   We had about 18 people and the restaurant was extremely accommodating! Everyone had a terrific meal, a nice time, and the service was great.

   it took forever to get drinks whether we were at the bar or our table. Not sure if they just need to hire more staff, or this is how it always is, but probably won't come back.

   Trendy new place in busy area near OSU. They have an allusion about some famous food from North Carolina or someplace. They specialize in “famous” fried chicken that was dry, over-spiced, and expensive. Additional honey for the dry chicken was not offered to my party. The crackling potatoes were just deep fried, baked potatoes with too much salt. This is the typical trendy place that thinks it is cute , I guess, to make everything too spicy without notice. Other selections might be better, but I would be afraid to try it again. We had a reservation and had to wait for a table to be cleaned.

   Excellent service and the avocado toast is delicious....a bit spicy, which made is so good! Hope you open one in Centerville, Ohio next! Our downtown is growing!

   Food is actually pretty good. Staff, however, is awful. I watched a service drop a plate on a customer. Since she was scared to return to the table, her solution was not to serve any of her tables. We had to go to the bar for drink refills and I had to ask 3 different people to finally bring the check.

   Overall the experience was okay but definitely not soul food southern . Nothing exciting to write home about. My husband and I ordered non-alcoholic drinks - lavender lemonade and ginger beer. They were both delicious. For apps we only ordered the cauliflower bites…yummy! Our entrees were okay. We both had the fried chicken which sadly comes with one side. I ordered the S&P pan seared brussels sprouts which left a greasy film in my throat, hubby had their creamy parmesan grits and we ordered a side of fried smashed potatoes. Unfortunately, our entree was lukewarm and we had to send back the potatoes because they were too cold. They gladly replaced the fries with a fresh tasty batch. Basically, our entrees were overpriced for one side, and the menu felt limited with few interesting entree options. Our main server was eeh but the bar manager did damage control which we both greatly appreciated. Hats off to her. If we return it would be for drinks and apps only. My husband and I both have a culinary degrees and are trained chefs so expectations might be higher than the average diner. I say give it a try because your experience could be better than ours.

    We made a 7:45 reservation, they closed at 8. Why would it allow us to make such a late reservation? They rushed us out and it was not enjoyable.

    Average franchise southern style dining. Food wasn’t bad but wasn’t memorable either. Would probably be a great weekend brunch spot with the outdoor front patio, although with the busy street traffic maybe not. The service was terrible and it took over 2 hours total before we left but the waiter discounted our bill a bit for it. Never cleared our empty glasses or plates though. 4.5/10

    The biscuits were amazing, the nachos were enjoyable, not a huge fan of pimento cheese, the Brussel sprouts were delectable and crisp. The best dinner that we ordered was my son’s BLT with avocado and fried chicken. My daughter enjoyed her mahi-mahi. It was the first time she had it. My husband loved his shrimp and grits. I got the waffles mac & cheese, and fried chicken combo. I think that the chicken sat on the warmer for a while, but it was still good. My daughter got the hot and sweet. overall the meal was enjoyable and my husband had a great birthday day. The drinks were both enjoyable my husband had the boozy turkey. And I enjoyed the Tupelo honey drink. We will be back to try other options.

    Wonderful restaurant and also food. I just wish my server had actually gotten my meal accurately and not charged me for the “Wrong” meal. I ordered the lunch special of a sandwich with sides. She gave me the HOT chicken full sandwich. When I brought it to her attention, she did nothing to fix it. Also, even though I pointed to the menu when I order — she blamed me because I didn’t say 2 sides. Bad service. Good food.

    The food was not very good. Biscuits were dry and the burgers were overcooked and lacked flavor. The chicken however was good. I doubt we will ever go back.

    First time diner at Tupelo Honey. The food and service was good for the most part. The Chicken Tortilla soup was lousy - there were bones in the soup and it was otherwise meh. Smothered and fried chicken entrees were good, not great, Potato Cracklins and fries were good, biscuits were good, though a little undercooked inside. They were out of meatloaf before 7 PM, which makes me wonder if it is the best entree or if they just don't make enough. Restaurant is moderately loud and tables are jammed closely together. Prices are a bit high for what you get. I'll try it again, but was expecting better

    We drove to Columbus for the Bruce Springsteen concert on March 9 only to find that it had been canceled. We kept our dinner reservations at Tupelo Honey having had a good experience at the Asheville location. The service and food were excellent. Management/ our waitress wanted to give each member of my family a free desert to cheer us up because our concert was cancelled. We had one banana pudding with 3 spoons. It was excellent as was our meal. How kind they would do something so nice for completre strangers. We visit Coliumbus at least twice a year and will be sure to eat there everytime we visit.

    I have been to multiple Tupelo Honey locations and have never been disappointed…. But there’s a first time for everything. We waited an hour and 40 minutes for our food after ordering promptly upon being seated. We waited 25 minutes AFTER our drinks were empty to receive refills and the part that made me the most angry was that after all of that my food was cold. Tables around us received their food, ate and paid before we even got our entrees even after arriving and ordering after us. Our waiter was nice enough but either he was too overwhelmed or not suited for service life as he could not get it together. Also my husband has a shellfish allergy and we have always been able to choose several things off the menu at other locations as they fry the chicken separately, but that is not the case at this location. When he asked what he was able to eat the waiter replied “soup or pimento cheese”. I will never come back to this location, but will still frequent Asheville or Greenville whenever possible as the food is usually outstanding.
