   Food was good, just very small portions. And it wasn’t a lit vibe until 4pm so if you tryna do brunch and it be a chill vibe, go between 12-4.

   This spot is more of a lounge. We went here as a last minute resort for Mothers Day. The food was good but it didn’t come out all at once. They brought 2 plates (which was my son’s orders)then half of my husband and I order and it took them a long time to bring out the rest of our food. We were finished w the food before we could get the completed order!

   Wonderful Mothers Day brunch! Everything was great! Staff, food, service, ambiance, couldn’t ask for anything more. Only suggestion, the front door needs to be more clearly identified.

   Our waitress was great however the kitchen ran out of food and it wasn’t communicated to us. So many in my party didn’t receive their food.

   I was pleased beyond expectation. I celebrated my 50th birthday there and the service was amazing. I made reservation for 20 at 1:30 and everyone did not get there until after 2:00 pm. They didn’t rush us. I thought it was going to be a problem. The food was good and the prices are reasonable. They took the birthday cake and cookie in the beginning and came out with the Dj playing live music, the birthday song and had flashing lights. That was a very fun experience. My birthday brunch was awesome. The stated on the site that it can be only one check but they did break the check down. The only bad part was someone skipped out on the bill and my husband and I had to pay i. ( that was not the restaurant’s fault). Other than that the restaurant was great. I had great birthday experience.

    Had a nice time. The waitress was nice and she answered all my questions. It was brunch Saturday. I had the shrimp and grits which was okay. I had the chicken and waffle skewer, it was good and the Waffle House sandwich was good. My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits with greens and he loved it. They play Music so it’s a vibe. Oh yea and you pay $5 dollars to park.

    The food was great! Just prepared to pay to park your OWN car and your entire party must be there before you’re seated. In our case, we were there early and there was not many people in the venue…they should’ve seated us. So we sat at the bar until everyone came. Overall nice place with good drinks and food.

    My server was terrible food took to long to come out she never really checked on our table… she was forgetting our order..it took her 30 mins to take our order after we sat down

    Everything was amazing from the food to the service. Our waitress was very attentive. She checked on us frequently and made sure we were enjoying the options being presented. We went to taste the new menu, and I must say I was very impressed. The flavors paired with the drink, selections, and the ambience was definitely on trend, I can’t wait to dine here again.

    AMAZING! The food is delicious😋😋😋 Crafted with EXCELLENCE. I enjoyed the fried catfish bedded with creamy grits and well-seasoned collard greens... so delicious that you crave instantly for another bite. The ambience is a VIBE. Excellent music selection (dj plays your request too). Having brunch at Truth Midtown Restaurant will be a special memory for me & friends 💛

    The restaurant advertised Sunday Brunch with unlimited mimosas. Not only was there a time limit on the reservation, but after three glasses the waitress informed me (after asking) that they ran out of champagne. Not only was the waitress not attentive to our table, I spoke with a manager and was pacified into thinking the issue was resolved and we would be receiving the more champagne but that did not happen. The food and atmosphere almost made up for a bad experience, but I was not able to enjoy it fully. I will not be returning for a second disappointment.
