We had a great meal at a decent price. The place is popular…. The food was very good, but wouldn’t say outstanding…. Limited selection on menu…. After we ordered our dinner we heard the server telling the people next to us about the evenings specials. We were never told about them. But food was prepared well, nice and hot!! And service was very good.

We had a most enjoyable evening last night with a friend visiting from out of country. Our server, Luciano was excellent, very attentive but not overbearing. He just kept a watchful eye and when the glasses were low or empty, he was right there to refill with water or wine. He was personable and engaging and truly added to our enjoyable experience.

Trullo is an amazing neighborhood gem. The food is incredible - creative and delicious. The quality is top-notch and there are delicious specials on every visit. We highly recommend this restaurant, moderate price but worth every penny.

We tried Trullo Trattoria and we were very pleased with our meal and the service. We started with the Burrata and the Calamari and both were excellent. We had the Prawn Fettuccini and the Wild Boar Pizzette for our main course. The Prawn Fettuccini was excellent but the Pizzette was a little bit bland. We got some red pepper flakes and that made it much better. We will definitely be going back soon

I’ve been to Trullo three times. Lovely modern decor. Tasty, authentic Italian dishes. Pricey though. The table tops are marble and ours appeared to have never been wiped down - probably need a good scrubbing. My dish was not piping hot so the timing of getting dishes out hot might need work. Server was sweet and brought us wine samples.

Had high expectations and wasn’t disappointed. The olive cake for dessert is a must try - I don’t like olives and it was spectacular! Service was perfect & cocktails were very nice. Excellent food presentation and delicious flavours with everything cooked perfectly. Clearly these folks know what they’re doing and we will be back - regularly!

This neighborhood gem is great . I should keep it a secret but ….Our second visit and not our last when we have such great Italian food and waitstaff . Our foursome had lamb, char and chicken and no one was disappointed. They did a great job of accommodating my GF needs . The bartender and waitress had tremendous knowledge and delightful personality.

Our first visit but not our last . Creative menu with obvious Italian emphasis. I ordered GF pasta and it was superb while my husband enjoyed his clam fettuccine and Olive Cake for dessert . The service was outstanding . I love dining in quiet restaurants and this restaurant delivered.

First time there. What a gem of a find. My wife had clam linguine which she claimed was the best she’d had (finished every bite!). On the recommendation of Luciano, hands down the best server we’ve had in years, I had the veal bolognese. A tad too salty for me, but otherwise perfect with that hint on nutmeg in every bite (finished mine too). Olive oil cake for dessert— moist, with delicious lemon filling and crema. A bottle of excellent Soave. Total $137 with tip. The wine prices these days are astronomical, but when the food, server and ambiance are so good, the bullet is bitten. We will definitely return. Luciano is originally from Mexico. His soccer team is Santos. He’ll appreciate it.

It was our first visit, but not our last. The food was fabulous! The service excellent and the waiter was very helpful with recommendations. We had a “Gluten Free required” diner and she was able to eat the most delicious pasta dish and desert. I can’t wait to go again!

Such a fun time connecting with friends in this beautiful neighborhood joint. We were a noisy table and I think we disturbed some guests around us, but we were all happy to see each other and moods were high. Will be back!!!!

Absolutely amazing.meal today! We shared the Beef Carpaccio as our appetizer, and both had the daily special as our entrée. The Scallops Risotto was superb! We have been to Trullo many times, and my sister and I agree that this was the best meal we have had there to date. The service at lunch was superb, our waiter, Alejandro attentive and professional. The lamb ragu was excellent as were the olives although they needed slightly more spice. If you are going to serve focaccia, it needs to be fresh daily! The name of the restaurant, Trullo, is a lovely choice, but very few people know what a trullo is. In Italy i trulli are a world heritage sight. You should have something in the restaurant that gives a clue to its name. Perhaps a dish with orecchiette which supposedly come from Puglia.
