Our server, Mary, was excellent! The fried green tomatoes were slightly overcooked, which made them difficult to cut, but were still delicious. The noise level, though, was so loud that no one at our table could hear what anyone else was saying. Probably wouldn’t go again at the height of brunch/lunch service (noon). I’d suggest before 11 am or after 1 pm.

It took 20 minutes to get a waiter to notice us. I didn’t get my first drink until after the appetizer,salad and meal came and they all came at once. That’s correct! The drinks came last.

Waitress was nice and very helpful. Manager Keyanna was very personable and polite, professional. Enjoyed everything from our table to the food and drinks. The recommendations were spot on. Would definitely dine again. No complaints!

I had brunch there for the first time on Saturday . What a disappointment ! Service was extremely slow after an hour of waiting for our food the waitress had even placed by our order, at least that’s what the manager said. Of which I do not believe.. we all had chicken and waffles. Chicken was not good. I guess you couldn’t go wrong with waffles. 1 will not go again, nor will I make a recommendation

Food & drink was very good. Biggest complaint is that the menus smelled awful. I realize this is a strange criticism but they smelled like sour milk. Whatever cleaning / wipe down process they are doing for the menus is not working.

Went in on a Wednesday night for a date night. The service was PHENOMENAL. Tim is friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. The food was tasty, little salty, but delicious. Weren't many people inside, but outside was full. Biscuits are HUGE, so beware. ☺️ Good time, good place, good price!

Ate on patio. Table close to us had 2 dogs which kept barking loudly & long at any other dog passing by. Very distracting. Chicken & meatloaf were good but roasted veggies (Brussels sprouts & broccolini) were both way undercooked. Not worth the money.

The food at Tupelo is always fantastic. The atmosphere is great. The service is also very good, although I suspect, like many restaurants, they are a little short-staffed. We tried their blueberry hand pies for desert. They were delicious!

Tupelo Honey is never a disappointment. The food, service and quality is top notch. I've never had anything there I haven't liked. The only drawback I have about the space is that it is so loud in there, you feel like you're yelling to speak to the person across the table from you so the key is to go either really early for whatever meal your planning to at least start out a better noise level.

Food was great. Table service was fast, attentive and well done. Frustrations: took a long time to get the hostess to come back to the front to seat any of the waiting parties. Also: no beer menu in hardcopy. Must use QR code to find and then that was VERY difficult to read on a phone — site designed to keep big boxes open so you have only a tiny space to actually scroll and read. Paper menu for food says to ask for a paper copy or do the QR code but there were none. Please realize not everyone likes QR codes! Husband didn’t have a phone with him as I had mine. Shocking, but SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT ATTACHED TO PHONES. Please provide alternatives even if it is a chalkboard above the bar.

We loved the restaurant. My only thing that I didn’t like was that everything we had… biscuits, chicken,potatoes, meatloaf and Brussel sprouts were so salty. The other thing was the cocktails are a bit pricey!

This was my third visit but first brunch. We had delicious shrimp and grits, the fried chicken benny, and the traditional breakfast. The Blue Ridge mimosa was perfect but the best thing was the wonderful iced coffee served with cream and A SHOT GLASS OF SIMPLE SYRUP! Who DOES that?? (Tupelo Honey!) No undissolved sugar sediment and perfectly sweet coffee. I can't wait to go back!

It is simply awesome!!! The atmosphere, the service and oh my goodness the food was amazing! I had the Fried Chicken and Biscuit and my husband had the Dark Meat Honey Dusted Fried Chicken with a side salad. The fried chicken was so delicious and the biscuits are the biggest, lightest most delicious biscuits I’ve ever had - and I’ve spent some time in South Carolina tasting biscuits. Our server was so sweet and helpful with suggestions we couldn’t have had a better experience! We will be back. I highly recommend you give it a try. Oh and it’s very family friendly.

It was a typical busy saturday, and it seemed like the kitchen was slow. Our server let us know that the biscuits would take a little longer, so we adjusted our order accordingly and asked to out in an order anyway but knowing they would come out when we were done with our food and enjoy as a dessert. It is one thing to understand a kitchen running behind, it is another to receive poor service- she was not attentive to us, as we sat at our table for ten minutes before asking for a drink order. The bar seemed to be running slow too- as it took a while to get drinks and then she forgot the non-alcoholic beverages. By the time we got our food, you could tell she did not put the order in correctly. Each plate had something wrong. She also forgot to put in the order of biscuits. We asked to cancel it and she had probably already asked for them “in the fly”. She brought the bill without a detailed receipt. No adjustments were made for her lack of attention. No manager came by to check on us. Im rather disappointed in the lack of service & attention to detail.

We have dined at Tupelo Honey in Greenville SC many times and looked forward to it being in Columbus. I don’t know what happened but the quality was definitely not as good, and there were changes to dishes that were not true to their origins. Bummer!

My first experience of Tupelo Honey was unfortunately not a good one. I give grace for short staffed restaurants and servers with a ton of tables to tend to. In my case, I had a particularly bad experience with the host. I arrived for my reservation early and was told they weren’t seating anyone due to the kitchen being backed up and to check in again at the exact time of my reservation. My party decided to sit at the bar until our table was ready, but was told by the hostess not to order food. I checked on my table again twice more and was told they still weren’t seating anyone. To my surprise after the third check-in we see 4 other parties that had JUST walked in being seated before us despite us waiting nearly an hour after our reservation and being told by the hostess not to order food at the bar. Communication was poor. We were finally seated and received good service by our waiter. Overall it wasn’t a good experience, but I’m hoping it was a fluke.
