Such a beautiful atmosphere and the view is outstanding as well. The food was buffet style and delicious. We ventured down to the lounge after and bought some wine and liquor. We will definitely be back for Sunday brunch.
We’ve been to the brunch many times over the years and were excited to return. We were very disappointed in the experience as a whole. The food selection was very limited, unlike in the past. The eggs Benedict were hard boiled eggs. The servers at the buffet, while pleasant, were obviously trained to give very small portions. In order to get a nice size serving you had to ask for more at each offering. The “waitress” seemed rushed and stressed but ended up being friendly( after the crowd thinned out a bit). The mimosa choices were the best part of the meal. At $24 person ( without drinks), it was overpriced and lacking. What was a hidden gem in this area, as it is a beautiful facility, was a huge disappointment. Unfortunately we will not be back for brunch any time soon.
A definite must do! Perfect food and drinks great service and beautiful atmosphere and scenery
It was a wonderful, beautiful day and our service and food was excellent. The food was not as hot as I would have liked. Possibly because we were the first seating of the day.
The food had a succulent taste and flavor.. it was luke warm at best and plates were cold. The food needs to be hot.
Fantastic staff and wonderful venue. I will be returning
We didn’t want to leave. We had so much fun and such a relaxing day. Brunch was amazing everything was delicious. The views are gorgeous. Great variety of things to try for wine tasting. It was a perfect day and we are already planning a trip back very soon.
As always, exceptionally friendly staff, great service and good food.
Our brunch was delicious followed by wine tasting downstairs in the tasting room. We definitely would go back.
We were quick to be seated and attended to. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is beautiful.
Beautiful views, nice tasting room, and friendly staff. A nice place for a delicious sandwich and a sip of wine or spirits.
Great place for special occasions. Beautiful building and grounds. Jazz band during brunch was a nice touch.
It was brunch so only on a Sunday. Cost 25 dollars per person. Coffee not included that's 3 dollars exra.
Fabulous jazz band!
What an awesome day date with friends! It's beautiful... I am GF & there was plenty to eat. We can't wait to try dinner!
Food quality and variety was excellent. Excellent buffet servers gave peace of mind about germs. Friendly staff met us at the door and had our table ready with a highchair as requested.
Excellent experience! Staff worked hard. I would eat here again!
Very enjoyable evening on the terrace with live music. Briana (our server) was very attentive, even as the crowd grew, and accommodating.
Always amazing experience and the wine tasting after just topped of the experience
Great food! Live music and lots of interesting wines and spirits to sample. Beautiful scenery as well.
Our server was inpatient while we were looking over the drink menu. Her knowledge of the wine was poor. When we were cashing out but still sitting enjoying the music she asked if we were leaving twice. We felt like she was trying to rid of us.
Otherwise we had a great time and attend Wine Down every year when we visit Brantingham Lake. Thank you!!
Still missing the ribs. Otherwise a great meal as always
a Jazz trio was promised, one of the reasons we booked. When they cancelled we should have been notified, its a 40 mile plus drive to get there
Food was great. I don't believe the one girl/kid serving from the buffet has ever been to one being that she was giving tablespoon size portions. It is loud out on the balcony and it did not help there was this huge family blocking a door way and talking while standing up for 45 minutes.
Sunday brunch or anytime at Tug Hill is a treat. The service is excellent, the setting superb, and the food is great. Only down side is the sparse selection of gluten-free, eggless, and low-sugar food choices. But that is true for nearly all dining experiences, unless one specifically finds a restaurant catering to healthy eating. Having said that, the value for the price paid is lower for people trying to eat healthy.
Overall, Tug Hill is a beautiful place to share with friends and family; a 4 out of 5 stars.
As usual everything was good. We missed the ribs though. They are our fav
My daughter and I loved celebrating her birthday at Tug Hill Vineyard. The tapas & tastings made it fun. The grounds are beautiful and the waitstaff were incredible! I highly recommend visiting. I saw it on Facebook!
Such a relaxing and beautiful place to be. The staff was super helpful, the food was amazing, and the wine even better. Can’t wait to come visit here again.
GORGEOUS! Wines are delicious, food is great, service is super friendly. Settled on a hill overlooking the beautiful views... romantic and cozy.
Honestly, this place is the best. There was so much food the people I went with and I all got something different so we could try a bite of each entree and DESSERT! Oh man, the desserts! Such a fun time. Then, after brunch we went and picked raspberries.
Food was fantastic! Service was great, even though they were swamped & trying to seat people with a rain storm and outdoor seating wasn’t an option.
The Sunday Brunch food was average. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Will return again.
Overall we love Tug hill Vineyards. The estate is so lovely and peaceful. We shared a fleet of wine while waiting for our table and enjoyed nice music. The food was simple and good. Service was very good, our server was very pleasant. I recommend strolling the grounds, so beautiful. Plan on going back with some friends.
Great environment and food with a great staff...music is an added pleasure.
Service was outstanding and the food was excellent.
Nice buffet; not much wait w/reservations; good variety; beautiful view.
Tug Hill Vineyards has a fabulous Sunday brunch....the food selection and quality is terrific, the service level excellent and the setting and views can't be beat!!
This place is a gem! We were delighted .
Wish they would grow strawberries too.
The ambiance is everything here, the cost is very high considering what you get for food, the food was just disappointing, I read the menu for the father's day buffet with my mouth watering, could not wait to get there, I was so disappointed, it was minimal and just not good. The service was fantastic the staff is speedy and polite
The type of food was not as nice as in the past years.
I felt that having one food buffet was definitely not enough for the amount of people. Not sure if we would come back.
