Our meal was excellent. Our server, Roberto, unfortunately did not let us know there were daily features. Luckily we heard the young lady serving the couple at the next table. My sister had the porchetta which she said was delicious and she meant it because she ate every bit! We had already had an order of the calamari with our excellent vodka martinis so I had the arancini (the other feature) for my entrée with a Caesar salad. Both were lovely!

The atmosphere was fantastic, we loved the decor…the food was great, however it took 40min to receive the main dishes…the appetizers were good, however if you are going to charge $7 for 1/2 slice of bread with oil and vinegar please don’t put it on the menu it was just sad. Server was amazing, however no person should have a section with 10 active tables. The dessert was amazing…so all in all great experiences with a couple of areas to improve on.

Our server was lovely and very friendly. We were so disappointed in the food however. The calamari was very small pieces and overcooked. The focaccia was thin sliced toasted bread which tasted like sour dough. The lamb shank was very tender but quite bland. Very disappointed in our neighborhood restaurant.

We enjoy Trullo, it’s location, decor, friendly staff and simple menu. The size of the venue is ideal and layout is conducive to conversation and small parties of people. Loved the lamb ragu on Gluten Free pasta, portions are perfect and such interesting and delicious pairing of textures and subtle flavours.

Good service , clean and nicely lit . Nice hot food and warmed plates. Food seemed pretty salty to us both especially the chicken dish . Noise level was in excess for us but happy to see a neighborhood gem doing well . Perhaps we had an off night for kitchen as it was very busy . I would say it was enjoyable but not memorable.

Our group of 4 sampled 4 different cocktails, shared 3 appetizers, and 4 different mains (3 pastas and the Arctic char), and we were all happy with our choices. The Trullo drinks and food menus are not extensive, and we enjoyed a pretty good cross section of it at our table. The calamari appetizer was the most tasty, closely followed by the olives, with the arancini in third place, but all good. Of the pasta mains, try the Ragú or the Veal Bolognese. The Arctic Char is very good for fish lovers. Our experienced waiter was top drawer, and should be commended for his patience with my rather persnickety table mate. The quiet atmosphere at Trullo is very pleasant. The inside of the restaurant is toned down, a bit plain looking, but kind of gives off a comfy vibe. It’s a nice place to dine and relax on a chilly autumn evening. One suggestion is to expand the selection of red wines available by the glass and bottle on the wine list. After all, it’s an Italian restaurant and a bit broader choice of reds from Tuscany, Piedmont, Umbria etc would be nice.

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious! I had the chicken breast entree and my husband had the lamb shank entree. We both thoroughly enjoyed every morsel and cleaned our plates right off. It’s not often I can do that so that says the portion sizes are perfect and the flavours are too notch! We will be back for sure! Our server Jeremy was a great guy, very professional but also very personable. We exchanged some pretty cheesy Dad jokes. It was a fun night on our 26th anniversary. Thank you!!

We had a great meal at a decent price. The place is popular…. The food was very good, but wouldn’t say outstanding…. Limited selection on menu…. After we ordered our dinner we heard the server telling the people next to us about the evenings specials. We were never told about them. But food was prepared well, nice and hot!! And service was very good.

We had a most enjoyable evening last night with a friend visiting from out of country. Our server, Luciano was excellent, very attentive but not overbearing. He just kept a watchful eye and when the glasses were low or empty, he was right there to refill with water or wine. He was personable and engaging and truly added to our enjoyable experience.

Trullo is an amazing neighborhood gem. The food is incredible - creative and delicious. The quality is top-notch and there are delicious specials on every visit. We highly recommend this restaurant, moderate price but worth every penny.

We tried Trullo Trattoria and we were very pleased with our meal and the service. We started with the Burrata and the Calamari and both were excellent. We had the Prawn Fettuccini and the Wild Boar Pizzette for our main course. The Prawn Fettuccini was excellent but the Pizzette was a little bit bland. We got some red pepper flakes and that made it much better. We will definitely be going back soon

I’ve been to Trullo three times. Lovely modern decor. Tasty, authentic Italian dishes. Pricey though. The table tops are marble and ours appeared to have never been wiped down - probably need a good scrubbing. My dish was not piping hot so the timing of getting dishes out hot might need work. Server was sweet and brought us wine samples.

Had high expectations and wasn’t disappointed. The olive cake for dessert is a must try - I don’t like olives and it was spectacular! Service was perfect & cocktails were very nice. Excellent food presentation and delicious flavours with everything cooked perfectly. Clearly these folks know what they’re doing and we will be back - regularly!

This neighborhood gem is great . I should keep it a secret but ….Our second visit and not our last when we have such great Italian food and waitstaff . Our foursome had lamb, char and chicken and no one was disappointed. They did a great job of accommodating my GF needs . The bartender and waitress had tremendous knowledge and delightful personality.
