We did the lunch menu (w/o the free drink). It was delicious. We shared the dessert- a Turkish pudding with Oreos and had the apple teas. Certainly tasty and couldn't eat another bite.

This is one of my go to restaurants, especially when entertaining out of town friends. It is quiet and conducive to conversation and a lovely small space. The service is excellent as is the food. In spite of the location of the restaurant, it is not filled with tourists. It is truly a local gem.

The hostess was very accommodating. She showed us the indoor space, and the patio, but we chose to sit out front. The service was very friendly and helpful. We had the spicy hummus, soup, and a special appetizer. For the entree, we shared the mixed grill for one. Everything was delicious.

Have been going to this restaurant for years. Updated menus ,new chairs and tables and same delicious Turkish food with great service. We love this place for pre theatre. And their tea is amazing. Enjoy!

My second visit to Turkish Cuisine and the food is so delicious! We appreciated the attentive service, too. While the grapeleaves and avocado hummus were superb there were three grape leaves and, for the price, seemed a little meager. We had the bronzino, which was delicious, but, again...pricey. The iced tea and hot mint tea were both really refreshing, but considering that we did not drink alcohol, our bill came to about $180. That seems really high. Doubtful I'd go back, since I can find excellent Turkish food for much less (under $100/for 2), but I do like the option if I'm on that side of town...Again, it's not for someone on a budget.

The restaurant is delightfully decorated. I had a special appetizer of spinach and feta in a thin dough with yogurt, it was delicious. The lamb bulgur entree was very good. The service was attentive, but did not rush one. I definitely will go again.

I dined with 2 dear friends of mine. We had a great visit. This restaurant is very FRIENDLY. It’s not too crowded - it’s a little noisy but we could hear each other fine. Nice photos & artwork on all the walls. And the bathroom is a HOOT! Staff was great - very attentive - would recommend this to anybody going to a theater near here. 💖👍 Jody

It was amazing! The service and attention received was outstanding. Being it’s a small place and weeknight, there was lots of time to just chat with the seemed to be owners/managers. The food was to die for! It was so delicious!!! We are there on our last night in NYC and before our “grand finale” event of seeing Phantom of the Opera. Having this delicious meal at such a great place made the night even more special!

Every time we come the food is excellent and the staff are so friendly and attentive. It’s perfect for before theatre or even Lincoln Center. It’s a slow calm vibe where you can relax and enjoy dinner but the service is fast enough that you don’t have to worry about the time to get to a show. It’s a beautiful atmosphere a real oasis and the prices are very reasonable

Absolutely delicious food, lovely service, and a cozy ambience. The falafel is so good, and the three types of hummus (plain, spicy, and avocado) are divine. I always get the chicken with yogurt sauce and it is flavorful, juicy, and perfect. This is wholesome food, and lovingly prepared. We live 2 hours away, and whenever we're in NYC, we make sure to come here.

1st time but won't be our last. The food was delicious, especially the dolma and the pork chops. The staff were wonderful. Due to covid concerns, we aren't eating indoors yet and really appreciated the manager opening the back patio for us.
