   Everything we had was beautifully presented and was delicious. We had the Spicy Shrimp roll and the double seafood roll. Service was good. Our water forgot to bring us another requestef pitcher of water and made it up to us by bringing us bottled Italian spring water to go. Very nice gesture. I was visiting Orlando but if I return I would definitely come back.

   Great service, and the food was amazing! Thank you so much for an excellent meal for the second Mother’s Day in a row! Had 3 rolls and some edamame to split between my husband and I and our 4 year old and it was perfect!

   Ambience was great but my meal came out about 25 mins after my friends and it was overcooked/a very small portion. Server did not check on us much but did recommend some very tasty food and the sashimi was delighrful.

   Thought we’d try Umi before the theatre. Lovely ambience, great food. Service was pleasant and efficient. Never had bulgogi before and it was delicious. We will definitely return.

    Food was wonderful - we had an assortment of rolls, all fresh and tasty, as well as some apps. My favorite was the pan-seared gyoza. Our server was attentive and took great care of us! Highly recommend Umi if you’re anywhere near this area of Winter Park!

    Price too high for what it is. The location is great - downtown Winter Park. The service is outstanding and the food is good to great. BUT: the Sashimi I had was average in quality and high in price. It's not a place I would go for Sushi. I don't mind paying high prices but the quality needs to match the price tag - here it does not. The seafood my GF had was better however.

    Edamame and miso soup are our go-to appetizers at Umi. Eel with rice was a favorite entree that is no longer on the menu, though the kitchen has prepared it for me several times upon request. Lately, however, we have settled into beef bibimbap because we think that Umi has the best version of this dish of all those we’ve tried in the Orlando area.

    Thought it would be swamped because of the art festival that day, so I made reservations for 2pm. Probably not necessary. May be quite different for dinner, of course. Was pretty quiet. Liked that. Little to no wait for food. Waiter was attentive but not hovering. Food was all delicious. Pricey, but it IS Winter Park. LOL Table was a little small, and no place for bags/packages if you have any.

    The quality is there but the execution is way off. Servers were very very casual, even some in baseball hats? My server was very nice but provided no menu tours or details about dishes- and didn’t ask about allergies. The sushi portions are good size and all flavors worked well. But my roll was not even cut all the way through the nori and not even sized pieces at all. I got dessert to go- maybe a bad choice- because it was one of the tinniest little pieces of cheesecake I've seen. No sauce, no garnish, no ice cream. Nothing. My menu was covered with stains which I could see as every light was blasted at full brightness. If you’re in for maybe a casual check out and bite- do it. For dates and special occasions -others provide way batter.

    The picanha entree & shrimp tempura were our favorite dishes of the night. For Valentine’s Day, it was busy, and the kitchen was backed up. But our server gave us complimentary soup for the wait and was attentive.

    We eat a lot of sushi and sashimi around Orlando. First time here, but it was the worst fish we have had yet. Tried their special sushi/sashimi/2-roll platter for 2 ($125)...The fish seemed old (it was a Monday, perhaps all left over from the weekend? But if so, no pride in their offering), the rice was excessive, thick and spongy, the Miso soup was salty. Chef's choice of 2 rolls, one was good (a white fish on top, likely some mayo inside...) but the other was spicy tuna (I think with jalapeno?!!?) and overwhelmed all other flavors after each bite. Overall quite disappointed, and way over-priced. We noticed the menu was 20% or so Korean dishes, which we like, but we were there for the fish/sushi. Sorry, but cannot recommend.

    This was our first time at Umi, and I must say that I was positively impressed. The food was excellent and very prompt. Everybody in my party ate every molecule of food from their plates. The staff was very friendly and attentive. There was a great vibe to the place overall.

    Our food came at completely different time. So much so that I was finished entirely with my dinner and mommy plate was removed before my companion got his sushi rolls. Pops order coordination between the kitchen and the sushi line. Sat outside and this end of Park Avenue is lacking the charm of the rest of downtown winter park. Would not recommend sitting outside in the evening.
