    It was great to be here on the last night of the real deal. So many old friends and familiar faces, which is rare these days. Definitely the end of an incredible era. The old Tupelo will be sorely missed, and the new Tupelo anticipated, with huge shoes to fill! Looking forward ti it!

    When you reopen, you need to make some menu changes. Why not add more bistro dishes. At least bring the mussels back. A burrata dish.

    I had the roasted half-chicken and while it was “simple” it was absolutely delicious. We also ordered crème brûlée for dessert. It was a tad loud… for Montana. It would go unnoticed in a more urban sprawl, but in Montana it is more noticeable.

    The food and service were very good! We are from south Louisiana on vacation and a lot of time it is hard to find food at restaurants lacking flavor and seasoning we are use to. Tupelo’s did not disappoint.

    Tupelo dining is just as fabulous as it has always been! We had a wonderful meal as usual...do wish that the baked cauliflower recipe didn't change but it was still very good! We hear that the restaurant sold so we are SO hoping nothing changes. Our server was Kate and she was fabulous!

    This is a good Whitefish restaurant...I have been to Tupelo's several times, my favorite meal is the rack of lamb.

    We have dined at Tupelo for special occasions since it first opened in 1995. The food, ambiance and service is excellent. It’s certainly one of the best restaurants in the valley.

    We had dinner with friends before the theatre. The food was great and Ryan, our server was excellent! We sat at the table in the corner next to an unused (or emergency?) door. It felt a little weird at first but it was a nice quiet corner and we had a great time. We understand Tupelo is changing owners very soon and we hope they will maintain their great menu items like the shrimp and grits, gumbo and cajun pasta that we just found and love! The cocktails were also very tasty.

    We ordered our meal and it came an HOUR later. Hostess stand, wait staff, kitchen overloaded (it was a Friday). Dark and tight quarters. Food OK. Recommend Abruzzo instead.

    They were running out of many dishes including non specials. (chicken, duck & seafood dishes.) and were not focused on providing a good dining experience. The waitress even complained about having to take late tables. Additionally they were running out of ingredients for some of the dishes. Onion rings for the meatloaf for example. They served my arugula and fennel salad without any fennel. Also they substituted Texas toast for the usual baked bread. (Terrible). They blamed their supplier . (Unprofessional)We sent it back and made them give us something else. They found some bread…(was it from another table? Ick.). The waitress capped off the evening by not bringing us the dessert menu. We wanted dessert and cocktails! Who doesn’t want to add drinks to their bill??? ( turns out they were out of half the desserts.). It was my friends treat, otherwise I would have complained to management and tipping very poorly. Fortunately the restaurant is changing ownership this autumn . I guess the owner/ staff have already given up.-one final note. I should have known something was amiss when we had two completely different menus delivered to the table. I pointed this out and gave the waitress the one from last season, but she didn’t replace it.

    Helen was great!! Food was good, a little warm on the mashed potatoes, but it didn’t stop me from eating them! Will definitely be back!

    Food was fantastic! You definitely want to get reservations ahead of time. They were very busy on a Tuesday night. I ordered the shrimp & grits, and it was so flavorful and delicious! Other dishes ordered at the table were chicken & dumplings, Cajun penne pasta, zydeco combo, and the elk meatloaf. None disappointed, although if you don't like the sweetness that comes with the huckleberry jam on top of the meatloaf, you may want to skip that.

    Nothing innovative that separates the grill from this genre of restaurants. Portions were very good but for smaller appetites there was a good chance of wasted food. Service started out fine but degraded as the place filled up.

    I had high hopes for the Duck Confit plate, but was pretty disappointed with the reality of it. The presentation was beautiful, and the ingredients were fresh. However, the duck was overcooked and very dry, and there was insufficient balsamic glaze to flavor the duck much less serve as a dressing for the greens. Menu states "berries" are part of the dish, which I took to mean a variety, but it was just blueberries that didn't have much flavor. Good in concept, poor execution. Other members of the party had the filet, which was beautifully cooked and they enjoyed it; and the shrimp and grits, which was also enjoyed. We had a table reserved and were asked to move to the lounge after 2 ½ hours at our table so they could turn the table over. We ended up leaving instead.

    We have been to Tupelo many times over the years, last night was just as good as every other time. Wonderful service and amazing fresh food. You will not be disappointed.

    Food was fantastic - we don’t drink alcohol, I feel like our waitress did not provide the service she was giving others. We had to ask if their were specials, didn’t explain any of the food choices.

    The catfish appetizer was good, but tasted like chicken. The shrimp and grits not so tasty. Bread was good. Gumbo below average. Roux tasted like gravy. Our server was great. We are not likely to return as food did not measure up the the prices.

    Superb food & service! Our waiter was great & we loved the food & jazz music near the bar. The only complaint that I would have is that there were a couple of people at nearby separate tables that had had too much to drink & were practically screaming their conversation & laughing extremely loud back & forth to each other which was annoying & ridiculous. Thankfully, it didn’t last our whole visit. :)
