Incredible customer service, top notch food, and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. There's so much heart and flavour in this food and this restaurant you've got to check it out.
Great business lunch. Very good food and service. Will go back.
It’s always a lovely experience at the Twisted Lemon! It’s hard for us girls to get together but when we do, Twisted Lemon always wins. Our hats off to the Chef and staff! You made our birthday dinner amazing!
The collection of tastes on a unique take on popular menu items was something I will look forward to experiencing again. We are still raving about the meals we had. The restaurant itself has a cozy yet romantic feel. I would recommend this to anyone
Food is inventive and delicious. Chef Dan personally came by the table to ensure everything was perfect. A must-visit destination in the Niagara region!
An absolute must go. Make sure to ask Patrick about his " entertainment beers". Chef Dan thank you for an amazing food experience.
Amazing service from the hostess to our wine /bar server to our young waitress. All very knowledgeable. Great drinks-apps-dinner-dessert flow. Did not feel rushed.
Still my favorite restaurant of all time! A true gem.
Yes, II not only would recommend it to a friend, I have already recommended it to friends. We were sorry that the owners had to close Lakeroad in Hamilton, which we really liked. When we found out they already owned Twisted Lemon we wanted to try it.
Always love a meal at twisted....Chef Dan is amazing and always takes a moment to chat....
We had beyond amazing service. The owners and our waiter were so lovely. The food was full of flavor and the drinks were fantastic. We had a wonderful time.
Beautiful local fare with an artistic twist. Paired with fantastic cocktails and wines. Loved every minute of it.
The Grand Hammer was a huge hit. We’d never been for lunch before but it was a huge success. A generous amount of mouthwatering food for only $15!!
We are regular patrons and have been for ages. Friendly atmosphere and great food. Avocado toast was amazing! Portions are generous and always delicious.
We have been enjoying Twisted Lemon for 10 year, and come annually to celebrate our anniversary. My husband loves Grumpy, but I always look forward to trying something different, and I am never disappointed. All of the staff are warm and friendly and down to earth. We love the emphasis on local, seasonal food and their unique preparation and presentation. We purchased a gift certificate and will be introducing someone new to this lovely restaurant.
Food always amazing and staff enjoyable. Love every opportunity I get to eat here.
Absolutely amazing. Staff were courteous, everyone absolutely enjoyed their meal. We had the Lasagna, Scallops, Shrimp, Lamb and Pickerel and everything was just flavoured and cooked to perfection.
Worth the drive to Cayuga for something different.
Caprese salad was outstanding.
All was excellent until nearing the time to leave when a man started to weed whack at the neighbouring fence. A woman at the next table stood up and said something. It stopped immediately. We were very thankful because it was making for an unpleasant ending to a wonderful lunch on the patio.
A little gem in Cayuga. The food was all freshly prepared and made to order. The daily soup was the best. The restaurant lakes adequate light due to only a few windows. The service was attentive. The substitute chef stepped out to ask how we enjoyed our meal (Chef Dan Megna was away the week we attended.)
Amazing place, our absolute favourite place to eat.
Went on a Tuesday night - there were no "specials" and some items on the limited menu were also not available....feels like this restaurant caters to weekends....
It’s simple you have to go there since Chef Dan says so
Loved the alcoholic freebie. The pan seared Pickerel with a coconut lemon beurre blanc was fantastic; loved the sweet potatoe banan fritters that were served with it.
We hoped to try the fried “grumpy” laaagna but they were out of it. It’s hugely popular. They recommend reserving the lasagna when you book your table if you want to be guaranteed they’ll have it for you.
Even thou Dan was taking a well deserved night off, His team met all expectations. From Patrick having a bottle of our favorite wine available to the tremendous table service that we are accustomed to and we can't leave out the ones that make it all come together and platted so nicely The Kitchen crew. this is what makes The Twisted Lemon our go to for special occasions
We had a very good dinner at The Twister Lemon! Appetizers (Beet salad and Scallops) were both very good! The Pickeral was excellent - perfectly cooked and the rice with edamame was a perfect accompaniment! My wife had the Chicken and Waffle which tasted great however was a bit on the skimpy side for the chicken! Too much breading and not enough chicken.
Service was excellent - attentive without being overbearing.
We’ll definitely return but will avoid the chicken!
Quaint restaurant with a great menu of varied items. Service was terrific by everyone. We’ll definitely be back.
Always a great meal never disappointed . Great food , great staff awesome place .
Such care is put into each dish. The flavours and interest level of each dish is high. I love getting a meal where I go 'what's that?' and find new foods or new twists on foods. The service is also outstanding. Very caring, prompt and friendly. I wouldn't change anything....
Loved this restaurant. Such a very nice atmosphere. Definately a must visit.
Great food and service. Never a disappointment to eat here.
We sat outdoors on the patio which was nice. The only negative comment I have is that three times we had cigarette smoke as well as cigar smoke wafting past our table from the smokers in the parking lot. Perhaps smokers should be asked to smoke farther away from the patio.
The eclectic restaurant was interesting. The noise level very high which spoiled our anniversary evening.
The appetizers were good but the main was over cooked/blackened, and 3 scallops for $18. way over priced. The multi rice dish was good.
We always enjoy the food, and the service is fantastic - we reluctantly took our children, and they went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great evening. The seats could use updating, though, as the vinyl stuck to my legs in bits, and I went home with it on me haha.
My husband and myself had lunch at the Twisted Lemon and it was our first visit. The menu was amazing with a variety of choices from light fare such as soup and salad to chicken and waffles. I had a chicken club sandwich that melted in your mouth along with real Yukon Gold fries. Wonderful!!! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and it was beyond delicious with fluffy waffles and moist chicken. He cannot wait to go back and order it again. Dessert was a banana bread cheesecake for my husband and creme brulee for me. The cheesecake was divine with a light caramel sauce and the creme brulee was heavenly. The service was attentive and friendly. Wonderful experience overall and we cannot wait to go back for lunch or dinner.
We loved this restaurant. All staff were so attentive! The Cauliflower appetizer was so good as was the wild boar dinner and sweet potato gnocchi dinner - melt in your mouth good! The scallops appetizer with Panko crusted tomatoes was also very nice and we especially loved the tomatoes with them but didn’t think the scallops were anything extraordinary. They were still tasty just not something we would rave about. The banana bread pudding cheesecake was so delicious. We will definitely return!
Was an amazing experience will go back again Food was second to none
Great little gem of a restaurant
Wonderful! Food is always so fantastic and matched by the incredible service!
Exceptional and outstanding are the words that first come to mind!
We enjoyed the food very much. Our waitress was nice but she never stopped to ask how the meal was or if we needed anything. She only stopped by to ask if we'd like dessert. It was very loud and thankfully we weren't sitting close to the other tables. As it was whenever my wife or I spoke to one another we had to lean over the table to hear what the other was saying.
