TWO urban licks
Brunch: Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm
The hostess was a bit rude. When I entered there was no greeting and she was sitting down.
Love the open air onto the belt line. An Atlanta staple staying modern all the way around. Great experience.
2UL never fails.
The valet staff was inadequate for the amount of patrons coming to this restaurant. We thought someone called out sick, but the guy said they are simply understaffed.
Cane was an amazing server!
How have I not been here until now?! Excellent meal, wine, craft cocktails, and service. I’ll be back. Soon.
My husband,s Birthday. We had an excellent time with family and our server was amazing.
Our waitress Jessie was absolutely beyond amazing! Not only was her service great but her knowledge of the menu was spot on! The food was amazing. We had the chicken and the brisket...with the salmon chips as an appetizer. We definitely will be back!!!
Beautiful ambience and delicious food! Our server Xavier was super friendly too! Highly recommend the salmon chips and the calamari as appetizers and the steak was huge and I really enjoyed the chicken and mac and cheese too and my adult beverage!
My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves the atmosphere was pleasant.
Service was EXCELLENT! Reservations were honored and we were seated within minutes of arrival. Several seasonal selections were tried and we were pleased with all. Would visit again and highly recommend to everyone
Great atmosphere and the service was outstanding. The waitress was amazing and very personal. Great unique food selections.
My food was not what I expected and the service was not great. It was my husbands birthday and it did not turn out as I had hoped. Nice ambiance that’s about it!
Good food. Service was mediocre. Bathrooms were a mess. Long waits between drinks and servers were unfriendly. Won't rush back.
The food was good, but it was very noisy and you sit very close to everyone. Good place to grab a glass a wine and a quick meal, but wouldn't recommend for a special occasion.
Our waitress had a very strong accent. We had a difficult time understanding her.
Yummy interesting foods and wines...noisy for talking but we managed fine. Decor is chic industrial in keeping with the building in which it is located. We would definitely go again!
We were swarmed with flies outside. The wait staff did their best to keep them away but nature was not having it. Probably a seasonal thing and it wouldn’t keep me from coming back but it would have been nice if they comped us something due to the nuisance. There were easily 50 flies hovering over our food. Seemed like something out of a Hitchcock movie. Needless to say, the flies were really disruptive!
We asked if we could be seated outside and the hosts said yes. What they didn’t say was that giant (I mean huge!) flies would be swarming around us as soon as food came to our table. When we commented on it they said yeah but they were only bad from 6-7 (this was at 6:30). Our dinner would be finished well before the flies were gone. The food was very good and service was fine but if you know the flies would be horrid for an hour, I think it certainly should be brought up to guests before seating them on the patio!
Once we got in the restaurant it was really nice. The staff were awesome!! The ambiance was really nice too. The one complaint I have is parking. My husband and I had never been so we didn’t know where to go to get the valet parking. We ended up parking ourselves and walking to the restaurant. That wouldn’t be an issue except valet was there but for people who don’t know to drive up one side and you would be helped, they were virtually ‘non-existent’. We would still go again and refer others as well
It was a nice restaurant and I had an issue with the temperature my lamb was cooked and asked that it be cooked up one more level but to my surprise, the staff replaced the entire meal.
We had a great time there and everything was nothing short of amazing.
I will highly recommend this place to anyone.
Terrific atmosphere, food and service. The smoked salmon chips are a real treat and the scallops were fabulous.
Curt Simmons (my best friends cousins) knew it was my birthday and he treated our party of 6 with a couple of your amazing appetizers. The bartender was extremely polite and very informative about the fused drinks. Your place is wonderful and we love the patio! Fifth birthday we’ve celebrated at your restaurant 😊
Two urban licks is my favorite restaurant! I came back to visit Atlanta and had to stop here. My friends fell in love with it too! The salmon chips are to die for!!
great food the brisket was a little dry but everything else was great!!
I took some business associates visiting for out of tow there and had a great time.
Wouldn’t go back. Food was great. Workers seemed defeated and not happy to be there....
Walked into a very loud and ultimately not very romantic restaurant there was live music which was great but it only seemed to encourage higher volume.
Great night out for our wedding anniversary. Went with group of four. Reservations were handled with immediate seating on busy Saturday night. Appetizers are amazing! Those with the bread could put you down for the night so pace yourself.
Host/Hostess very considerate and friendly though they were very busy. Server was charming and helpful.
The experience at Two Urban Licks was amazing overall. The setting and scenery was great, the food was even better. The only bad part of the evening was eating on the patio due to the food attracting multiple flies, nonetheless I would recommend this to others.
Great service, excellent food, would highly recommend.
The steak was extremely fatty. Great ambiance. Didn’t love my drink but that’s ok.
Two Urban Licks has been a favorite of mine for 10+ years. It's a great spot if dining alone and want to sit around the open kitchen and watch the cook staff at work, date night, celebrations and business dinners. Our server did a nice job. He was slow to respond at times but made sure we had a good experience. This was the 2nd time there where someone in my party had an issue with the food quality. Both times the dish should never have left the kitchen and it was up to management to make things right. Unfortunate as it was, they did the right thing. I'd like to think we could get through a visit without having the manager offer to adjust the check.
This IS NOT the place for a first date, or a serious business discussion. It is loud. Very loud. So loud, I always ask for a table near the back so we're not too close to the bar area where the live band is playing. We were sat at a booth right next to the bar and could not hear anyone across the table all night. I enjoyed the conversation with the friend seated next to meet but would have liked to catch up with the other side of the table as well.
Despite having a not so perfect evening, this place still has me hooked and I will be back. If the next visit or two is a similar experience there will be a hunt for a new favorite in town place to dine.
For carnivores you will find some unique selections of meat and authentic plates. The portions are more than generous so you won’t leave hungry.
Loved everything about 2 Urban Licks! EVERYTHING was delish!!
The appetizers and main entrées are great but the desserts are OK
Really enjoyed outside dining, they need to address the flies that arrived when our food arrived. Excellent food and service.
Leaving the restaurant We walked through. Glad we ate outside as inside was loud, smoky and a little dark. Enjoyed seeing the food being cooked on the fire, amazing scale of the inside. Our meals were great - brisket, chicken, corn, succotash. Too full for dessert and swatting flies. Did ask for citronella candle-didn’t have. Noticed they put a fan on an hors d’oeurves display for a private party - I believe they realize it’s an issue. Great patio area for catching up.
I’ve visited Two Urban Licks several times. It’s always loud and hard to carry on a conversation, even the outside dining area.
I had a reservation and they wanted to seat us at a table right by the patio door which was lousy. We moved to two other tables and all the tables appeared to be wobbly, which is never fun.
The service was a little slow but full of personality (thanks Nicole).
The food was the highlight and always is. Love those roasted oysters and chicken! So good.
I will go back but be selective of my dining partners as it’s always hard to hear
