   We had a wonderful dinner! Kathy our server was amazing, Adam the mgr checked in on us. It was my husband's birthday and everydish was delicious. Baked Alaska topped it off we felt truly special.

   A restaurant on the water that specializes in seafood…who could ask for more! We’ve been a couple times and the entire experience never disappoints. The Florida stone crab is amazing!

   We’ve eaten at Truluck’s many times, and they have yet to make any substantial changes to their menu. There is no whole fish selection; most of the fish has sauces of some sort, except for the fish listed under prime seafood, but there the selection is limited. The bar menu offers a smoked drink, but it’s not really smoked in the true fashion. A restaurant of this caliber should be more in tune with seasonal offerings and with a better bar. They push their crab claws, but the restaurant should not solely rely on that.

    Our server Taylor was great! Chris the Manager visits the table regularly to check if everything was ok. The food was excellent! It was an awesome celebration with a birthday surprise Baked Alaska from our server Taylor.

    The seafood here is outstanding! There is also a very impressive wine list. Our server was fantastic the setting is lovely. The one drawback… The noise level was exceptionally high even on a Tuesday evening. I really don’t see why music needs to be blasted out over every single table, especially when there is live music at the bar. We like to hear our conversations, and despite the excellence of this restaurant, in every other way, I question whether we would return. At a minimum, the restaurant should probably designate a portion of the restaurant, for “quiet tables“ where the speakers overhead can be turned off.

    Wonderful service both in the bar area & restaurant. We had shrimp cocktail & Yellowtail Ponzu. Dinner was Stone crab claws, Oyster’s Rockefeller & King Crab legs. We enjoyed it all.

    Lovely location, great atmosphere with beautiful views of the lake. Excellent service with nicely plated food. A great place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary. On the pricey end of restaurants, but still a wonderful place to treat yourself with lunch, dinner, or drinks out with family or friends.

    This was my first experience at Truluck's and it was a great one. The ambiance and decor is very nice, it's quiet, but I loved the live music in the bar. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel valued as customers. We are excited to make this a frequent destination. The food was well presented and tasted great. Overall very positive experience.

    Trulucks in the Woodlands is my wife and my favorite restaurant. This is why this review is a downer. Went there last night for my wife’s birthday and everything was perfect. Really enjoyed the seafood tower we created as well as the filet and the center cut king crab. Food was great (as usual) and service by our sever (Lee) was solid right up to when a table of 8 showed up after our main course. You could clearly see the dollar signs in his eyes. He immediately left our table and wasn’t heard from again. Being my wife’s birthday, we were wrapping up with a cake to complete this nice 3 hour dining experience. After leisurely consuming my cappuccino for 15 min, the server finally realized my discontent when I pushed the plates to the side of the table and put my credit card out. At that point, we were done with his poor service and ready to depart. When he arrived back at the table and tried to convince us to stay, he didn’t even attempt to apologize for his lack of attention or bring the manager over (if it had been an issue in the kitchen and not him.. which it hadn’t). We will absolutely return, but I hope this detail finds Truluck’s management as is used for improvement/correction. At a minimum, maybe this review will find other patrons who - if seated in Lee’s area - ask the manager for another server.

    Went to celebrate 2 wedding anniversaries. I don't remember our server's name, but she was amazing. The food was just ok. Had the Sea Bass. The special popcorn sauce saved. The table consensus was that everything was just ok. The table in the back with water view was nice. The singer was amazing. Great server made the difference.

    Top notch flavor, romantic or special occasion atmosphere, catered to from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave, our go to for a celebration. Don’t miss out on some of greatest flavors to hit your palette. The calamari and roasted veggies is a cant miss! The filet cooked medium is served with a half bulb of roasted garlic and a small dish of citrus salt. Please, please pluck a clove from the bulb, lightly dip it in the petri, and enjoy with each bite of your succulent steak. It’s mind-blowing.

    Seated at 7:30 and had been looking forward to crab claws as an appetizer, which were NOT AVAILABLE. Very disappointing given the window of time to plan for this event. Second course was lobster bisque and it was mediocre, not the most flavorful. Third course, I had lobster and it was cooked to perfection. My date had sea bass and ordered because it typically doesn't have a "fishy" taste. This fish definitely had a "fishy" taste, so I shared my lobster with him. Service was excellent, and chef did send two champagne chocolates and a small bottle of champagne to take home with us. I understand supply chain restrictions, I just feel like food was disappointing for the price point. Portions were adequate and atmosphere was festive and beautiful.

    The staff and atmosphere were fab as always! I wish I could say the same for some patrons! I wish no kids were allowed past 7! Their stone crabs were not delivered due to airline issues, which was a great disappointment to my husband. He looks forward to them each year on NYE. They did their best to be accommodating despite this.

    We went to their New Year Eve dining experience. The restaurant was very festively decorated and the ambiance was great. Obviously, being a New Year’s Eve, the place was packed; however, the staff and managers did an excellent job of keeping everything flowing. The food is always excellent and this evening was no different. The crab cake was pure crab meat and the lobster bisque was delicious. My entrée was a blackened red fish, which is my favorite! I had it twice within ten days. Unfortunately, there were no stone crabs available that evening; however, it was a logistical issue related to Southwest airline failing to deliver it in time due to the airlines ongoing fiasco. Chris, the general manager was very kind to stop by and explain the situation, which was truly out of his control. In my books, Truluck’s remains the #1 restaurant in The Woodlands beating all the steakhouses!
