Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole’s, Uchi, is open in Miami. Chef Cole's signature non-traditional take on Japanese food has delighted guests from around the world since its original location in Austin, Texas since 2003.
Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance for parties of up to 10 guests. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. My 4th time at UCHI. I’m always impressed w the amazing menu. It’s so unique and every item is special and artfully crafted. The service is beyond . Many different servers bring your dishes and each one is knowledgeable about every dish. It’s absolutely a favorite restaurant of ours. Always the first choice for a special occasion!

Nice restaurant in upcoming busy and crowded neighborhood, service was below par for a restaurant of this kind, waiter new very little about the menu dishes and drinks, but menu is confusing (to his defense) and not clear of what you about to get so be ready to be surprised, portions and size are hardly baby size and not reflecting the price, to top it off I can say that no dish was amazing or make me say I got to go back.

I love Uchi for their Fried milk dessert so yummy, but overall I love it here. It's a little dark inside for my liking but other than that no compliments. Value for the food is average.

Uchi continues to be a favorite. Reception is welcoming and acknowledges us a returning dine in guests. Our server was very attentive and always checked in on how we were doing as our food orders came in. While we ordered our favorites we were also able to try several new dishes with our visiting guests, who loved everything about the restaurant and especially the food, sake & beer we consumed over happy hour to dinner. We shall continue to return here!
