   A very nice little place in the lobby of the Hilton Homewood Suites Hotel. Very friendly staff and environment. Good value for your money. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our visit to the restaurant.

   The food was amazing, the steak was a bit over for my liking, although I made sure I tell our waiter how I like it. But overall, the food was great. The service was bad, the waiter didn't know the menu, when we asked for the wine, he opened a bottle, but when we told him we were only asking for a cup each because we were driving home, he said:" Well I opened the bottle I can't do anything right now, but anyway two cups of wine are like 38$, the whole bottle is for 70$ so this is better for you". I didn't want to make a big scene, I bought the bottle and informed him that I am going to take it with me (because I am not going to finish it), yet he was still reluctant but eventually conceded after I was firm about it. He didn't ask when to serve the dessert, he was ok now that you finished your mains, I am serving dessert, and immediately after finishing dessert, he went and brought us the check. In other words, he was like asking us to leave as soon as possible. We didn't appreciate this as it was on Valentine's day, and he ruined the mood for us.

    It was our first time eating there and we completely loved it! The ambiance was cool and our drinks were amazing! Need to try the cosmopolitan, absolutely amazing. We took pasta carbonara and garlic aioli. Loved the presentation and it was delicious.

    Food was mediocre, undercooked pasta and no bread provided. No salt and pepper on table. Restaurant is open concept, so lots of walking traffic to kill any ambiance. Service was good, prices are good.

    The place is super cute with beautiful purple decor, and the atmosphere was nice. Our server was either new or simply not very informed. He seemed a bit stressed and did not know what a dirty martini was when my boyfriend’s mother ordered one and came back to ask what she wanted twice. The drinks took a bit longer than I think they should have, about 20 minutes for the first round to come out (3 drinks) but they might have been busier than they seemed I guess. The food was alright, the menu was great as they label everything. Overall was an okay experience, but would probably not come back.

    The food presentation and taste was very good except service was slow because the restaurant is under staff. We waited 10 minutes to get seated and 1 hour for the food to comes after ordering. The server was nice and tried her best.

    I have always loved this chef and this restaurant and it has never failed me to deliver always meeting my expectations. This dinner was awesome but the main restaurant was booked for an event so my party was in the less intimate lounge area. As this is an open concept hotel the party music filled the main floor. So that was a disappointment... minor but for a birthday dinner it was an inconvienence. This being early days of no restrictions... people should get out there! Tulip is my go to, by the way and I will be going back often.

    Please take in consideration the importance of an excellent cup of coffee at the end of the dinner. It is juts as important as all the rest. We had to repeat it twice to the server who seemed in a hurry all the time. On top of that, the coffee tasted really bad and my fiancé was very disappointed. Thank you!

    we had a very good dining experience, until a group of suuuuuper loud people arrived to the bar and we couldn't really hear each other anymore at the table. I didn't really mind since we finished eating at that time, but annoying if you're still trying to enjoy your meal

    We tried the French pork chop, cornish chicken, sweet potato soup and the caesar salad. All delicious, the portion very generous and we could not finish. The dessert is beautifully presented and yummy. Our server was friendly and helpful. I would love to try other food the next time I go.

    Even though it’s not exactly fine dining decor and the tables were not very comfortable to sit by, but the food is absolutely amazing and the staff is really friendly and approachable. Our cocktails were right on delicious. Ambiance needs to be improved with some better music and dimmer lighting for a more exclusive dinning experience. I definitely recommend Tulip for visitors of Ottowa!

    Que dire… Service extrêmement long: je suis arrivé à 8.PM, et j’ai eu mon premier repas à 9.PM. Des gens autour de moi, arrivés après moi, ont été servis avant moi. Entre mon entrée et mon plat principal, 30min d’attente. Pour moi qui ai la digestion difficile, ce fût une torture! Parlons de cette entrée: sushi baked. L’idée en soi était bonne. Mais le rendu était assez gras, ma compagne n’a pas pu terminer son plat. Les plats principaux étaient pas mal, sans plus. Nous aurons quand même apprécié le dessert, jolie crème brûlée, et la réduction de facture offerte par le serveur pour notre longue attente.
