as so many other restaurants do.

    It has always been one of my favorite restaurants that is why I keep going back to give it a try. However, they just can't get it together. Our server was VERY pleasant. We waited 45 minutes before out appetizer came out. 75 minutes for our entree's . The food came out cold and my son's pizza undercooked. We did not want to send it back because we were so hungry and did not want to wait anymore. I love their veggie burger and order it every time and every time it comes out cold. We were charged errantly. The manager came and was very pleasant and apologized and fixed it. It is SO disappointing because I love this place and I just want to them get it right!

    We enjoyed the spinach and mushroom pizza, the pan seared Seabass, the six edamame dumplings each, we add an extra, and we had a custom juice mixed with fever tree cola, we had the strawberry cake and the pink lime tart. Our server was Sydney and she was asking us some very strange questions. But we love the manager, James, and he took care to make sure that everything we got was perfect and Within dietary restrictions. Fabulous guy! And the girl that we had as a new server, Sydney, seem to be a bit in a daze, but she did ask us some very good questions and made some very good suggestions, so we did appreciate all she did for us. It is one of the places that we keep coming back to because we really love those edamame dumplings!! We also love that the menu changes and there are new and exciting things to eat! James has a baby due with his wife the end of May 25, 2023 so we hope that he will still be there as often as he has been! What a great guy!! We will be back!

    Food is unique and well prepared. Drinks are unique as well. My only negative is that it feels like you are in a nightclub — even for lunch. The music is too loud and sounds like “club” music. I’m not an old prude — but when I want to meet up with a friend for a relaxing lunch, that’s not the vibe I’m looking for. Dinner time is even worse here.

    They were out of the first 3 things I tried to order. The manager apologized and did offer comped desserts. My meal, however, was so salty that it was barely edible. Overall, I appreciated the effort on the manager’s part but I was disappointed that what was supposed to be so healthy was so salty!

    A friend and I met for lunch on a rainy Sunday. The food and service were great. The place was much noisier than on any previous visit, so we had to talk loudly to hear each other. Other than that, it was a perfect lunch.

    I come here regularly and I was so disappointed with our experience this time. A friend and I came for brunch (her first time here) and I don’t think she’ll ever come back. Our server was lovely, attentive, made sure she wrote down everything we asked for for substitutions, and wasn’t intrusive (unfortunately I can’t recall her name). The drinks were great, as always. The issues were with our food. I’ve raved about True Food for ages and I don’t know if there was a new cook or different kitchen staff from the 20+ other times we’ve been there, but the food walks awful. I ordered the breakfast tacos, was told they were out, ok, no big deal, so I got the two eggs with hash and chicken sausage. The hash was inedible. The onions and sweet potato were mostly raw and charred on the outside and the eggs were a bit rubbery. My friend got the avocado toast with scrambled egg instead of sunny side. They didn’t scramble them at first, so it was returned and when they brought back her food, all they did was put the egg back in the skillet and flip it over back onto the toast. That’s not scrambled egg and despite being put back in the pan, it wasn’t fully cooked. Our server (really I can’t stress how wonderful she was) ended up not charging us for the avocado toast. Overall it was a very disappointing brunch when I’ve had nothing but high praise for True Food before this.

    First time there, loved the menu and our food and service were great however we couldn't hear ourselves talking it was so noisy in the larger dining room. Next time we'll request a quieter area if that exists.
